-Level Three use: Can extend and form more tendrils as offshoots of the original four on her back. She doesn't do this often, as it causes extreme strain on her body and is painful
-Level Four use: She has the ability to throw people/items far lengths with the tendrils and they can be used to pick up extremely heavy items

Appearance: Jasmine stands at about 6'2", 165 lbs. She has light brown skin, and paler splotches all over her body due to vitiligo. She has curly black hair with two white stripes. Her eyes are a very deep brown. She has a small baby bump. She has long, green, leafy tendrils that emerge from the skin of her back

Personality: Being the headstrong goofball she is, Jasmine finds herself in many predicaments. She has difficulty controlling her temper at times, and can get huffy if she struggles with something. Jasmine is witty and energetic, but also deals with ADHD, which can often leave her drained and overwhelmed, especially with her pregnancy.

Backstory:
[SPOILER]Jasmine Silvya Korey was born to a Gifted mother and a non-Gifted father. Her childhood was a bit difficult, especially with her own "Gift" as everyone else called it. Her mother, Katherine, was very strict and overbearing which made the young girl not want to be around her. Her father, Isiah, was her safe space to be. He didn't
understand fully her issues with being Gifted, but the man always listened to his daughter when she was upset and kept her mother from causing too much harm. Jasmine was bullied as a child in elementary school and found it difficult to trust people and have friends. Elementary school was only the beginning.

Once she was in middle school, Jasmine's parents divorced. Her mother remarried another Gifted woman, while her father stayed single. She was made to stay with her mother and stepmother, and hated it. Her stepmother, Zahra, was difficult to get along with and rude to the girl. This caused Jasmine to become very reclusive at school, and shutdown a lot. During this time, she met Daniel Elden, a boy one year older than her. The two became close, even best friends throughout middle school and into highschool. Highschool was easier for Jasmine. She gained control of her powers, moved in with her dad, and started dating Daniel in her sophomore year. The two were thick as thieves and still best friends.

Fast forward to her twenties, the now Jasmine Korey-Elden had become Mantis, the mischievous vigilante. She would often avoid The League, despite it most likely being better that she join them, but the headstrong woman refused. Her husband wasn't Gifted, but that didn't matter. Eventually, she became pregnant and the two couldn't be happier. When she was three months along, Daniel went missing. She's been searching for him since and has a few ideas as to where he is.[/SPOILER]
