The new medicine cat followed closely behind Twilightstar, eyes round with awe while his gaze flickered about the clearing with curiosities. This would be Cowpaw's first gathering in his new role - and his first gathering in general. Truly an amazing thing and an honor but, if he had to confess, his heart was racing at the speed of thousands of rabbits. Meetings at Windclan were simple, he knew most of his clanmates by their prominent features or, maybe scent, mannerisms, so many things and even that tended to be overwhelming for him. He pauses, mouth dry. It was simple enough, gatherings seemed to be... multiple meetings at once, if that made enough sense?

His eyebrows furrow lightly together, a Windclan apprentice already arrived before them? That was dangerous, but well, at least he would give Tigerpaw the benefit that she did make it before them. Speaking of that, were they late? He couldn't tell, all the scents mashed together in an unpleasant manner.

Cowpaw lets out a squeak as Twilightstar leaves his side, a spark of betrayal in his eyes but nothing serious. Stars, how did everyone know where to go? Clearly others just had.. more experience, right, well, hm, hm, hm! Gee, his tongue clicks softly against the roof of his mouth and without a second fault he dives into the crowd. Which was to be regretted because he could smell the stench of blood. His floppy ears flattened against his skull, too loud for him to pick out any context but, really, Cowpaw just wanted to make sure this didn't go too awful. To the tom's luck, his nose almost hits gently against the shoulder of someone. Sniff, sniff.

Rockwing!!! A purr erupts from him, and he lifts a paw, panickily tapping against his brother's shoulder. He did his best to slow it down, but his words were rough but simply was along the lines of, I need a small favor! Do you mind,, showing me where Snakeheart is and... the others? I'm not - not sure what they look like but, I think Snakeheart has ... reddish, orange fur, ? Cowpaw explained, dipping his head in gratefulness. He could only hope Rockwing was able to gauge what he was referring to, he must've gone to more gatherings than him..? (Eep, wait, wait, does this mean he's going to meet Shadowclan's medicine cat, too?) [ @Naiad ]
