As Berrypaw's paw slammed down on it's target, the speckled apprentice couldn't help but flinch at the contact. Harming cats was something she really had to get used to. As Frozenmarigold's paw shot out to trip her, Berrypaw stumbled a moment, but thankfully her assessor was no longer anywhere near her to inflict any damage. Rearing a few steps back on her own, the spotted damsel positioned herself momentarily infront of the sun, for when she leaped forward in an attempt to land squarely on Frozenmarigold's back, hopefully the sun would blind her opponent, even for a little while.

Frozenmarigold startled at finding the apprentice on her back but smiled "a quick one and a good thinker you are" she meowed before slamming down her body and shoulder to the ground to hopefully remove the cat from her back.
Frozen didn't mind it of coarse, but this was a battle training test of sorts, to see what the apprentice had learned from their mentor or mentors, she knew not the case was for berrypaw, but knew it was none of her business
