Larkpaw's right ear twitched, and as Darkpaw turned to lock his blue gaze with her own amber one, she gave the other apprentice a small, barely susceptible nod, as if to tell him that she understood. Turning her attention briefly to the small tom-kit at her denmates side, Larkpaw found her eyebrows raising with mild surprise as Darkpaw referred to him as brother. She had not known Darkpaw had more siblings besides Fallenpaw, and if this one was here, there ought to be more.

Tucking that information away (as well as the intent to seek out Darkpaw's younger siblings in the future), Larkpaw went back to watching Dawnstar speak, and a pleased expression flitted over her face when she was assigned a new mentor. Hah, she was glad Foxshade was no longer in charge of her training. If he was too ashamed to even talk to her, a former loner, he didn't deserve to train her. ...Not that Lark was harboring any resentment...

The slim she-cat shook her head at her own thought process, and then craned her neck to look for the new cat who'd been assigned to her. Some warrior named Sorrelflare. See, even their name sounded cooler than Foxshade. Okay... She should definitely stop with the foul thoughts. Now, to just hope that this time, her mentor would actually approach her, instead of not even showing his face like last time.
