Tiger’s Fog [p]

He is slightly shaking, and nearly tumbles into a little kit, but manages to keep upright. Finally, Fogkit exists the nursery, as quiet as can be. As soon as Fogkit enters the open air he relaxes, and his quivering ceases. His eyes flutter closed as he embraces the cold air, but after a few moments, a vivid image of Tulipkit impaled on a charred tree plays over his eyelids and he snaps them open. Fogkit has to shake his head and focus on the stars above him to stop thinking about it. With a jolt, Fogkit remembers he’s in the open and begins to search for a spot he can hide without being seen. |

https://warriorcatsonline.com/forums...ictureid=51260 Slytiger couldn't sleep. He also wanted to snuggle Dawn, but if she was asleep he didn't want to wake her up. And if she was awake she would probably bodily throw him out of her den. Ugh. After a long stretch the Toyger hoisted himself out of his nest and silently padded out of the warriors' den, careful not to step on his Clanmates tails. His eyes adjusted to the darkness easily, but a flash of white caught his attention quickly. Fogkit! Slytiger makes his way over, purposefully shuffling on the ground a bit to make noise so he doesn't startle his son. "Fogkit, you're up late," he murmurs as he gets closer, beckoning Fogkit with a flick of his tail in case they want to take refuge underneath him. "Couldn't sleep?" @MangofDoom |

Slytiger? What are they doing awake? He looks up at the warrior and hesitates. Well, it is sorta cold… and he could pretty easily get to a safe spot if there’s danger… Fogkit sits beside Slytiger, leaning into him. ”I, uh. I had a bad dream.” Fogkit lowers his ears, trying to dispel the images of the dream from his head, and stop himself from shaking. He shakes so much, since he was a kit, maybe he should ask Lostspark about that. |

Instead, he purrs softly when his kit leans into him and curls his tail around them. Slytiger was glad Fogkit seemed to trust him well enough despite what he had gone through in RiverClan. "Do you want to talk about it? Or do you want me to tell you a story to take your mind off it?" Slytiger questions, leaning down to gently run his tongue between Fogkit's ears in a soothing gesture when he notices the slight shaking. @MangofDoom |

He does want to talk about it, to be honest. It’s been so long since he’s had a dream besides this one… ”Maybe later. What’s the story?” Fogkit asks, wondering if it’s about Dawnstar. He’s only heard snippets about her, and he wants the full story. |
