Osprey had woken up to a surprise. She was fully engulfed in water only a few hours after giving birth. Looking around, she noticed the rest of her kits had mostly gone. Maybe they swam out somehow and tried to find help.

Osprey looked around frantically. Her air running out quickly. She struggled to bring herself up as her long pelt felt heavy, weighing her down much.

She swam up. I swear if you don't make it out alive! She thought to herself, reaching a small air pocket. As loud as she could, she yelped something she never thought she'd say ever again. "HELP!" It came out quiet, muffled gurgled. As quickly as she came up, the air pocket was filled with water again. Dragging Osprey around and around. She was panicking, her head dizzy not knowing which way was up or down.

Panic flooded in as Riverclan had flooded. Her body felt numb and her chest began to feel heavy. She was stuck. Unable to move at all. She felt like this was it. This was how she was going to die. The cold water was hard to keep out, rushing alongside her. She kept trying to fight, to find help. But her calls rang unanswered. She wished someone would come and save her already.
