Eaglekit stumbled out of the nursery, shaking the leftover warmth from her fur and relishing the sting of frigid air through her fur. She didn't know why, but she felt so much more comfortable in the cold. The warmth of the den made her skin prickle, and her nose itch. She settled down in a corner of the clearing, purring softly as she let her gaze sweep across the clearing. She had only been in the clan for a few weeks at that point, and thus far had only interacted with Rushwater. Even then, after dropping her off at the nursery, she hadn't spoken with him at all. She wondered if he had forgotten about her. Flicking her ear to dispel the thoughts, she tucked her little paws in closer to her body.
