Blizzardwind looked down as Frecklepaw started to freak out. That was- yes, Wildsongs apprentice. Her mentor was a disgusting traitor and she still was grieving over his exile. An annoyed with emitted from the tom, but his attention was directed at Craneglide as she very shakily apologized. He nodded in her direction, even though she had no reason to apologize, if it set her mind at ease than it was all good.
Next, he caught what Littlepaw said softly below. She was young, and seemed to be more kindly and less severe. Maybe that's how he would've turned out had life not flipped him around and molded him differently.
"A punishment would have possibly been appropriate had this been a one time thing, but a couple different warriors have reported his disloyalty and idiocy being a multiple time thing. He didn't seem to do much to bring much but trouble to this Clan, and still slept in protection and warmth, with his belly
filled by his loyal Clanmate's hard work. As acting leader, I chose the option most appropriate for the good of the Clan with the information I was given. If Skystar objects to my methods of handling it, then he can take it up with me, because if it was truly a priority for him, he would have handled it himself."
Hopefully that would clear it up for her. He didn't want cats thinking he found exiling cats from their home as a form of fun. So Flickerpaw and Frecklepaw both needed new mentors, and he was close to speaking again when Cloudpaw spoke up. Kestrelstar's former apprentice, wasn't she? Blizzardsky's, too? Her words made his insides twist. If he was in a permanent leadership rank, not that he desired one in the least, he would come up with a punishment system for mentors who slacked or abandoned the clan. This was not okay.

"Cloudpaw... I hear you. I will personally take over your training, and I'll get you to warriorhood as soon as possible."
He attempted to meet the molly's sky hued gaze and give her a small, firm smile. He wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. And so help him, Cloudpaw would be a warrior under his mentorship. No matter what. Next, he looked down at Frecklepaw. She wouldn't want anyone who had spoken out against her mentor... But he didn't want to give her anyone who would be exiled soon.
"Frecklepaw ( @Cxndy_Fatal ), your new mentor will be Petuniafire ( @Summer Rose ). Petuniafire, I trust that you will pass on your knowledge and loyalty onto Frecklepaw." He cast a smile at the white molly. She was certainly ready for an apprentice, and would do a great job.
And finally, Flickerpaw ( @
xath ). He had a good warrior in mind for her.
"Stagfrost ( @Spotty ), you've proven yourself as a loyal and dedicated warrior, I trust that you will teach her all that you know and guide Flickerpaw in this final stretch to warriorhood." Flicking his tail in satisfaction, he paused briefly to let the newly assigned mentors find their apprentices.
