"Shame..." Splotchpaw muttered sarcastically, his voice slightly muffled by his paw. He was admittedly a tad worried about his mentor-only a tad-but he seemed to be holding up just fine. Well, at least be seemed to be in a somewhat decent mood, even if he was still pretty much keeping to himself and not talking to others.
Speaking off, there were so many cats! Why?! Splotchpaw wasn't good at socializing with strangers: this was just torture, being surrounded by so many. The calico tom curled his tail around his paws, seemingly trying to shrink in an attempt to disappear and not have some stranger come up and want to talk to him.
