"It is true that I did come to join the battle, and that I didn't end up actually fighting anyone, but there is reason." He remembered the rage that built up inside him. He had wanted to hurt RiverClan for what had happened to Twilightstar, but that rage had ended up leaving him with only his own blood in his fur. "I rushed in to fight, but I got disorientated. I found myself away from the battle, unable to get back, even though I could hear the cries. Anger was clouding my senses. When I finally cam back, the battle was over." It had been a rush of confusion, and he could only remember patches. His face and flank scratched by branches and overgrowth.
