The sun was high in the sky, leaving a comfortable warmth on the tabby’s back as he looked over the clan. Things had been fairly quiet as of late; not much trouble with other clans, though not much activity within the clan itself either. It didn’t specifically bother the cat; it was just… Strange, seeing his clan so awfully calm when usually it was filled with loudmouths who couldn’t stop screaming and running about. It was better than constant death and chaos, but… Eh.

So, it was time. Gingerfrost got off his hide and positioned himself in the centre of the clearing. He’d been planning this for a while now, and hoped it might help some of his fellow clanmates wake up from their winter-nap, much like he was starting to. Some fun activity might do the clan well, he had decided, and that’s why he was doing this at the detriment of his own rest; luckily, the river was calm today, so it was the perfect moment.

“RiverClan!”
He called, not quite caring if he woke anyone up. That was the point, after all.
“With the weather warming up, it seems like a good time for a simple swimming competition. Anyone wanting to participate – or just watch – follow me and line up by the river.”
With that said he waited a few moments, before heading to the river.

How this will work:
Ten checkpoints have been set along the river. A dice roll will determine whether your cat passes the checkpoint or not.

Even numbers: your cat passes the checkpoint!
Odd numbers: your cat remains stuck in place.

20: your cat passes two checkpoints!
0: your cat goes back to the previous checkpoint.

The first to arrive at the last (10th) checkpoint will be declared the winner!

This is open to competitors and watchers!

Apprentices: this will count towards your training requirements!
