RiverClan Re: (P) ~Locked away Princess~

PIKESTAR // @~Fawn.Heart~ ( this post is a tad messy, i apologize )

✧ As Pebblesplash recalled her tale of woe and reasoning to why she came out here, the tall dark-furred tomcat did a walk around of the box that she was trapped in, sniffing at the material and prodding certain parts of it with one paw. She had gone out to look for Birdpaw, his own daughter, something he should’ve been doing himself. Did that make this his fault? Pikestar’s ears flattened as that possibility overcame them for a few seconds, then promptly shook away any self-doubt in order to focus on the present. It didn’t matter the circumstances, no, the only thing that mattered now was that Pebblesplash and that he, Pikestar of RiverClan, was going to free her from this cruel prison. Still, he would never interupt her as the molly told the oriental longhair about the rancid twolegs that grabbed her and threw her into this awful torture box.

“Don’t worry, Pebblesplash, I’ll get you out of here.” He reassured blue-eyed tortie, “I promise you won’t be kept in here for much longer.” She was panicking and rightfully so, but she needed to trust him. Her situation with these terrible upwalkers reminded him of Beansprout, but this seemed far more drastic. Maybe it wasn’t, he didn’t know. But these twolegs that his clanmates were coming across where far from good. He remembered encountering some rude twolegs when he lived in the twolegplace with his parents, but they were never this bad. Or maybe their mother actually did a half-decent job in shielding him from such people. No matter, it would never make up for what she put her son through.

Licking his lips nervously, he hooked his claws into one side of the box and tugged, seeing how weak the material actually was. Unfortunately, it seemed to be tougher than the RiverClan leader would have assumed. Nonetheless, he did not give up, not for a single second. They would try again, digging their back paws into the dirt underneath him. Slowly, but surely, the sides of the box would creak and split, but Pikestar did not know for how long it would stay that way. “Now, Pebblesplash! Squeeze through! I don’t know how long I can hold it!” The Lord of the River commanded, hissing as the box dug painfully into his paw. No matter the stinging sensation, he kept it pried open so that the she-cat could escape.
