Rattail: He/Him Rattail slowly got up from his nest, looking over at the entrance hearing some shuffling from it. Spotting the small apprentice he smiled over to her, carefully making his way out without bothering any other warriors in the den He leaned down slowly to touch noses with Squirrelpaw, but didnt force it, just sat there with his nose within reach as more of an option "Good morning, its not often that apprentices are up before their mentor" He chuckled softly but with no ill meaning "Good job" His posture was completely relaxed and calm, if a little sleepy (sorry its a little short ehe, still waking up a bit but wanted to get this started!) |

He started to watch her body language before she spoke. Shes super anxious, more so then normal for meeting your mentor, she'll need time to be comfortable. We can start with something simple to ease her into it, we can work on the fear later down the line. He gave her a soft smile, seeming to be more awake now, shaking the chill out of his pelt "Its a bit chilly so moving around is our best bet, lets go for a tour of the territory okay? simple and if we start there itll be easier for you later down the line if you have any patrols" He spoke softly, but clearly enough that the molly could hear him. i dont want her to feel intimidated by training, it should be something she can enjoy not dread. hopefully i can ease into gaining her trust, ill be able to help her the most if shes not always worried about messing up,,, other cats may be to harsh with her. He mentally sighed sadly, not daring to do so outloud and scare Squirrelpaw. |

He leads her out of the camp, heading for sunkissed creek first. Laying his tail on her back softly he attempts to give her something that she can maybe use to focus on instead of her mind "Is there anything about you that you would like me to know? no pressure, but if you have anything you wish to learn first, or something youre worried about i can try to help you as much as i can. As your mentor ill always be here for you, if you need anything" |

You can always tell me if you wish to prioritize any aspect of your training at any point." He padded up to the creek, looking down at it for a moment "This is sunkissed creek, it usually tends to be quiet around here. If youre looking for prey you can find water voles near the bank and if you feel like getting a little wet then if youre lucky you can find a minnow or two in the creek itself." He turned to look at her, motioning his head for her to join him near the edge of the water "Although if you wish to learn how to actually fish youll have to find someone else for that im afraid. Personally im better of dry and on solid ground" He chuckled softly to himself before continuing "I find its easy to get some rest away from everyone out here. Good to clear the thoughts and calm down" I wanted to show her here first, maybe give her somewhere away from camp she can feel at ease. He smiled softly |
