WindClan Patrols
This is set below the Galewood. Beneath the tree is where patrols are sent out by the deputy. Mention the roleplayer who assigned the patrol when reporting as well as the other members of the patrol. |

PATROLS ARE DUE JUNE 12th BY 11:59 PM EST If you need an extension, let me know before the deadline If you need to be replaced, let me know within two (2) days Hunting patrols, have your character place their catch on the fresh-kill pile before reporting, or your character will be punished ╔══════ ❀•°❀°•❀ ══════╗ Fallownose ╚══════ ❀•°❀°•❀ ══════╝ The deputy made his way below the Galewood to send out patrols. It still felt weird, being in this new place, but he would get used to eventually. They all would. "Alright everyone, listen up for your name as I assign patrols!" [Optional Prompt: The breeze whirls the ash and you can see sprouts of new growth!] "Cliffjumper [ @Octavia! ], lead the patrol to the ThunderClan Border. Take Rabbiteye [ @~LeafRabbit~ ] and Leopardpaw [ @absles ] with you." [Optional Prompt: The closer to the border you get, the more you notice bugs buzzing about. It seems like new-leaf is in full swing!] "Ashclaw [ @Queen_Coral ], take Pignut [ @Ravensong ], Firepaw [ @Darkclaws ], and Milkpaw [ @Wingnettle ] to mark the ShadowClan Border." [Required Prompt: Start war!] "I'll lead the patrol to the RiverClan Border. Wheattail [ @|~SkzStayForever~| ], Peachfrost [ @Poprock ] and Cardinalpaw [ @carmen ], you three will accompany me." [Optional Prompt: The sun is out and you're starting to feel the new-leaf heat! With nowhere to shelter, you start to become fatigued] "Leechscar [ @Undertaker ], hunt in the territory with Crowflutter [ @perseus. ] and Moorpaw [ @Abyssopelagic ]." Fallownose figured that sending three bigger hunting patrols to the known landmarks was better than having them explore new territory before Twilightstar had the chance to announce where the markers were. [Optional Prompt: Buzzards circle overhead. Do you try to find what they're circling or leave them be?] "Mousefern [ @Omari ], take Dapplebreeze [ @Alchemist Kitsune ] and Goldenpaw [ @ameko ] hunting at Windy Hills." [Optional Prompt: You find a rabbit, but it seems sick! Do you try to catch it or do you leave it alone?] "Dreamlight [ @Moonraven ], lead a hunting patrol to the Sky Glade. Moonwhisker [ @Pangoligon ] and Slatepaw [ @SuspiciousMindz ] will accompany you." With his orders given, Fallownose waited for the members he had called to join him for the patrol to the RiverClan border. |

Moorpaw bounced her way over to the deputy as her name was called. She looked for Crowflutter and Leechscar with a tinge of anxiety when she heard a second name that made her whip her head around. Dapplebreeze was going to be on a different patrol? Her tail drooped and she had to resist the urge to pout and stomp her paw in displeasure. Mmmmaybe she could get away with asking Fallownose if she could be swapped with a member of Dapplebreeze's patrol? Well, Leech and Crow weren't around.... She.... decided against it, not wanting to cause unnecessary conflict just because she wanted to be on a patrol with her mentor instead. But there was no helping the sad little puppy eyes she gave the warrior from where she sat. [ @Undertaker ; @perseus. ; @Alchemist Kitsune ] |

Leopardpaw He had finally gotten the chance to sleep in his new nest underneath the gorse bush, until the voice of Fallownose rang through the new camp. Blinking away the sleep and stifling a yawn, the black and white apprentice slowly rose to his paws, stretching. Crawling out from under the bush, he padded up to the Galewood where Cliffjumper was already waiting for their patrol. Leopardpaw dipped his head in greeting. "Ready when you are!" The tom took a deep breath and let it out, it wouldn't be bad. how bad could it be? The tom began looking around while panicking mentally inside his big body. Oh yes just another day of being yelled at probably by firepaw and milkpaw, Really how bad could it be hehe. What a horrible relationship they have between each other, nothing like a patrol that can probably worsen the relation. [ Rip ashclaw I hope a fight doesn't erupt during the patrol] |

Crowcry was in the middle of cleaning his paw when they heard its name being called up for a patrol. Oh? A patrol with the deputy? How fun. Mousefern Windclan She/her The pale, cream coloured molly trilled at the sound of her name. She was leading a hunting patrol? Lovely! She stood up from where she had been sitting, instead padding over to the camp's exit, seating herself there instead to wait for the rest of her patrol-mates. She could still feel it. The soot and muck clinging to her fur. Just like it had the day she'd lost both her remaining kits. No bodies had been found, giving her the slightest glimmer of hope that perhaps she would see Bravebird and Ryepaw once more, but such humors with in short supply for her. Work and focus on the clan were the only things keeping her mind at rest. She needed to be strong. Both for the clan's sake as well as her lovely apprentice. No time to set out was given, however, as Fallownose's voice rang through the clearing, her name among those called. It seemed it was time for patrols, and once more she was to head out for one. Not that she could complain. It was quite frankly what she'd been about to do herself. It would be much more enjoyable to go out hunting with some clanmates, truthfully. Especially if she didn't have to keep focus on leading the patrol herself. Her one regret was to not be joined by her darling Moorpaw despite the dusky molly being in a patrol herself. A hunting one, at that! Still, she supposed it would be good for her charge to familiarize herself more with the rest of the warriors she would be joining some day! Noticing the flame point's arrival at the same time as she saw her apprentice blinking sorrowfully at her, the former queen gave a small smile. It seemed she was not the only one who was regretting this unfortunate separation. Heading towards the younger molly, Dapplebreeze attempted to lick her affectionately on the head. She had every trust that Moorpaw would do splendidly on her patrol. It was only a shame she would not be there to see her hunting in better conditions. "We'll catch up later, my darling. Do tell me how your patrol went when you get back? We could share some prey as well," Dapplebreeze promised, blinking encouragingly at the apprentice before turning around to join her own patrol. Nodding in a friendly greeting at the flame point, the patched warrior sat down, curling her thick tail around her paws as they waited for the apprentice to join them. "It is a good day for hunting. Stars willing, we should bring quite the bounty for the clan," she purred, looking forward to stretching her legs out in these new prairies they called home. - @Omari [Mousefern] | @ameko [Goldenpaw] | @Abyssopelagic [Moorpaw] |

@Lillian @carmen @xaiver. Peachfrost was still sore from the previous battle. While Lightningpaw had done an excellent job in healing her wounds, the aches and pains were still there. Hopefully the Riverclan border would be nice and quiet today. Peachfrost didn't need another fight. Not until she was in tip top shape once again. "They've been pretty quiet over there since our move." She commented as they waited for their final member to arrive. "I wonder if somethings up with the fish." |

@Abyssopelagic @perseus. At the summons for patrols, Leechscar left the warriors' den, shaking out his pelt to knock free the heather that was clinging to him. He would never understand why his mother had chosen a patch of heather to serve as the warriors' den. He reeked of the plant. The giant gray tom swung his large crown around until he located Moorpaw who was already waiting for them. Quick apprentice, although noticing how the paw was staring in the direction of her mentor, Leechscar scoffs softly under his breath. He's never had this sense of attachment to his mentor nor did he think any of his former apprentice had one with him before they were all taken from him one way or another. He had no clue what type of bond Moorpaw and Dapplebreeze must have built to look so depressed at the prospect of being in separate patrols. It almost made him envious. "You'll be back to her before you can miss her." Leechscar yawned, padding up to Moorpaw's side. He was hoping he wasn't going to get a moody, grumpy, apprentice while hunting because she couldn't go with her mentor. He didn't think Moorpaw was the spoiled sort, but looks could be deceiving. "We'll wait a bit longer for Crowflutter, and then head out without her." |

Crowflutter had been resting as the nightmares from the fire still haunted them but them jumped when they heard their name being called they hummed as they blinked before standing up and walking over to Moorpaw and Leechscar, "I'm ready when you are." her voice quiet

A purr of contentment escaped the gentle giant as he took a deep breath, enjoying the feel of the grass beneath his fur. It was a pleasant change from the warmer days they had been having, even as he shed the voluminous mane of fur he'd acquired during the cooler moons of leaf-fall and leafbare. Thoughts lost as he contemplated the day's small wonders, movement at his peripheral caught his attention, a small, timid smile gracing his lips as he saw who it was approaching him. Lifting himself to a sitting position, Snowybreeze dipped his head respectfully at the medicine cat, making a point to look attentively at him as he offered a curious head tilt. Focusing on the gestures Cowtuft offered, Snowybreeze's nose wrinkled in concentration, careful as he deduced the meaning behind his signs. The young warrior was not completely fluent in the silent language the medicine cat preferred, but between his own preference for silence and body language being a heartwarming, safe zone for him and his observant nature, he'd been able to pick up enough to understand the black and white tom now. With a nod, the maine coon mix stood, stretching his limbs before speaking softly, more so a means to ensure he'd properly understood than small talk, but it was always nice speaking to the kind hearted medicine cat regardless. "Burnet. Green colored. Leaves. May also. Have. Spiky flowers. Purple. In color. And. Dandelions. Golden. And fluffy. I would. Be happy. To search. For them. I'll gather. Silentleap. And Goldenpaw. Now." Ensuring his understanding of the instructions had been correct, the patched tom offered another respectful dip of his head before proceeding to search for the other two. It was such a nice, cool day. The perfect day to search for herbs, honestly. Hopefully his clanmates agreed. He really would hate to have to drag them out against their will. No. Scratch that. He probably wouldn't be able to drag them out against their will. But no, no. He was worrying too much. Silentleap and Goldenpaw were lovely, as far as he'd heard. Moorpaw accepted the affection from her mentor, a soft purr emanating from her chest, even after Dapplebreeze had gone to join her patrol. However, once she'd noticed Leechscar at her side, her contented purring cut off abruptly as embarrassment flooded through her. She lapped at her paw and rubbed it against her face, just so she didn't have to look at the warrior and acknowledge that he'd seen her during such a moment, hoping he wouldn't bring it up..... But he did. She sighed, tail nervously tapping the ground. However, there did not seem to be scorn in his voice, and his words were a bit of a comfort to her. "I didn't mean to seem unhappy with the patrol arrangemens. She's been.... a stability for me during recent events and I'd gotten used to being at her side." She gave Leechscar a strained smile. "Thank you, though. For understanding." Soon, though, Crowflutter was joining the group and she stood up, ready to get going, but waited for the patrol leader to give the okay. Her tail curled a bit, a new excitement running through her to get a chance to explore some of the new territory. [ @Undertaker ; @perseus. ] |

Her eyes were wide with anxiety since her mentor wasn't in this patrol, but she would make it work. She had to learn to be self-sufficient, right? "I- I'm ready when you are," she spoke softly. |

At the sound of patrols being called, Goldenpaw lifted his head up and looked around to see if he could spot his patrolmates. Stomach churning with a sudden bolt of apprehension, he stood and made his way over to two warriors before he could even entertain the thought of staying behind. - Goldenpaw had been watching Cowtuft approach different cats in the clearing, a thoughtful frown on his face. He'd had little experience with the gestures that the medicine cat used, but if this was about herb patrols then he felt it'd be best to pay attention, just in case he accidentally missed something. Mousefern Windclan She/her Mousefern smiled up at the cream-coloured molly as she approached, dipping her head in greeting. “Of course, we will–After all that’s been going on, it’s nice to get back to a sense of normalcy, as well.” Although she wasn’t quite used to their new camp, it still felt like home–a new home that she had to get used to, but still, home nonetheless. “Goldenpaw!” She greeted the apprentice cheerfully. They hadn’t interacted much, but she could imagine that he was feeling a bit anxious about going on this patrol. Both Mousefern and Dapplebreeze were kind, though, so he had nothing to worry about, and she wanted to show him that! “We’re all here, so let’s head out!” [ @Alchemist Kitsune - Dapplebreeze, @ameko - Goldenpaw. What in the world had she done to make Fallownose think she was responsible enough to lead a patrol? Dreamlight swiftly got to her paws at the call of her name. Oddly enough, she was pretty certain this was her first being called for an official patrol since she's been a paw. And of course, she was leading it. The small, pudgy, lilac-gray she-cat quickly made her way over to her patrol mates, noting that she was the last to arrive. Great impression. "Awesome, we're all here. Let's head out then, Slatepaw, stay close please." She adds, picking on the clear anxiety that the apprentice was portraying. Dreamlight inwardly felt exactly the same as the apprentice, but she channeled her inner Twilightstar and prayed that this patrol wouldn't be a disaster. Or worse she gets them lost. The warrior leads them out of the camp and into just going to have to swiftly learn how to navigate. @Pangoligon [Moonwhisker] @SuspiciousMindz [Slatepaw] |

Cardinalpaw They chortled as they appeared, showing up not long after Peachfrost. They flicked their tail as they arrived, a sort of hello before turning to look towards the territory. She wouldn't leave until the older ones had, but she much preferred being out of camp than being stuck within it's walls. @Lillian @Poprock |

Slightpoppy The diluted calico stood up, looking around. Slightly annoyed, she turned to Halfpaw. "Well, we can't just sit around here all day. Let's get going so we can return before dark" She decided before heading out, hoping Halfpaw would follow her. She didn't like having to leave without Smokethroat, but they couldn't wait around forever. If he decided to show up he could catch up with them at Twilight Falls. It wasn't that he minded the company! Stars no! He loved the company. And Silentleap and Goldenpaw were both wonderful clanmates. He just... didn't feel very good about ordering others around, and it felt like a lot of a patrol leader's job was to order others around. It wasn't, he knew. He just had to make sure everything was done right. But there were such better cats for the job! No matter, however! The patrol had gone without a hitch. With only one hitch. A few hitches. Look, he tried his best, and they brought the herbs! He was blessed to have been paired with such patient, kind hearted clanmates. StarClan knew if it hadn't been for them he would have just kept making mistake after mistake on his own. A wave of embarrassment crossed through him at the thought, but he quickly shook it off as he entered the clan's new camp - he would need to get used to the flowery, grassy place they now called home - and rushed to find one of the medicine cats, flicking his tail at his companions for them to follow. The herbs would not be any use to the healers unless they were handed to them, after all. "Cowtuft. Here. We have. Found. A good. Amount. Of herbs," he whispered in a clipped, still self-conscious voice once he had deposited the bundle of herbs before the black and white tom, stepping back a little to ensure the others could deposit their find as well. - @x ghostie [Cowtuft] | @RunningInTheHeather [Silentleap] | @ameko [Goldenpaw] |
