rookfire perked up when flytail called for attention. ah well he wasnt loud enough to really call it a call for attention, more like a firm talking to. still, the enforcer stood from where he'd been lingering to pad over to the middle of the clearing. flytail had been around for a while, rookfire didnt really know him, nor did he care. but any event hosted by a unfamiliar cat was worth checking out. he sat, striped tail wrapped around his pale paws with a scoff, if you think you dont need it, you probably do pretty rich of someone who barely did enough for rook to remember his name.
why would he announce his event now when it wouldnt be happening until dawn.

rookfire had something mean to say but kept it to himself for now. if he stopped acting like he was better than everyone else, maybe more cats would show interest in his event. for someone doing the bare minimum everything seemed to be a waste of time, but man this whole vague teasing of an event was a waste of his damn time.
