Overview:
Spike is selectively mute, only ever speaking with those he knows very well, and even then it's rare to get a full sentence or two from him. He's a tactician at heart: he keeps everything marked in his mind, and in battle, takes advantage of anything he can and rules the battlefield, keeping an eagle eye on everything. He's very shy and insecure, with low self-esteem, and doesn't believe anyone when they say otherwise, often shocked when he receives compliments and praise. He's a gentle soul, unable to hurt others intentionally, but is harsh and cold when defending himself or those around him. He's on his way to becoming a master tactician, but still needs training. He's also very flexible, and believes hiding and running away from others is his specialty. He will occasionally play pranks when he's especially playful, but very rarely, and with those he knows, and will quickly apologize if they were hurt or offended. Spike is often seen with an expressionless face, but don't let that trick you into thinking he's cold: he just doesn't like to show his emotions too much. He's a kind tom who doesn't really speak, but actions speak louder than words, right?

BIO:
Kithood:
Spikekit was born the youngest of three siblings, along with his sister, Ebonykit, and his brother, Dewkit, to Palemist, a RiverClan queen, and Nightfoot, a ThunderClan warrior. It was love at first sight for the two, and were eager to get together, but the tensions of RiverClan and ThunderClan made it hard for them to do so. Still, they were ecstatic to have kids, and were eager to eventually leave the Clams with their kits to live together once they were old enough. However, their plans were ruined when Palemist died from greencough, leaving Nightfoot heartbroken and their kits without family. Feeling he needed to be there for his kits, he revealed himself as their father and moved to RiverClan to raise them. Spikekit was indifferent to him, while Dewkit was eager to meet his father, but Ebonykit was horrified. She was aware of the tensions and deeply hated ThunderClan, and was both horrified and disgusted that her father was a ThunderClan cat and refused to acknowledge him. As close as the siblings were, their father had torn them apart unintentionally. Spikekit was the runt, with Dewkit and Ebonykit defending him and playing with him often. However, after Nightfoot joined RiverClan, Ebonykit hated how quickly her brothers accepted him, and rarely spoke to them as a result. Dewkit was as jolly as ever, still playing with Spikekit often, but Spikekit believed that the rift in the family was his fault, destroying what little skill in socializing he had left and his self-esteem. Nightfoot was an excellent father to his sons, and tried to get along with Ebonykit, only to be insulted or ignored. Eventually, he drowned while out on patrol, and while Ebonykit seemed satisfied and eager to get along with her brothers, they shunned her and grieved for their father. Since then, Spikekit and Dewkit have remained close, and miss their sister, who treats them like strangers now, and Spikekit ended up becoming selectively mute because of it. Even after time had passes since Nightfoot's death, Spikekit and Dewkit's relationship with Ebonypaw was horrible, and while Dewkit resorted to being a jolly jellybean, Spikekit turned to strategies, using them and creating battle tactics to keep his mind of his hurt feelings. He slowly began to master the art of being a tactician, with Dewkit offering useless and weird insight, but has yet to master the art of socializing. He also often tries to distract himself from bullies' taunts of his heritage, and resorted to becoming a wallflower loner in the Clan. He became friends with Cloverkit and Goosekit, which unfortunately led to him being dragged into the latter's antics, even when he tried to mention they were bad ideas, but was still happy to go along. One time, Goosekit's mischief got him into a lot of trouble when, one day, he and Spikekit went to the river, as Goosekit wanted to try hunting, despite being very much unprepared. Given the rising water, Goosekit was soon swept away from the river, followed by Spikekit, who tried to rescue him and was swept as well, and Reedlight, who spotted them and dove in to save them. The trio were swept away and went missing before making their way back to camp, soaked and cold but happy to be back.
Loner:
Unfortunately, the duo eventually went missing again, this time just before becoming apprentices: they had been playing outside of camp, despite Spikekit's protests, and Goosekit was happily pretending to be leader when they were spotted by a hawk, who subsequently picked up Spikekit in its talons, with Goosekit jumping on in a desperate attempt to free his friend. After struggling in the air for a while, resulting in Spike getting scarred and partially blinded in his left eye and Goose getting his ear tattered and muzzle scarred, the duo were rescued by a black tabby she-cat who, upon hearing the commotion, immediately leapt up to rescue the two injured kits. The hawk dropped them and flew off, leaving Goosekit and Spikekit tumbling down the branches and the ground below, both unconscious. The tabby took them to her den and nursed them back to health and, when they awoke, their memories of the Clans were very faded, albeit still there, including their names, each other, and Spikekit missing his brother. The she-cat, never telling them her name, told them they were in the outskirts and, feeling sorry for the two, decided to train them on how to survive in the wild, without their Clans. Renaming them Goose and Spike, to better match loner names, the she-cat taught them how to fight and hunt, watching over them as they grew older and mastered the ways of living as loners. She even did her best to help Spike compensate for his partially blind eye now. Yet despite all the time they spent together, she never tried to be anything more than an acquaintance mentor to them, and never told them her name, always avoiding the question and focusing more on training them. Once Goose reached fourteen moons and Spike reached eighteen, the she-cat felt confident that they could fend for themselves and left, albeit it was a rather heartbreaking goodbye, even for her. Nevertheless, Goose and Spike continue to live in the outskirts, unable to fully remember their old lives… maybe they'll be able to remember them completely one day…
