Flowernose wandered in a circle and grumbled. " Hey, Hawkthorn? " She called to her mate. Hawkthorn's ears perked up and he padded over. " Yes, love? " He asked and licked her shoulder. Flowernose frowned. " My stomach feels funny. Like there's something kicking it. " She explained and sat down. Hawkthorn sat beside her and tilted his head. " Kicking? " He wondered and looked at his paws, thinking hard. Flowernose yawned. " I've only eaten a fat rabbit and drank some dew. " She muttered half to herself.

Despite his dislike of Sunflowerswirl, his voice has no worry and he is firm in his belief that the warrior will not be in any harm. Though he was dissatisfied with her as a mentor, she was still a warrior, after all, and they weren't even patrolling a dangerous part of the clan territory at the time of her disappearance. Yes, she was surely safe. She probably just forgot and took a nap on a too-cozy rock or something. Antpaw's only worry is that he won't be granted a new mentor before she returns. |

She returned his playful bat with a light swat of her own, enjoying the familiar comfort of their sibling bond. "Hey, Breezepool," she meowed, her tone affectionate. "This whole lockdown is a pain, isn't it? Makes the camp feel a lot smaller." She sat down beside him, glancing around the crowded clearing as she listened to his question. "As for my apprentice, Ravenpaw's doing well, all things considered. We've been working on some basics, but with the lockdown, it's been tough to keep things interesting. We don't even get to leave camp." Larkswoop sighed softly, her tail flicking against the ground. "I think it's frustrating for both of us. It was so refreshing and carefree! (And nice to not have training for a day). He found these really gorgeous blue flowers that sort of matched his pelt, and some other ones that were yellow, and matched his personality. He had rolled around and placed both. That’s cause two things. One, his fur to be really messy, and two, his fur to be covered in really pretty flowers! He enjoyed spending the day with his friends and being so free! (Just free in the confinements of camp) and has hardly noticed at the day came to an end and the sky had gotten darker. He wasted a whole day?—no, not wasted. That fun time wasn’t a waste. Grunting as he felt a weight on his his back leg, he turned to see another barnacle. Shoot. Wasn't yelling supposed to scare kits? Hmm...maybe just the smart ones. Oh no. Oh no the kits everyone claims to be his may be stupid. He can't have that. Even if they're not his, which they aren't. they're glued to his name since apparently the dying mother said so. Just as he looked up from the kit attached to his leg, he spotted another one sauntering out of the nursery. Direct eye contact. Oh no. Without missing a beat, Spiderthroat swooped down in an attempt to pick up his clone. Aiming to swiftly, yet subconciously to him gently, pick her up by the scruff. As long as the one in the back properly clung to his leg like he's currently doing, the trio could make a mad dash for a rock or something. As long as more don't come out of the nursery, before he get's surrounded. "Maybe we'll yell later, for now let's get you two uh. Let's go inspect what's under this rock here cm'on." he said hurredly. Maybe the other one hadn't seen him yet. |

And away they went! Fleakit didn't even get enough time to get on Spiderthroats back and they were running, well fine then! So like a good flea he bit down to hold on better. Mileage may vary if this actually hurt or was just a mouth of fluff for the pesky kit. And why were they going to look at some lame rock anyways? Was his dad just a big lameo?? There had to be something super impressive under this rock or his dad was getting a shining new nickname!

Back already? It really felt like it hadn't been that long... but at the same time, with everything happening, it felt like it couldn't have been long enough. Bumblestar's torn ear flipped back and forth as she listened to her kid's report. RiverClan, otters, bayberries?? and sandburrs, the latter two of which had already been taken care of. And a demotion. Her upper lip twitched. Idiots. "The otters can stay RiverClan's problem," she grunted. "A little welcome back gift, I guess." With any luck, the animals would tear them up nicely and keep them off the border for a little while longer. "Appreciate the update. You doin' okay? Seems like you've been working through the bulk of everything." |

Antpaw wasn't the issue this time - a surprise really given past incidents. Wolfhive's focus was on Hawkthorn, weary. Since Vinepaw's exile hadn't been publicly announced to the Clan, Wolfhive was at a loss for the origins of this nonsense - but he'd squash it at once.
He debated discussing the exile but decided if anyone would it'd be Bumblestar. Not some cats making assumptions because she didn't return to camp. "Right now, the only thing you should know is that if you see her, send her off. She's exiled until the end of next moon and has to speak with me to have her spot in our Clan reinstated. If Bumblestar wishes to share more details on this she will, but I do not want to hear more gossip minimalizing the severity of an exile." Talking to another cat... seriously. One less noisy idiot in that crowded elder's den. Antpaw eyes the clearing and waits until Wolfhive is fully gone before meowing, "Dad, I think we should talk somewhere else next time. Mudhound had the zoomies!!!! Despite being a hornet and having the ability to go outside without jumping through hoops due to the lockdown, the tripod with no real reason to leave but that they were feeling twitchy didnt. It wasnt safe, the camp was locked for a reason, and there were predators out there. Best not to risk it and instead just to inflict their hyperness on the tripods poor unsuspecting clanmates instead. Which they were, hornet randomly sprinting around and downright springing off the dens, eventually to come skidding to a stop in front of Orangepaw. Hello victim, there is no escape for you now. "Hey! Hey, hey hey Orangepaw! Hey Orange!!! I challenge YOU to a sun staring content! First one to look away from the sun or blink has to uuuuuuuuhhhh..." What'd be a good consequence? OOOOOH! "Has to clean out the elders den! 321GO!" Mudhound did not even wait for Orangepaw to accept or reject it, turning towards the mid day sun and making the rather stupid decision to stare at it, unblinking. Just because. @Idiotic.Bean101 |

Meh today. They hadnt been spending as much time as they'd liked to with Redhawk, and it'd sapped some of the light from their life. That wasnt Redhawk, their sunset-bird's love's fault, Redhawk was recovering from loosing an entire leg she needed time and rest. But they'd also not spent time with Sprucejumper as well, their kiddo, and that was more the hornets fault busy as they were. It was all just work work work of late, dealing with the predators and threats and dozens of little stresses and Mudhound was just starting to feel bad. They couldnt though, couldnt feel bad and collapse when there was still so few hornets, only them and Wolfhive functional basically, to keep things running. So instead Mudhound was desperately trying to keep light and so strength in their life in all the little ways. Today it'd be by mud. Mudhound loved mud, though their name came from their pelt more then that love honestly. But there was a stream in camp and after a good few hours of rolling and splashing and rucking up the ground they'd created a good wallowing put and was soaked even browner then normal, completely coated. Wolfpaw was just the first poor unfortunate to walk by this wallowing put. "Heya puppy! Heads up!" SPLAT "Hehehe now youre brown like me! Come over here so I can reach you, if we paint you brown with the mud and like stuck down your ears somehow you'll be my little mini me! We can scare Bumble-sis into thinking I had a kitten somehow heheheheheh. Come on get over here, itll be fun!" It'd also be filthy and Wolfpaw really should run while he was out of grabbing range. @Bean |
