Mermaids. There just legends..right? Well, what you don't know is that there is a kingdom full of mermaids in the part of the ocean humans call "Deaths hole." Or most common "Hells hole." Cause whenever a human finds and explores this place, they never come back do to either being eaten by a shark, or killed by the king of mermaids. However, there is a group of humans named the "Researchers of Deaths Hell Hole " who make it there mission to really find out whats down there... But what will happen when they really do find out mermaids live there?

Well! Nevermind that. My names Erica, one of the two head guards of the Kingdom of Meridians Ocean guard. We protect the kingdom and make sure the protective barrier around the whole kingdom is secure.

Speaking of the Barrier, did you know that princes and princesses get magic crystals called "sea crystals" When they are old enough? Well, they are the only things that can go past the barrier. but, if one of them did pass the border.. they would probably die in the next five minutes. Thats why the King orders that his children never use the crystals for the barrier. What was that? What happens if they survive? Outside the Barrier?? Well... the humans might find them and kill them, or use them to find the kingdom. Thats why wee forbid it! What do you mean humans are extinct? There not! I have proof! But whatever, I am the only mermaid here that thinks humans are real.. Now, how about you meet our king, King Xymbis! He's an amazing and protective ruler that will definitely tell you more about the kingdom! Now come on, follow me!

For researchers: They mostly just look for ways to get down there without getting killed. They can have meeting by the head Researcher and stuff like that. If your man does try to find the Kingdom alone (When a mermaid isn't outside the barrier) than you either won't see the Kingdom or your person will be killed by the King. The watchers just watch things happening and will help put some input if needed. They are just there to keep records and stuff. The servants are there to just grab coffee and stuff for the Researchers and Watchers. They don't have any part in the research.
You are aloud pets that you can talk to and understand. Just remember, no rare animals and NO SHARKS OR WHALES. If you have any questions, please ask me!)

Aury surfed the internet on her new PC. She was checking out any types of mermaid sightings and where they were. Most of them, probably all, were obviously fake, but she had hopes for a few promising ones. She wrote the times and dates of the sightings in her notebook. 'They have to exist. Otherwise, why would I be studying them?' She wondered for a minute.

After a few hours, she placed her hand on her right temple, massaging it. She was getting quite the headache. She checked her watch. It was getting late, but she continued writing an outline on the topic of mermaids/mermen and the best places to find them.

Peter rested on a rock out on the ocean, lying on his stomach as he played with some pebbles. The waves crashed against the sides of the large stone, spraying Peter with cool water and making him smile to himself. Looking up, he watched the shore, curiously, seagulls and other birds strolling along the sands and pecking at the ground for mussels and bread crumbs. Peter flicked his tail in interest, smiling to himself and quietly humming a melody.

Now he was a nobody, flicking his tail and ducking between the other mer. Soon he came to the town outskirts, and came across a girl gathering shells. "Uh... hello." [I'm thinking he knows her, since she's the head guard, but he can't tell from behind.]

Peter climbed back up onto the rock, peering at the human with slightly narrowed eyes. He saw the human holding a small box like contraption, holding it up and focusing it on Peter. Suddenly feeling as if he was in danger, Peter quickly dove back into the water, cautiously swimming around. He crawled up to the shore a good bit away from Alek, hiding behind some more rocks in a tide pool. As he reached up to grab a rock to hold onto, his hand slipped and was deeply cut on a sharp edge of the stone, yelping in pain. Blood oozed from his wound and he turned around, struggling to get back out into the water. However, being stuck in a tide pool with rocks surrounding him and little water was a big problem.

A mermaid with a pretty pink tail rested on a few rocks, her pink ombre hair spread out around her, surprisingly not wet. She'd been sunbathing for a bit, with her hands in the water, making them cool. Rain gazed at the sky, careful to avoid direct contact with the sun. She was far enough from shore she wouldn't be able to be seen by humans, in some rocks a mile or two away. Rain sighed, propping her head on her hands and gazing curiously at the shore.

Peter climbed back up onto the rock, peering at the human with slightly narrowed eyes. He saw the human holding a small box like contraption, holding it up and focusing it on Peter. Suddenly feeling as if he was in danger, Peter quickly dove back into the water, cautiously swimming around. He crawled up to the shore a good bit away from Alek, hiding behind some more rocks in a tide pool. As he reached up to grab a rock to hold onto, his hand slipped and was deeply cut on a sharp edge of the stone, yelping in pain. Blood oozed from his wound and he turned around, struggling to get back out into the water. However, being stuck in a tide pool with rocks surrounding him and little water was a big problem.

Taking a deep breath, Jenni thought to herself that if she didn't calm down, someone would probably try to come and help her, and she hated being touched by strangers. She braced her small hands against the sand and shoved the rock with all her strength, managing to squirm free. She scooped up her pet rock, Leo, and flicked her tail left and right a few times in an attempt to alleviate some of the pain.

"Let's go visit our neighbors, Leo!" she cooed after she had recovered, and she raced off to find someone to play with.

Whoever throws it farther gets to write the next sentence of the story! But if you get farthest five times in a row, you have to throw a heavier rock."

A small guppy swam about, almost blending in with the seaweed, she swam through the cracks and hopes of the rock formations formations, almost as if she was playing a one person game of tag. She loved the way the water forced her hair to her sides, as the current gave her a fun challenge of strength and speed.

With a happy gurgle, the squid took the stone and held it out, squirting out ink and staining the stone the requested color. "Thank you!" Val grinned happily and gave the squid a kiss, causing it to do some sort of blushing and pushing the stone into her hands.
