Poised above the water, his bird neatly buried, Gingerfrost kept careful sight on the water as it gently rippled with the breeze. Fishing was such a lengthy task, in the tabby's opinion, though far calmer than hunting -- at least, until it got to the actual fishing part. For once actually concentrated on it, however, his muscles were somewhat tense as he fixed the water. Soon enough (and he wouldn't want it to have taken any longer), a fish appeared, calmly swimming about the water. His focus shifted to the fish, eyes following its precise movement until it got a little too close to the edge, and...

Splash.

Swiftly, Gingerfrost scooped the fish off the water, then pounded sideways to give it a quick, killing, bite. Just like that, the trout was his second catch and his fur only slightly wet from the splashing water. At least it was only superficial. He shook off the last few droplets before picking the trout up, and padding a little distance in order to unbury and retrieve his previously caught bird. That was two pieces; which wasn't the worst for a short patrol. Judging that enough time had passed, he returned to the agreed upon meeting are where, sure enough, both Silverstone and Ferretsnap had already arrived. His maw full with the pieces he was carrying, the tabby only gave a silent nod.
