Snowypaw
Eyes on Breezerock, Snowypaw felt a mild chill course through him, forcing him to momentarily shudder. Shaking his fur, he couldn't help for once be grateful he had been born with such a usually bothersome pelt. True, the upkeep to avoid matting was more than he appreciated, but he certainly couldn't complain at how pleasantly warm it seemed to keep him in comparison to some of his shorter furred companions. A small grimace crossed the giant's face as he realized this probably meant he wouldn't be having a good time come greenleaf. Having been a kit with a coat that had not yet grown to its full length during his last greenleaf - and had already been favoring the cooler, darker corners of the nursery during the hotter moons - the patched apprentice was certainly not looking forward to keeping comfortable in his next one.
As for kits, a small, skittering pitter patter of paws caught Snowypaw's attention, his white ear swiveling lightly towards the source. Making a point not to move, the patched tom gave a discreet side glance, blue eyes quickly catching the small shadow he seemed to have acquired. Keeping quiet despite their shivering, Snowypaw couldn't help the small, sympathetic twitch of his whiskers as he noticed a kit - Dewkit, if he was not mistaken - keeping a respectful but close distance to him, the wind ruffling their soft, kit fuzz. Turning his gaze back towards Breezerock, Snowypaw twitched his tail in the air, using the feathery furred limb in an attempt to catch the kit's attention before setting it down besides him, curling it lightly in an unmistakable, furry nest. The gentle giant saw no harm in the kit attending the meeting - himself having been present to a few before his own apprenticeship - but preferred offering the kit a warmer solution to staying around the growing, cold, grumbling mass of cats around WindClan's leader. Having a kit with a chill in the midst of leaf-fall seemed no laughing matter to the quiet tom.
