When Otterstorm's paw slipped, an internal war broke out inside Hazelstorm's head. Should she save Otterstorm by letting herself be crushed to save another - and possibly lose her own life in the process? Or should she move, and let Otterstorm die?

Hazelstorm probably should make her decision fast. If her parents had sacrificed themselves for her to live, should she do the same? Biting her lip, Hazelstorm dropped into a crouch sit, tucking her chin in and curling her tail around her slightly shivering body. Shutting her eyes tightly, she braced herself for the worst.
