Lostspark (@/Rose) - Even though Lostspark's death shattered at-the-time Birdpaw, Birdecho is a new cat. She misses her mother, but she's not going to let her grief consume her anymore. Mama will always have a spot in Birdecho's heart.

Pondpaw (@/anika) - Pondpaw is super nice to Birdecho, and she appreciates the company the other apprentice offers her. Pondpaw is probably Birdecho's only friend around her age! She hopes Pondpaw can become a warrior soon so they can go hunting together.

Rookfire (@/alec) - Rookfire was one of the two cats who actually checked in on her after Lostspark's death. While Birdecho had been hesitant about the tom that had stolen Mossfreckle's heart, she's come around to him, and considers him a friend.

Sleepysunrise (@/Estelle) - The cat Birdecho is closest to. Birdecho would do anything for her sister, to an almost unsettling degree. Sleepysunrise's support and training when Birdecho was an apprentice helped her overcome her fear of violence, and become a warrior!

Personality

Overview: From a young age, Birdecho had been enthusiastic and full of a deep love for life. She loved her family, especially her mother and (forcefully) adopted older brother, Mossfreckle. No matter what happened, Birdecho remained positive and cheerful--often to the detriment of the clan's perception of her. As she learned how to speak, a young Birdecho would only speak using other cats' voices. When her eldest full brother, Smokekit, was found dead and half-eaten in the medicine den, Birdecho developed a strong aversion to the thought and act of violence. She started having severe intrusive thoughts about hurting her family, and this tormented her for moons. As an apprentice, Birdecho noticed that her family continued to implode. More siblings died or disappeared, Lostspark and Darkfall separated, and Birdpaw's tentative relationships fell apart. Then Lostspark died, and Birdecho shattered. She was practically catatonic for two moons, until she was involved in a battle with rats and snakes, in which she was able to make piece with a part of herself through senseless violence. Fun, right? Soon after, Birdecho was given her warrior name. She vowed on that day to never be the weak sibling again. She would be strong, but only for herself.
