Slowly making his way into the clearing, Hawkblaze leaned back into a stretch, his muscled form rippling under his brown striped pelt. Looking at the sky, he realized it was approaching sunhigh. He squinted for a moment, trying to remember something. He felt like he had an important task today, but couldn't remember what...
Then it hit him.
Oh rabbit droppings...
Padding to the apprentice's den, he stuck his face into the opening and called out.
"Tigerpaw! Get up! Time for training!" He grumbled before sitting back on his haunches. Of course, he had forgotten to take out his apprentice. Hell, he forgot he had an apprentice. Responsibility wasn't exactly his forte.

Nodding to the apprentice, he stood. "Alright then, tell me what you know," he said, turning to lead the way towards the camp entrance. If he had any hope of training an apprentice, he had to know where to begin.

Narrowing his gaze, Hawkblaze thought for a moment. "So you've not been in a battle yet, and you've patrolled the borders but not the territory. What have you done battle wise? And you've been to gatherings, correct?" He questioned, thinking over all the possible tasks he might have to perform.
Maybe this won't be too hard after all. She seems farther along in training than I expected.

Stifling a sigh, he nodded to the apprentice. "And I assume you know how to hunt, yes?" He inquired, lifting a paw to clean it. He thought about the things he went through to become a warrior, making a sort of mental list.

Brow furrowing in thought, he stood and turned to the camp entrance. "So you haven't had any formal hunting training?" He inquired as he waved his tail to signal for Tigerpaw to follow.
