“Oh, are you? Is there more of you that I’m not seeing?” They raised an eyebrow, whiskers once again twitching.
“Clovershine? Hm, can’t say I’ve spoken to them before. Maybe in passing, perhaps. Why aren’t you with Clovershine? Did they not give you a tour themself?” Flamecall asked, genuinely perplexed and a little upset at how negligent some mentors could be. Now, if Sagepaw were older, Flamecall might understand that the apprentice wasn’t Clovershine’s top priority, but this kid was a brand new apprentice, and he needed guidance!
