Stagheart finally felt the mother beaver's weight crumple beneath him. The beast was still alive, but bleeding out. It would only be moments before it was dead, and it certainly wasn't moving from that spot.

"Finish it off if y'want," he muttered to his remaining Clanmates before launching himself towards Caveclaw to help.

[Roll: 6 | Failure!]

He attempted to leap onto the beaver kit, trying to distract it by taking some hits from its tail as the last few swipes of his attack Clanmates. He grunted from the brunt of the hits; they knocked him back and failed to get his claws on the thing, but it wasn't nearly as painful as the full-grown mother beaver's tail.

[Roll: 16 | Success!]

He went for the tail again, a bit smarter this time and weaved around its swinging arcs. He slashed wildly at the beaver kit, finally managing to break through its tough pelt. Between his distraction and the last few strikes from Caveclaw and others who came to help, he saw it go down, bleeding out from injuries.

Nodding in appreciation and fueled by adrenaline, he hared over towards Bearsnout, Pigeonpelt, and Morningmimic. "Y'need help?" He called as he skidded to a halt by the hulking form of the father beaver. He was about to jump in but honestly, by Bearsnout's lunge for the neck, it looked like he was doing just fine. Dark blood was spurting from the wound, and the buck-toothed beast looked ready to crumple.

Caveclaw-She/They

--------------

After Stagheart went to help the others with the male Beaver, Caveclaw made sure the beaver kit was completely dead, giving it a good chomp on the throat. She would rather no unnecessary risk of it somehow surviving.
Once she finished that, they made their way beside Stagheart "Do we need to assist in this or are they good?" Caveclaw asked, claws out just in case.

Blackfrost
50 moons • RiverClan warrior • she/her
long-furred, mostly black tortoiseshell she-cat with sharp blue eyes

From her position on one side of the riverbank, Blackfrost could see the others' progress as she herself worked. As each group cleared more mud and sticks away, the water flow increased more and more. Cherryswirl called Mudsmoke and Minnowsplash down from up top, which Blackfrost took as a go ahead to throw caution to the wind.

With a new furor, she wrenched sticks apart with tooth and claw. When she finally felt it coming apart easier with the help of the waterflow, she backed up. Double checking that no one was still on top of the dam, she reared onto her hind legs and came back down with all her weight and strength. She felt an inscrutably small shift as her front paws came down. Not pausing to think, she did this again, and again, until finally, the whole section began to slide with an ominous crunching rumble...

sorry if I'm moving too fast, I just wanted to get things wrapped up since it ends tomorrow! <3

(Is this rushed? Absolutely.)
As Minnowsplash heard Cherryswirl’s call, they turned to catch Mudsmoke’s eye. Seeing mutual agreement, they hopped down from the dam. Even though much of the dam was still intact, trickles of water flowed through the many gaps. Minnowsplash nodded at their work in pride. Give it a moon or three, and the whole thing was sure to be gone. They looked towards the other cats in the group and waited for the others to comment.

Bearsnout
28 Moons || RiverClan || He/Him
The Gentle Giant

[rolled a 3]
The exhilarated tom whipped around and managed a smile as he watched Stagheart bounded to offer his help. "I think we got it-"

The moment that he'd taken to reply to his Clanmate was a foolish mistake as he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. He hissed and whipped around to face the father beaver. The pitifuk creature knew it didn't have much longer left and seemed to just be attempting to get as many last strikes in as it could. It seemed to just be flailing around desperately and attempting to get the cats and chose to lunge to Bearsnout while it waved it's tail wildly.

His mistake.

[rolled a 16]
Snarling, Bearsnout turned to face the creature head on and smashed his big paw into its nasty skull. The Maine coon mix then rammed the beaver into the ground, using his full body. He ignored the blood trickling down his own cheek as he a took step back to make sure the beaver would stay down.

It squirmed at first, but quickly seemed to accept that it would not be winning the fight, and went limp, beginning to bleed out and eventually die from it's wounds.

The heaving tom turned back to his Clanmates. He broke into a grin as he saw them. Seeing the three gathered here meant that they had all been successful in taking out the beavers. "Looks like we got 'em all!" He exclaimed, head held high with a great deal of pride.

"Nice work, guys!" He said cheerfully despite his bloody cheek, flicking his tail happily.
