Pestering The Meddie [private]
Rook
__________
On a particularly dull day, Rook found himself wandering towards WindClan territory once more. Not a surprise at this point, really. Whether it was an intentional search for his newfound friend or a subconscious draw, it didn't really matter. What did matter was he found himself creeping around the outside edge of the WindClan camp and hoping to the stars that he wouldn't get caught by some wound-up-too-tight warrior. The brambles and heather that surrounded the camp didn't give him much of a view inside but he was utterly overwhelmed by the sheer amount of scents - fresh and stale - that hung in the area. How did they all bear it? Was it just a matter of getting up to it? The young tom got so caught in his own thoughts that he didn't pay much attention to his surroundings, leaving the perfect opportunity for someone to walk up or for him to bump into someone making their way out into the territory. Perhaps someone off to collect some herbs?

Re: Pestering The Meddie [private]
How could one be doing next to nothing during the day and be so so so very tired? It seemed improbable and sad almost. What was wrong with him? The tabby medicine cat marched out into the territory, eye bags dragging down his cheeks and a slight dusting of mist covering his fur. It had rained last night and mildew still rested pleasantly on plants. So naturally as he passed through them it collected. He almost liked it in a sense, it cooled him down enough to be in an ok state of mind. He wouldn’t stand still because the water would settle and sink into his fur, it gave him motivation to keep walking. Yeah.. that.
Coyotesnarl was making his way down the hill when he saw out of the corner of his eye something- more like someone who looked all too familiar. Rook. The name after a few tries had been burned into his brain at last. It only took like what? A billion tries. “Stars how am I so lucky to keep running into you?” He spoke standing up on the hillside glancing down at him. He was starting to think rook sat around all day and waited for him.

"So very lucky, indeed." he replied with a grin, padding over to close the distance between them, "Or perhaps I'm the lucky one? Pretty sure any of those warriors of yours would have clawed my ears off by now but instead I've run into my favorite... med cat, was it? Still don't know what that means but it's fine!" He definitely hadn't been waiting around for Coyote [okay, maybe a little bit] but it was certainly a bonus to his day! He didn't seem to mind the mist and mildew, the droplets of water clinging to his own black and white pelt and soaking him just about up his legs and dripping off in places. He was used to adverse conditions - you had to be when you traveled all the time and you weren't quite sure where your next nest would be.
"Where are we off to today, grumpy guts?"
