Marshpaw yawned, getting to her paws as she saw her mentor, eager for the day ahead. She stretched before padding over, mind racing through what they might be doing today.

Martenburr smiled "Today we'll start with a territory tour, as its important to know the territory so one doesn't get lost" He meowed nodding his head towards the entrance before turning and paddling that way

Marshpaw nodded, not hesitating to slip into the water, although her ears did prick in surprise as the cold seeped into her fur. She continued after her mentor nonetheless, excited to see what the new day would bring as she swam steadily, letting her paws carry herself forwards.

Careful not to let the apprentice out of his sight he slowed down to keep pace with her. "anywhere specific you've been itchy to see? i know lots of action happens so theres bound to be history to every place we go to"

"Can you show me your favorite spot?" Marshpaw suggested, hoping to get a better insight into her mentor's thinking. "Whatever you think is the most interesting sounds perfect to me!!" She kept pace with Marten better now that their pace was slower, and relaxed her muscles, swimming more easily.

"hmm... i do think Haven Springs is the Place to be, So how about we go there? after that i want to show you the borders" Martenburr meowed

"That would be perfect!" Marshpaw purred, glad that her mentor could go along with her slightly odd antics. "Sounds amazing!" She's truly grateful to have ended up with a cat that seems to understand her more than most.
