[ I promise this isn't the same as Skjoldolfr's! Shapeshifers, but different concepts. and with almost the same title]
Welcome to Shifter. What is a Shifter, you ask? A creature, not quite human,
who can transform into up to five distinct, non-human forms.

The rules and details of being a Shifter!
1. Never reveal yourself to a human. You will instantly disappear, as well as your memory.
2. Every form is different. They have their own strengths, powers, and weaknesses.
3. Each of your forms has some characteristic they all share[eye color, hair color, etc.]
4. All Shifters can sense one another instantly.
5. Shifters have up to six lives- one for each form, plus their human form. When you die in a form, you revert to human form immediately. Once your last form, whatever it may be, dies, so do you.
And that's all there is to it? What are your forms? What do you use them for?

True Name; Bastite Jafeer

Gender; Male

Personality; Sly and manipulative, clever and cunning, Bastite is a slippery creature. He uses people against themselves, twisting their words, talking down to them, making them misunderstood. He's not a nice guy. He doesn't have friends because he's afraid he'll be stabbed in the back himself. He's careful and smart. He usually doesn't make mistakes. He makes sure no one gets close to him. He's pretty sadistic, watching the people he's manipulated turn against themselves or one another. He enjoys watching them fight.

Constant; In each form, at least one tooth, a noticeable one, is golden.


Human Name; Bailey Jones
Appearance; He's pretty average in this appearance, a Chinese nationality. His skin is pale and his hair is straight and black, his left canine tooth being the golden one. He wears plain clothes, usually a t-shirt, shorts, plain shoes. Nothing fancy or standing out. He keeps his mouth closed to blend in. His hair is about shoulder length, an undercut pulled into a topknot that he never lets down. His eyes are so dark they're black.

Powers; Is lock picking a power? He can get into anything, anywhere, and appear in the most unexpected places. He's fast.

Form Name; Lucy

Appearance; A very basic diamondback with a partially broken rattle. It barely works. His eyes are a sharp yellow, and for this form, his left fang is gold for the constant.

Powers; Can slip through a crack nearly any size.

Killed?; Almost, but not yet.


Form Name; Tala

Appearance; A fierce black dog with electric blue eyes. His paws are mixed white and grey with black peppers in them, his underside being a grey, the underside of his tail like his paws. Think cookies and cream ice cream. For this form, his left, and most visible fang is golden for the constant. A few hairs on his forehead are white, a barely visible spot.

Powers; Can run at incredible speeds.

Killed?; Nope. He hates this form.


Form Name; Adrion

Appearance; A huge hawk with dark wings. He's bigger than average hawks. Here, his eyes are again, an icy blue. For the constant, since birds don't have teeth and I don't want to make his beak solid cold, one of his talons, the sharpest, is golden.

Powers; Has like, a super scream. He can be heard nearly several states away. Good for quick get aways. He loves this form.

True Name: Kei
Gender: Male
Personality: Being the absent minded individual with an alarming lack of perception, Jace can't help but feel slow compared to many other quick thinkers. He's certainly not stupid, but lacks the ability to spot a liar or learn much. He's very protective of his indentity as a shifter and often avoids using his abilities when he can. The description is pretty simple just because I want to have some flexibility on how his character turns out :3
Constant: The color blue somewhere

Human Name: Jace Beleren
Appearance: Jace looks fairly ordinary and doesn't bother changing that; the further he can distance himself from his powers, the better. He has fairly unkempt dark blue hair he insists he didn't dye and keeps it under a baseball cap. Jace assumes it's a side effect of his powers. His bangs and strands still stick out. He is about 5'10 in height and usually wears sneakers, black jeans, a white t-shirt, and a blue sweatshirt.
Powers: Can breathe underwater for longer periods of time

Appearance: Pretty much a typical slender raccoon, expect he has bold, piercing blue eyes
Powers: Ice manipulation

Appearance: An ordinary brown rat with light blue runes across his fur

Appearance: A fox with fur of strictly different shades of blue, except for a white snout and paws
