Dead, for a ducat, dead! [p]
Blood was usually accompanied by the sight of Spiderthroat drenched in his own. To see someone else bearing it, for much different reasons, was both a relief and an irritation. Hadn't she told Treetiger to take care of someone very specific? This pelt didn't belong to Foxstep. Bumblestar slipped out of her den and met the "gift" with a scrunched muzzle. "I told you I wanted his body. Not some random outsider's skin." She was well aware of ShadowClan's supposed pelt-keeping habits and she wasn't keen on mimicking them in any capacity. Not that she cared about the outsider's death, or whether or not they had even been a threat - it was just this that was grossing her out. An aggravated twitch of her tail. "Guess it can't be helped if you couldn't find him... do you plan on doing anything with this or are you leaving it up to me to find a use?" |

https://warriorcatsonline.com/forums...ictureid=54784 [Treetiger] | Entity ThunderClan Warrior | ThunderClan Entity Silver Tongue T1 | Monkey's Paw [active] | Worldweaver T2 | Nightmare Fuel T2 Treetiger was offended by the remark on her offering. Her ears pinned back momentarily but she took the scolding with grace -- given the circumstances. Her eyes bore into the pelt on the ground, tail twitching with irritation. "I simply wasn't going to return empty-pawed," was the only comment Bumblestar would receive on the first part of the interaction. UNGRATEFUL. It howled, digging claws into Treetiger's shoulders. There was scarring beginning to form there. It was unnatural with how the fur parted on her shoulders, but to the unaware, wind could be assumed the cause of it. Perhaps a weird grooming session. SHE DIDN'T CARE. Treetiger would then hook a claw into the pelt, dragging it back towards her and finally lifting her gaze up to Bumblestar. "I'll dispose of it, but wanted to provide proof we tried," curt. UNGRATEFUL. The trance she was in had been ripped away by the clearly disturbed leader. Not even a thank you for trying. No thank you for the report. Just anger and distrust. Orders. There was no relationship to be had here, Treetiger was sure of it now. It was silly to think telling her to kill was a possibility for redemption... but she was naive. "I'll try again later... it's obvious he never went very far..." @dino. - Bumblestar |

"Just a report would've been proof enough." Bumblestar's torn ear twitched. Treetiger wasn't like some warriors she could name. The she-cat was capable, trustworthy. If she said she hadn't found anything, that'd have been proof enough.
She took a careful step back from the pelt as Treetiger dragged it away. "Do what you will with it. Just keep it outta camp. Don't need any kits having a run-in with it." A simple bob of her head. "You wanna try again, be my guest. Just... if you come up unsuccessful next time, 'n don't wanna return without anything, try for prey or herbs, not somethin' so..." She didn't really have the word for it, so she just let the sentence trail off. "If that's all, you can go. Appreciate you roundin' cats up to look. You go out again, take me with you." If they found him that time, she'd like the chance to kill him herself. [ @SuspiciousMindz ] |
