TW: Mentions of abuse, neglect, trauma, toxicity

Introduction:
Hey y’all! I have made a new outsider cat, he is a loner who doesn’t have a home and sleeps wherever he gets tired. I’ve been wanting to explore the complexities of trauma and toxic relationships with a character of mine. Juniper had a very bad upbringing and he has a twisted sense of love. You can read his backstory in his bio (bio linked in signature).

Info on Juniper:
Juniper is a wild Tortie cat, with orange, and white fur, as well as green eyes. He is very kind and affectionate, he says whatever’s on his mind, he’s always putting others before himself and is incredibly trusting. He is also very brave, always being ready to jump into action. His traits are outgoing, kind, protective, brave, and naive.


Plot:
 
While out searching for shelter, Juniper stumbles upon another cat. This cat allows him to share their shelter. Juniper, being the cat his is, rambles about how he’s essentially homeless and that he’s very lonely. The cat, who’s also lonely, sees this as opportunity to make a new friend. The two quickly become friends and embark on many adventures. This cat constantly gets Juniper and themselves in dangerous situations, even when Juniper sometimes advises them not to.

 
Juniper quickly starts falling for this cat and musters up the courage to confess their feelings. This cat, while sharing the same feelings but due to their own trauma, rejects Juniper and belittles his emotions. The cat avoids Juniper while Juniper continues to chase after them to fix their friendship, saying things like “We can still be friends” as Juniper fears abandonment. The cat quickly realizes that Juniper won’t leave them and that they don’t have to fear abandonment, so they finally confess their feelings for him too. The two quickly become close once more.

 
As their relationship progresses, the cat expresses their desire for kits but Juniper shuts the idea down (rather kindly), expressing his fear of becoming a parent. The cat lashes out, as this is their life-long dream, and becomes rather violent with Juniper. After a bit the cat runs off, Juniper does not chase them. Sometime later (more like days later), the cat comes back and apologizes. Juniper accepts and they share their affection threw cleaning each other’s fur. A while later, the cat announces they’re pregnant (or that they’ve adopted a kit, depending on the gender) and Juniper is left in shock. He has no idea how to react but he knows he can’t and won’t abandon them. After a small argument, Juniper obliges and allows the cat to stay. But Juniper views this as a form of betrayal, one that runs too deep.

What happens during and after Act 3 is all up to how the roleplays go.

Requirements:
- must be 15-18 moons old
- must be manipulative
- the cat has a desire to start a family
- the cat shares similar trauma
- gender doesn’t matter (June is pan)

Purr-sonality:
He can be huffy, and is quite untrustworthy. when you get to know him, though, he's crazy. in a .. good way. kinda. he can get himself into trouble without realizing, and he hates when people look down upon him. he has anger issues, and it takes a bit to keep him from clawing at someone. he can be sweet and soft at times, but likes to keep his tough demeanor.

Griffin was just hanging out in his den, when he noticed the scent of a cat, that cat being, Junie boy. At first, he absolutely hates him. just being out in the cold!? Where was this cats home, anyways?? After a while, though, the two start getting closer. Griffin talks Juniper's ears off, yapping anytime he could, and starts to get some.. unknown feeling. he couldn't put his paw on it. but something about Juniper.. made him feel different. he didn't like this new feeling, and decided to keep it to himself. but.. when Juniper says what he felt.. he denied it. he strayed a bit, before finally getting the guts to say his own feelings, when, he finds a kit. the poor guy/girl was so sad... he knew Juniper had told him no.. but.. he couldn't resist the poor baby. he brought the babe back to the den, though he was nervous about when June would come back. when Juniper came home, Griff nervously argued about keeping the kit, and how the poor thing was out in the cold, and June eventually said yeah, but.. something still didn't feel right..
