Smells like 'paw spirit

Seapaw yawned a little yawn, slowly exiting the apprentice den. It was still pretty early, but the sun's light had woken it - he supposed the nights were shorter in newleaf. Someone had told him that. The sun was bright, though, a little stingy in their eyes this early. They sat, lifting a paw to rub their eyes as they adjusted to the light. It wasn't too warm, but it was a nice amount of warm. A nice breeze ruffled their fur, as the sun beat down. They reckoned they'd grab a bite to eat, then they'd pester a warrior to take them out somewhere. They weren't sure they felt like lazing about camp all day today - though they'd like to laze out in territory, it wasn't really an option, since apprentices were expected to have a warrior with them. They sighed. Not long now.

The delicious scent of the kill pile called out to them, and they padded over, selecting a tasty looking minnow. This would be nice. He looked about the clearing for a friend to eat with, but few cats were about. Probably off training with their mentors. So, he found a little sunny spot in front of the camp's tiny stream. This would be yummy!

WE'LL BUILD A FIRE IN YOUR EYES

SALAMANDERPAW . 13 MOONS . SHE/HER . RIVERCLAN

Little brown eartips spotted!! Salamanderpaw almost of a mind to march on over and celebrate Seapaw being up and out of their nest uncharacteristically early, but she stifles that urge. What kind of babykitten needs a congarulations for waking up? Not the kind of babykitten she's kin with. They're tougher folk than that. Still, spying Seapaw puts her in a mood. A 'stomp on the things you love' kind of mood. She can't help it. All the things that Salamanderpaw holds dear will inevitably come out of it with teethmarks on them.

Her colorful, bushy tail juts right up as big paws stomp over the sand. There's a stinging, still, in the side of her neck, the side of her head, all the places that'd been bitten open or bitten off. Soreness like she's never really felt before. It feels like a very grown-up kind of pain. Something that connects her to real warriorhood. In an odd way, she thinks she might even be sad when it subsides.

"SEA—" she rears up, "—PAW!" And down, forepaws whapping the sand by where her sibling's settled down for breakfast (a mild wince, there; who knew neck muscles felt so much of what the rest of your body does?). "Stars almighty I haven't seen you awake in forever. Did you grow a few more spots when I wasn't looking? What are those? Where'd those come from?" And here comes one of those bothering paws, darting out to try and nudge-nudge-nudge at Seapaw's side, pointing out the spots she's '''never''' seen before.

"What else have you been up to? What are you hiding??"
