A red river ran through the black forest as she walked the path that seemed to never end. Locked in a trance to just keep moving, she felt the pull of an invisible rope around her that pulled her closer to an unknown place- and unknown land. She then suddenly stopped, and her awareness returned as she looked about, and fear filled her body, seen in shivers and the sight from her eyes. She looked down and saw that the path stopped here.

"Hello?" She called into the darkness that seemed to press against her. She felt like she was in a crowded room that was becoming smaller and smaller. She tried to walk, but as she began to lift her foot to take a step a hissy growl echoed from infront of her and she jumped back with a yelp. She looked up, her eyes wide with fear. She saw the shape of a man, but saw only that- a shape. A silhouette. She swallowed hard and with a whimpering voice she called, "Who's there?"

With no response coming from the shadowed man she again tried to take a step forward, and this time no growl came. She took another step, then another, her pace staying the same as fear made her hesitant. But suddenly with a snap of a twig under her foot, the shadowed figure snarled and appeared but one, red eye that was narrowed and beaming with anger. She gasped and turned to run, but after a few moments the figure was before her, and she skidded to a halt, which made her fall back. She looked up in fear, and the red eye drew closer and closer, and clawed hands reached for her before, suddenly, as she let out a scream and closed her eyes she felt a shaking on her.

She opened her eyes, and looked up to see Bill standing over her with a worried look. "Erin, are you alright?" He asked.

"Yeah, Bill, I'm fine. I, uh, had a bad dream is all..." She replied. He slowly nodded and sighed.

"Alright then. Try to get some more rest, we have a busy day tomorrow." He said before walking out of her room. She layed herself back down, but she did not close her eyes. She couldn't.
