Goldenstar laughed. “Yes you are!” He agreed, his eyes lit up with pride. “You’re doing good,” he said, smiling the whole time. As he saw Nightpaw’s face turn more concerned, he quickly shook his head. “I’m fine,” he said, “You just knocked the wind out of me,” he laughed. To be honest, he had forgotten about the pain in his side. “Do you want to try one more time?” He asked, even though he knew the apprentince was already doing pretty good. |

Goldenstar resisted the urge to laugh, before lunging at the She-cat for the last time. He landed a little awkwardly, which made his side hurt quite a bit, but he ignored it, as Now wasn’t really the time to complain about those kinds of things. |

Goldenstar waited, having pinned the apprentince down. He felt her paws on his stomach, and, at first, he was very confused. Before he realized that her claws were sheathed, so he wasn’t going to feel anything. However, if she had her claws unsheathed, he could only imagine the pain he would be in. Rolling off the apprentince, he turned to face her with his eyes lit up. “That was awesome!” He said excitedly, a giant smile on his face. He was proud of her, that was for sure. “Now, do you want to practice something else or call it a day?” He asked, shaking his fur to get a few pine needles out of it, looking at the apprentince proudly. |

Goldenstar was waiting to see what the She-cat said. It could be anything to be honest, however, he didn’t want to finish the training session yet. For that reason, he was slightly relieved when she said that she wanted to find some way to avoid getting knocked over. “There’s always dodging,” he said, “You lunge out of the way then counter with your own attack.” He added, trying to describe the ideas in his head the best way possible. He was glad that his apprentince was excited to learn, as he knew some mentors had the hardest time getting their apprentinces out of the camp in the first place. |

Ivorypaw purred at seeing his happy expression. "How much moss do we need?" She asked curiously. |

Goldenstar nodded. He barely heard the apprentince repeat what he had said, but he didn’t care. It was nice to have a small confirmation that she understood however. He nodded, before he lunged at the apprentince, trying not to hit her, for the fear that he might hurt her if he did. |

Goldenstar was proud that Nightpaw had lunged out of the way, and he spun around a moment later. However, halfway through going past the apprentince, he felt her paw go along his side, and he flinched. His wound. He had forgotten about that. The stinging pain took over his body for a minute, before it faded away, and he was looking at Nightpaw again. “Good job getting out of the way!” He said, smiling. “However, we’ll need to work on that attack” he added, trying to ignore the pain in his side, as dull as it was. |

Goldenstar smiled. It was nice to know that the apprentince cared about whether he got hurt or not. Honestly, he wouldn’t have minded if Nightpaw had opened all of his wounds either, though that was kind of a stupid thing to think about right now. “Thank you,” He said, nodding. “Do you want to try again?” He asked, leaning on his non-injured side, since his other side was still aching. |

Goldenstar laughed. “Don’t think I will!” He said, before lunging again. This time, he was heading right torwards the apprentince. He was trying hard to soften the blow, but at the same time, he didn’t care. Sure, that sounded cold, but training was going to be training, waiting to see what the apprentince did. |

{No harm done!} Aspen gave a sharp flick of his tail. His eyes glaring at the she cat. "No, no, no." He mewed. This was no clans spot, and he was going to show it. He clawed some dirt up in his paw. Moving it into the others view. "See this? This is the earth, it belongs to no cat. Shadowclan owns nothing," He mewed, letting it spill from his paws. His ears flicked back and forth as he glared at her. |

Goldenstar saw the apprentince dodge, and was ready to whirl around, but he saw what she did, and frantically stopped the lunge he had been about to preform. He tried not to flinch as he watched her, as it wasn’t exactly the best move he had ever seen. “You okay?” He asked, prepared just in case the apprentince lunged at him. However he doubted that would happen. He would figure out if the apprentince was okay. Then he would go from there, his bi-colored eyes watching Nightpaw worriedly. |

Goldenstar tried not to laugh, after all, the apprentince could be hurt. “No, it’s fine, it helps us find out where there’s room for improvement,” he said, smiling awkwardly. “So, where do you think you messed up?” He asked, as it would help the training. Find the parts that weren’t the best, and fix them up a bit. Nightpaw seemed to still be in good spirits though, which made him feel slightly better as well. |

Moonclaw bounded after Tansylight's scent. She was late for her hunting trip with her friend. The grey patched shecat was a streak dodging obastacles left and right. Her icy blue eyes keenly searched for her hunting partner. Her ears pricked up as she heard her name. Moonclaw skid to a stop, smirking, "Sorry I'm late..." |

@blue jellie
Vixenpaw trudged after her mentor through the territory. She could already feel pine needles getting caught in her lovely tail, and the smell of sticky sap made her grimace. Why couldn't Featherfur just have her clean out bedding back at camp? Why did she have to learn to be a warrior? She would have been able to take some comfort in the idea that she could stay in camp when she was old enough to be a queen, but truth be told, she didn't want to have kits either. What shecat really wanted to have a bunch of needy little mewling kits bothering them day and night? "How many pieces of prey do we need to catch today?" the shecat asked, her voiced pitched high in a definite whine. Quote:

Goldenstar nodded. He hadn’t seen the entire move, since part of it he had been lunging. However, Nightpaw had basically said everything he had seen. “Do you want to retry that?” He asked calmly. Sure, he wanted to be able to watch her, instead of being the one that lunged at her. It would be nice to be able to watch her. However, he would have to work with what he had, so for the time being, he could just work with her one-on-one. Waiting to see what she wanted to do now. |

Goldenstar watched the apprentince. She did pretty good at the strike, he was just trying to figure out why he felt as though something was wrong with it. It could just be him overthinking things, getting worried about her performance, however, that probably wasn’t it. “Now, do you want to practice the attack again?” he asked calmly, hiding the small tinge of uncomfortableness hiding in his stomach. |

Goldenstar nodded. He wasn’t already starting to think about what they would do after this. Nightpaw had worked really hard after all, she deserved a break. They could practice some other time. He got into a position, ready to pounce. He took a deep breath, clearing his mind, before jumping torwards the apprentince, forcusing on her closely to try and figure out everything she was doing. |

Goldenstar whirled around. He had felt a touch on his leg, so that was good. He padded over, “Nice job!” He said, looking at Nightpaw warmly. “We’ll have to work on those attacks,” he murmured to himself, “But other than that, I think you’re doing pretty good!” He perked up. He was starting to get a little tired, looking over at Nightpaw. “You ready to call it a day? Or do you want to try a few more times?” He asked, trying to ignore the stinging in his wounds. |
