As her cats all darted off in different directions, Dawnstar's eyes rested on Slytiger who didn't seem nearly as uncomfortable as Dawnstar felt in this vile place. She'd never understand how cats managed to live here, there were barely any trees, and she doubted any good prey. Disgusting. The huge feline scented the air, regretting the habit almost at once when all she picked up was wretched foreign scents that made the fur along her spine bristle. In the distance, she could hear the barking of the dog and it made her ears fall against her head. None of her clanmates would be stupid enough to mess with a dog without a patrol beside them, right?
The feline truly hated being overly concerned about her clanmates, even though she was normally rudely dismissive when it came to her clanmates' deaths, certain situations such as this one made her feel to an extent responsible for them.
"You know the territory far better than I would, you can lead, Flower." Dawnstar's bushy tail sweeps out in an exaggerated, mocking gesture, inviting the tom to go ahead of her.
"While we're here, do you know of anywhere twolegs might keep their herbs? I'm sure that Elmshadow and Ivysnake will be pleased with whatever is brought back."
Dawnstar hadn't a single clue how kittypets stayed healthy, but she had heard that twolegs keep gardens full of herbs. It made sense to her why twolegs would keep herbs near their dens, regardless of how safe kittypets were in their strange dens, injuries could still reach them. The twolegs much have something akin to a medicine cat here, and hopefully herbs nearby.
