The yelling around her was giving her a piercing headache. Stars. She felt little Briar press closer to her side, so Lilycreek draped her tail around Briarkit protectively, careful not to touch her injury. "Don't worry, little Briar," She said automatically. A sense of disgust bubbled inside of her. Antlerstreak should be doing this, not her. She had no problem with doing this, but Antlerstreka was not injured, nor did he make an attempt to visit his daughter after the attack.
"I want you to stay here, okay? Sit down. I'll see if I can find your father." She told the kit, giving her a pat on the head.
