Mistlewhisker snorted at Ospreysplash’s comment, shaking her head in amusement. It was true that a lot of mentors recently seemed to be slacking with their apprentices. It would prove very difficult in times ahead if they didn’t get their act together. Maybe she should gather the apprentices together for a mass training exercise. “Proper training can mean the difference between a full belly and starvation, especially in leaf bare.” The large molly looked down at the apprentice, but her scarred gaze wasn’t unkind. “Luckily there are three of us.
