after they've settled in and had a few days of classes the students/tour guide go on the ship Océano rosa (Ocean Rose) to whale watch. As they sail, a storm rolls in and Maroons the 9 on a small remote island. They have to survive and find a way to either escape or live on their prison paradise.

The students are boarding the plane to the Penninsula, so this opens in an airport, they are free to do whatever but have to stay in the boarding area. They take the flight, and Once they get there, they pretty much roam and get to know the Academy around them. The next day I suppose they somehow study something? Like go to the beach, but that's up to everyone, it's really flexible :]

Jace waited patiently in the boarding area, his carry-on luggage sitting neatly on his lap. The senior leaned back, staring at the gate as they waited to board. He sighed and tapped his finger impatiently, as he was very easy to grow bored.

Harper refused to sit, even though she usually want easily exited, going to the Baja Peninsula and study marine life for free was too good to be true. The moment she read the letter, she sent in her response as calmly as she could. Even now, her fingertips were buzzing with excitement she'd never felt before. Tuesdays would be absolutely awesome: batting, whale watching, and encounters with animals shed never seen in the flesh in the wild before. She tilted her head, maybe shed see a whale, or meed someone new, either way, she was doing something amazing that could somehow make anybody jealous. She clutched her bag tighter. Paradise She thought, biting her lip, here I come

She couldn't believe her luck when she'd first got the letter, she could have screamed! Well, she did, but that's not important. This was going to be an amazing trip, she could feel it, goose bumps popped all over her skin. Or maybe that was just the airport's AC. Nonetheless, Cori was probably an expert on marine life at this point, considering her age. She would love nothing more than to get away from her hometown and finally study some animals worth studying.

Rocking back and forth on her feet, she looked at the kids around her. They all seemed pretty nice, really. There was nothing to worry about. When was the plane getting here? Would they crash? What if they didn't make it? Was this the wrong plane? Okay, pump the brakes, you're gonna be fine. Cori took a few deep breaths, easing her anxiety. Everything would be fine, they always were, this was going to be an amazing trip, and she didn't want to ruin it by over thinking and she hadn't even left the airport yet.

Harper didn't know how much she could relate. It was exactly the same, "ugh. I wish all of us could just get there already! There's so much to do!" She looked out the window, imagining the concrete circles were rolling aqua waves and tan particles of sand.
