Reminder that these lessons are OPTIONAL!! You do not need them in order to be an apprentice!!

Hello! With the implementation of the new Kit Curriculums, the High Ranks of RiverClan wanted to set up one big stop and shop for all things lessons! Here you can request specific lessons and get groups set up with the specific teachers of the lessons. These will likely be done in small group roleplays either in the RiverClan specific Kit Burrow or private threads.

Despite the lessons being mainly for kits, apprentices and any outsiders who have recently joined are welcome and encouraged to sign up for any lessons. Because these are designed with training in mind, they will count as training instances for apprentices working towards their rank requirements! If an apprentices mentor feels as though they need to partake in specific lessons, they are welcome to sign them up on their behalf as well.

The lessons

 

This is a rundown of what every class may include.
If you have any suggestions, please pm me!

- Clan history

Anything and everything about RiverClan's history and past events. as a bonus, you may learn some things of other clans' history as well.

- Clan relations

A lesson covering the past and current relationships between the four clans, their current high ranks and important news.

- Clan etiquette

How to act around clanmates and strangers, how to best handle stressful situations, and how to act at gatherings and meetings.

- Warrior code

Anything and everything on the warrior code, what it is and what it means.

- Herbs and remedies

Some simple herbs for kittens to learn - what is taught is up to the teacher.

- Self defense

In this class you will learn about predators, how to avoid them and / or what to do, and some simple moves to best defend yourself is various situations.

- Basic hunting

Simple hunting techniques will be taught in this class, so you may get a head start on your training. Lessons about different prey and where you can best find them may be included at the teacher's discretion.

- Swimming

The first steps into deeper waters - this class will offer an actual swimming lesson. While not required, it is preferred there be one supervisor per four kits. This lesson is currently mandatory.

Important notes

 

- To keep things moving, classes should take around ten days to complete.

- Being an apprentice aid and / or partaking in classes will count towards an apprentice's training if done as an apprentice.
