Crowpaw wanted nothing more than to see his friend again. Rival Clanners as they were, no one could stop them from visiting in their dreams. Once he had slipped into his nightmare, as he had many times before, the young tom made his way to the beach, where he hoped to see Sweetsong, the small and sleek golden tabby. The words Poisonberry spoke previously were still hanging over his mind, but he would not acknowledge them when he had one thing on his mind today: letting his story be told to the one who would listen.
Sweetsong promised him she'd hear him the next dream they had together, and that's what was happening. He heard the shuffle of her paws on the sand as he approached the vast expanse of the endless lake and messy sand beneath his toes. The young tombs eyes were eager to see the she-cat once more, and he was not disappointed. There she was, golden pelt and soft eyes, sitting in front of the water.
He let out a purr as he approached and sat beside her, waiting a few short moments before speaking.
"Hey." His teeth appeared in a smile as he took in the ocean's waves lapping at the sand.
"Glad you came for me... how are you? All well in RiverClan?"
