It's the year 4025, and the world has been on a set course further and further from the sun. Everybody has hidden underground in warm places, but slowly, food is running out, and people are dying. The youngest are fed first in an attempt to preserve the human race, and the world becomes pitch black and extremely, unbearably cold. Finally, a miracle happens, and the earth drifts into a new and strange universe, where an alien race that much resemble humans and speak English rescue the survivers, which are few, and there is nobody left over the age of nineteen. Worst of all, during the earth's relocation, a strange gas penetrated the atmosphere, and it caused a worldwide amnesia effect on everybody. Nobody knows who they are, not even you. That's right. You are one of the survivors, and you are stuck, with little to no memories in a strange new place.

Basically, you've been stranded on an alien planet, helped by humanoid creatures who closely resemble humans, but with several odd differences, mainly wings, tails, horns, ect. . Earth has died, and is a land of ice and snow, too cold for anything to live or grow there. With no clue who you are, you are assigned an alien guide, given one power as a gift to help keep you alive, a pet, a name, and are sent off to make a new life for yourself in this strange new planet called Aytera.

The wolves of this planet, muac are ruthless hunters that live in the lower parts of the mountain ranges, often forming packs to hunt down other creatures, including humans and Ayterians.

Viscous if feral, these creatures live in the upper areas, sometimes coming down to feed on muac or anything else they can hunt, but are easily imprinted on when young, and make good pets. They are often used as transportation.

The protectors of the mountains, these creatures are neither hunters nor prey, and are for the most part left alone. It is said that they keep sicknesses at bay and are the healers of the world, healing all in need of it, although threaten them and they will fly or run, and never again help you.

Cute describes them well, although they are carnivorous, but scavengers more than hunters due to their small size, although will form flocks to hunt larger animals. They're excellent pets, but in the wild, they can team up and act as fluffy, cute sky piranhas.

The isen are nearly untameable, and prey upon etha mostly, as long as they etha are either alone or there are few of them. Fast and fierce, you don't want to meet one of these, as they are highly dangerous and like to hunt for fun.

Long, spindly and curious, alvar have a knack for finding plants even in the harshest and most barren environments, and sometimes go very long times without eating. They are friendly, and hard Tom catch if the sense bad intentions, as they are able to sense one's intentions, but not thoughts.

Small and annoying, they are about three feet tall, and are thrives of the forest. Of you have food, they will find it with their highly adapted sense of smell. They live solitary lives, but are quite intelligent, often acting cute and doing tricks to get food. They are harmless, but demanding, and mostly eat plants, but are always willing to make an exception.

You don't want meet one of these. Sure, they're cute, but they are tricky and troublemakers, and are good at it. They can hypnotize their target with a jade colored jewel type thing in their forehead, and can basically use mind control. It's easy enough to block if you know that they're there, but if they're sneaky enough, they might just get away with it.

Rare and mysterious, little is known about these animals, and they are seen as powerful and majestic. You are lucky to see one, and are not allowed to hunt them. Plants grow wherever they walk, and they are the guardians of the forest, even klons know to keep their distance.

There is a dominant head, armed with wings and claws, and a second head on the other end, this one highly venomous, but lacking wings and claws. They have a nasty attitude, and occasionally fight with their other head. Not the most successful species, but important nonetheless.

Sneaky and witty, they are both predator and prey. They are prey to the the ryths, and predators to anything smaller than them. At eight feet tall, they have a good selection, as far as desert dwellers go anyways.

Wily and touch, these brutes aren't afraid to fight, and will without hesitation, try and take down anything of any size. There aren't many of these, as they often have a very low survival rate due to their lack of self preservation and caution. But, their bark is worse than their bite, and they can be quite friendly as long as you show them who's boss.

The dogs of Aytera, they are often pets or roam freely on the streets, scavenging for a free meal. Sokak are clever and playful, making them excellent companions, although they are easily provoked, and you must be careful with your words when around them.

The mazas are a small race, never any bigger than your average housecat. They flit around the city, and are really just a nuisance, pecking at anything that looks a bit like food, and making nests where they aren't welcome. They can be good pets, but are otherwise rather annoying.

They are hunters, and come out into the city at night, attacking anyone they find an easy enough target. They are fiesty, and about the size of a deer, making them rather dangerous. As long as you act tough, they'll run off though, as they're sort of cowards, and not the bravest of beings.

Extremely fast, these sleek beasts are formidable hunters, and like to prey upon sadna. They make good pets, so long as you can keep up and not get eaten. They have a strict order of things, and if you aren't dominant, they will cast you out of their social order and deem you "prey", so watch out.

Cute and friendly, sadna are gullible and cheerful, eating only fruit from a certain tree, their sharp teeth perfect for cracking through the fruit's rock hard shell. To reach the fruit, they use tentacle like things on their shoulders. They can use their teeth and tentacles and teeth for self defense, but rarely do they get the chance. When frightened, they often scream, run in circles, then faint, making them easy targets.

The largest creatures of the plains, peska are gentle giants, and live in huge herds of up to sixty. They are protective and untrusting, but if raised by Ayterians or humans, they can be good pets and good transportation, although wary of strangers. They are quite unique, and fast, too. They have to be to keep away from sustu.

Lupus's gaze wandered over the assembly of strange looking being called humans. He was surprised to see that they much resembled Ayterians, but without any forms of self defense. No claws, fangs, wings, tails or anything else that could be used to their advantage. An hour ago, some high ranking Ayterians had gone on a mission to retrieve and rescue the humans, who were now safe, and had called upon him and several other normal Ayterians to act as guides for these humans. Each had been given a creature and a power as a friendly and useful gift, designed to help keep them alive on Aytera, which was a world full of danger. Rumor, Lupus's pet etha, sat on his shoulder, chittering loudly in his ear. He sat, waiting to see who he would be assigned. An Ayterian walked up to Lupus and pointed to a boy with blue hair, telling him that was who he was going to guide. Lupus nodded and walked up. “Hi.” he said, his eyes blue gaze gleaming cheerfully.

Forest stood in a line, shoulder to shoulder with people he didn't know, or if he did, he didn't remember. He shifted uneasily, his gray eyes darting around the place, so strange and unfamiliar. But what caught his attention most was the creatures that had rescued him and many other people from the freezing planet he'd woken up to find himself on. They had animal like parts, like horns, tails and such. It was odd and seemed off, but they had rescued him and everyone else. He had no memory of who he was, not even his real name. The only thing he remembered was that he'd once had a best friend, but didn't know what they looked like, who they were, or if they were even still alive. Only that he'd had one once. He gazed around uncertainly, running a hand through his spikey black hair, a habit of his when he was nervous.

Kei awaited his assignment, eyeing all of the humans dubiously. He didn't sit, as he was already short enough. Crossing his arms, he studied each individual carefully, analyzing their appearance. They must be so lost right now... not that they can help it. He Ayterian approached Kei next, instructing him to guide a female with chestnut hair. Scratching the back of his neck anxiously, the guide headed over to her. At this point, he was actually unsure what to do and what they meant by guiding. It can't be too hard, right? Chance, Kei's valdin, trotted behind him, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at the human. Kei gently pushed Chance away with his foot and looked back to the female. "Hey, uh... I'm Kei," the guide greeted her.

Sol stood quietly with the other human survivors in the line. He couldn't remember much, but he was sure that he had a friend before, yet couldn't remember anything about them. He saw some of the Ayterians approaching people in the line, not sure what was going to happen, or if they were planning on something, but he kept himself quiet, being the shy one out of all of them. He soon observed the alien race, wondering if they are thinking the same about his race as well as vice versa. He then stopped his wondering, and awaited for something to happen for him.

August wondered who she'd be 'guiding'. Sighing, she pet Hallow, her Etha. "It's okay, girl" she cooed to the small creature, who looked curious and a bit distressed at the humans. She spotted one with spiked black hair, then turned to the higher ranks and waited for her assigned human. One pointed to the same boy she'd seen a few moments earlier, the spike-haired one, and she walked over with confidence. "Hello. I'm August." She said, a smile forming on her lips slightly.

Crow stood around, his hand resting gently on Inferno's antlers. He had rescued Inferno a year ago, and the two had been together ever since, braving the desert that Crow called home, or once had, until he'd been called forth as a guide. Not his idea of a great future, but he had to admit, it sounded intriguing, and the humans looked okay. No real defense, and rather harmless, but okay. An Ayterian approached him, not one he knew, and quietly told him he'd been assigned. He looked over the human, who had blue eyes and multiple colors in his hair. He looked back at Inferno, then walked forwards, deciding that until he'd talked with the human for a bit, he would use caution. “So, I'm your guide I s'pose.” Crow said, trying his best to keep from accidentally setting himself on fire, a habit that Crow had.

Forest eyed the alien, sizing her up. He was still trying to get over the fact that this was real, and aliens spoke English. He studied one with pale purple hair, red horns and a red tail. He watched another of the aliens approach her and speak to her. He looked at the creature with her, small and white with wings and long ears that stuck straight up. It seemed familiar, but he couldn't figure out why, and gave up trying to guess. Forest was surprised to see that she was heading in his direction, and looked away for a second. “. . . Forest.” Forest replied hesitantly, still not convinced that that was his name, but it was the closest thing to a name he had, and he would take it. Forest's gray eyes traveled back to her, taking in her horns. “What is this place . . . ?”

Lupus's ice colored eyes traveled over the human he'd been assigned to guide, still wondering his such creatures had survived, with wings or anything. His own icy wings were folded against his back. “I'm Lupus. You are?” he introduced himself, then looked at Rumor. “Oh, and this is Rumor.” he added, chuckled as Rumor gave a satisfied nod of his head, chittering loudly.

She explained. August motioned to the small Etha on her shoulder. "This is an Etha. I think Earth life was quite different from ours.." she added, Hallow chirped at Forest in a friendly tone and curled up on Augusts shoulder.

Ice stood still as the Ayterians scanned them, he then looked to Pleton and gave a smile but all the pet did was give a small growl,"Friendly little guy aren't ya?"He chuckled.

He wondered many thing, like what was his name, how did he survive, did KC make it out alive? But he didn't think about anything now, just that he might get a new friend, something he never thought of having. "Im Dante, and this is Diana." He pointed at the large Zihx behind him. "So your my guide, yes?"

Sol watched as a tall male approached him, noticing his black wings that were glued to him. He listened as he said that they were his guide, and spoke in a shy tone, "G...guide?" He had no clue what the word meant, but assumed that it meant something about him. He soon noticed the sokak, and asked shyly, "W...what's that? And...where...where am I...?" He had so many questions to ask, but he was too shy to ask them all at the moment, and didn't want to sound obnoxious. He then observed him quietly, and then wanted to see if he was going anywhere.

(tbh im tempted to give him a bad case of Amnesia. Also gonna have his pet come in laateeerrr)

Fewer dangers in the sky than on the ground, which was plagued with danger. “Sure am!” Lupus replied cheerfully, ignoring Rumor, who was now sitting on his head, licking at the icy horns that protruded from his white hair. He would've offered to shake Dante's hand, but he was sure Dante was fed up with the cold, and didn't want to go touching something that felt a bit like ice.

He knew he would've hated the cold, it always dulled his powers and made him cold, obviously. Oh no.... This is going to be like teaching a baby, isn't it? He thought, mentally groaning. “Yeah... Y'know, show you the ropes. Help you survive, all that.” Crow explained, his hair smoldering slightly, but not burning or lighting on fire, yet. “Well, you're on Aytera. A planet. And that's Inferno. He's a sokak.” Crow added, sighing. He was stuck with they guy now. “So, what's your name?”

"I suspect you'll be getting a pet at some point, most of the wildlife is docile enough, but you don't want to encounter a wild Zihx or a Klon at all." She added, shivering at the thought of the deceptively cute creature.

He wondered if there was something special about humans that had allowed them to survive under such extreme circumstances. He said, not remembering his name at all. Name...name, name, name...what is my name? He thought, then looked up at the sun, and it gave him a slight memory of the name of the sun his planet orbited. Soon he said slowly, "S....Sol...?" He said it a bit questioningly, which would have given a red flag on his memory. Soon he noticed that his hair was smoldering a bit, and focused a bit on that, and said, "Your...um...your hair..." wanting to warm him, worried that it wasn't normal for hair to be smoldering.

"I suspect you'll be getting a pet at some point, most of the wildlife is docile enough, but you don't want to encounter a wild Zihx or a Klon at all." She added, the humans word for Sokak odd and not rolling off her tongue like their word did. Oh well, August would have to clarify a lot of things for this human, may as well get used to it early on. "I could show you around, like a tour?" She asked, her tail slightly twitching. "Introduce you to some of the new things you don't know about.." she asked.

Kei awaited his assignment, eyeing all of the humans dubiously. He didn't sit, as he was already short enough. Crossing his arms, he studied each individual carefully, analyzing their appearance. They must be so lost right now... not that they can help it. He Ayterian approached Kei next, instructing him to guide a female with chestnut hair. Scratching the back of his neck anxiously, the guide headed over to her. At this point, he was actually unsure what to do and what they meant by guiding. It can't be too hard, right? Chance, Kei's valdin, trotted behind him, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at the human. Kei gently pushed Chance away with his foot and looked back to the female. "Hey, uh... I'm Kei," the guide greeted her.

He checked over his shoulder to make sure the human was doing alright, slowing so he was almost neck and neck with Diana.

Crow was relieved that the guy could at least talked, and for the most part seemed to understand what was being said, which would make things a little easier, although Crow wasn't the "look on the bright side" type, and was more if a pessimist than most Ayterians. “Well, not exactly. There's the desert, the winter, the forest, the plains, the city and the mountains, but I hadn't figured out where to go first.” Crow said, listing all the main biomes. Atyera had no oceans, and few water sources, half of them being ice.

It was certainly bright out, the sun beaming through his deep, black eyes.

They really are sweet creatures unless you're a horrible person," he replied, "As for where we're going, you have a few choices on the first bit. There's the city, desert, mountains, arctic, forest, or plains. Pick your poison." A strand of Kei's long, red hair fell in his face as he looked up in the sky. It was certainly bright out, the sun beaming through his deep, black eyes.


"Perhaps the Forest? That doesn't seem so bad..." she spoke. Stellar nudged her with her beak. Luna got onto her knees and faced the isen. "Oh - it's okay, Stellar. I'll be right back." She looked up at her guide. "Where do I put Stell- my pet for the time being?" She asked.

Kei's eyes widened to plates when the realization struck him. "Forest it is! Anyway, you can ride Stell- if you want to," he answered, a bit giddy the opportunity had arisen, "Don't worry! Isens can fly low too, after all."

Takara had been called here, to be a guide for a human. She wasn't sure what that meant exactly, but she was sure it meant something good. After all, it didn't sound bad. She was directed to a boy with a sustu, which he eyed uncertainly, having a dislike for the fast gray animals. Oh well. Takara thought, walking on to him. “Hi.” she said quietly, wrapping one hand tightly around the spear she always carried with her.

Crow nodded, folding his arms over his chest and looking up at the sky for a moment before his fiery gaze wandered back to the human called Sol. Crow was relieved that the guy could at least talked, and for the most part seemed to understand what was being said, which would make things a little easier, although Crow wasn't the "look on the bright side" type, and was more if a pessimist than most Ayterians. “Well, not exactly. There's the desert, the winter, the forest, the plains, the city and the mountains, but I hadn't figured out where to go first.” Crow said, listing all the main biomes. Atyera had no oceans, and few water sources, half of them being ice.


Forest shifted, not sure what she meant. He wasn't sure what a dog was, although from the way she said it, it was impossible to tell if they good or bad. He shook his hard. He didn't want one of those strange animals as a pet, as Forest wasn't sure he believed them when he'd been told how harmless they were. He didn't think they looked harmless, anyways. Nothing on this planet looked very harmless to him. “Okay....” Forest said slowly, focusing on her tail for a moment as he responded. He eyed her pet cautiously, feeling something about it sparking his subconscious, but not what about it it was, so he ignored it, deciding that it was probably nothing.

Dante nodded and pat Dianas neck, signaling her to fly.

Diana squared again before rising up in the air. Since she was new at this she moved slowly, sometimes jerking in a random direction to make sure she was steady.

Shrugging at his decline of a pet, August smiled. "Okay. I'll have to take wildlife into consideration, so let me think for a minute.." she trailed off, the tip of her tail slightly twitching as she was deep in thought. Looking back at Forest, she nodded her head slightly. "Let's visit the city first, before the Verzi come out." She said, having a hate of the brutish creatures.

Forest shifted he weight from foot to foot, wondering what in earth a verzi was. Wait, no.... What on Aytera. He grinned slightly at that, but it quickly vanished, and he nodded in a serious way, although anyone could tell that he was actually excited. The city didn't sound too bad, and it sounded almost familiar, even though his only memories were those if the dark and cold and being hungry all the time up until a few hours ago, and suddenly, here he was, in the sun, probably the sun anyways. “How do we get there...?”
Sol watched and listened silently as the Ayterian spoke, watching his expressions until he spoke out about the plains, which peaked his interest a bit. "P...plains?" He sounded curious of the plains, thinking that other places would cause him to go insane from the conditions of the other biomes. Out of all the humans, he was probably the shyest of the group, but he didn't know that. Soon he looked at the sky and then at the ground, not wanting to ask if they could go there.

Crow groaned internally, his flame colored eyes dimming slightly, but just for a moment. The plains were okay, not as good as the desert, but he was doubting that these harmless looking creatures could survive such extreme conditions, at least, not without lots of training and such. “Uh, yeah.... Large open fields with tall golden green grass and a few neat animals and fruits and such.” Crow explained, describing the plains with short, simple words, hoping that Sol understood okay. “Do you want to go there?”

Lupus looked over at Dante and Diana, and the Ayterian would've murmured encouragement to both human and animal, but any words would've been snatched away by the wind before they reached anyone's ears, even Lupus's own. He slowed slightly and pointed in the direction of the mountains, a nice floating island type one with a flat space to land for the zihx. Lupus didn't need much room to land, but the big zihx did. He slowly turned towards it, dropping into a slow descent.
Ice looked up at the Alien,"Hello..."He said quietly.

Takara blinked, pushing a strand of auburn curls out of her face and giving the human a friendly smile. “I'm Takara.” she said, looking down shyly. Takara always did this, as she was a rather shy person, and it was well known amongst the Ayterians. Unlike most Ayterians, Takara was physically no different from humans, and the only real difference was her powers, which was unusually good climbing skills and to make plants grow.

"The city goes this way" she pointed east, beginning to walk with Hallow chirping with excitement. "We walk, it's only a few minutes walk." She replied to his question. "Or we could take a Zihx?" She asked. The creatures that were tamed made good transportation.

He was given a rough shove and he snorted, shoving the Sustu back, "You calm down." Zephyr said, standing up taller and glaring at the large creature beside him. "This is Nova, she's a Sustu, if she bothers you feel free to shove her away, she'll learn to leave you alone."

Kendall looked at Yumil and tilted her head in question and the Muac at her side gave a soft bark like noise then it got louder and she tried to quiet the creature down. "Foxglove, quiet." She said, her gaze returning to who she suspected might be her guide. He looks human though? She thought, wonderingly.

Sar'Ynthia heard his mind echo his words and blinked up at Zephyr as he approached. That's my guide? she thought, confused. But... He's human! Then she caught sight of his horns. Oh. Sar'Ynthia stood and began say "Hello" when she noticed Nova. For a minute, she couldn't figure out whether she should scream or be paralyzed in fear. So, she gave an odd squeal of surprise and fell back onto her butt. "Oooooooh no! Uh-uh, that thing is freaky! Will it eat me? It won't eat me, right?" She could sense Nova probably didn't have a good opinion of her, but as to whether or not it was going to eat her, she couldn't tell quite yet.

Yumil looked over at Kendall and smiled, his pale yellow eyes glowing. He waved one of his sky blue hands as he jogged over to her. He was about halfway there when he stopped, and began to glance around in confusion. "Klondike! Klondike, where are you?" he called. "Klondike, I found her! Come over and say hi!" Silently, a Klon seemed to materialize from nowhere among the large crowd. He approached Yumil with a strange sound that resembled a distorted meow, then followed him over to Kendall. "Hello!" Yumil said cheerfully. "I'm your guide, Yumil, and this is my friend Klondike! You're Kendall, I presume?"

Diana suddenly put herself over Dante, protecting him.

Dante chuckled and patted Diana. "Alright. " He responded. He guessed that Diana sensed the danger of the animals here on the planet. He tried to remember the animals on his own planet, but he couldn't remember. Ugh, Why can't I remember anything!
Lupus watched as Diana stood protectively over Dante and smiled softly, his gray eyes lighting up, then she looked away, towards the far horizon, which had the faintest outlines of trees, dark and foggy against the pale sky. He walked over, wondering if this was anything like Dante's mountains on earth, but he doubted it. “So, these are out mountains, home to nothing but trouble, apart from the kula.” Lupus explained, watching a few of the creatures grazing about a mile away.

"WE'RE HEREE~" August repeated for the second time, the human seeming like he was in the trance. "Welcome to our city!" Hallow mimicked her enthusiasm in a happy chirp, her eyes shining as August scratched her chin and grinned at the human.

Dante tried to recall the information he was told about there creatures. "Kula are the protectors of the mountains.. Correct?" He asked. For someone who has no memory of what his planet and life used to be, he had pretty good memory.

Kei's eyes widened to plates when the realization struck him. "Forest it is! Anyway, you can ride Stell- if you want to," he answered, a bit giddy the opportunity had arisen, "Don't worry! Isens can fly low too, after all."

Zephyr swiftly pulled her to her feet, "Well, if you stay on your feet you should be fine." He said, glancing back at Nova, who looked interested. He pushed the Sustu back and asked, "Where would you like to visit first? There's the mountains, winter, forest, desert, city, or plains."

Kendall smiled, "I am, and wow, Klondike is so adorable." She cooed, "Oh, and this is Foxglove." The girl added upon being shoved by her jealous Muac. "So, where are we going first? Or is there any other places to go?"

With another wary glance at Nova, Sar'Ynthia pondered the different decisions and unintentionally launched herself into Zephyr's memories of them. She breathed in the chill of the Mountains as she wandered among the snowy slopes, then catapulted into Winter, relishing in its beauty. The young girl trekked through the Forest, trying to keep her belongings safe from some mischievous Klon, then panted under the sweltering heat of the Desert. Sar'Ynthia made her way among winding City streets before she finally made it to the Plains, a relaxing breeze letting all her senses drift away aside from a strange, alluring tingling sensation. As Sar'Ynthia was finally released from the Ayterian guide's mind, she became self-conscious, wondering if he had felt her rummaging through his mind or not. Nevertheless, Sar'Ynthia had made her decision. "The Plains," she said, a little more confidently than she had expected. "There's something special waiting for me there -- I can feel it."

Yumil smiled."Well, there's Winter, there's the City, the Mountains, the Forest, the Plains, and the Desert -- to be honest, the Forest is my favorite place, but why don't you decide? They're all good choices, I promise!" Klondike mrrowed his agreement at Yumil's comment on the Forest, then proceeded to approach the human and Muac, sniffing them curiously.

Zephyr nodded, "Alright, let's go." He said, with a small grin, "What do you think is waiting for you?" He asked as they headed off towards The Plains. He could feel her confidence and his grin grew wider, and he rose an eyebrow.

Kendall nodded, "The Forest sounds nice, why not?" She said smiling as she glanced down at Klondike and asked, "What's the jewel thing for?" She begun to wonder if she'd used the word right and searched Yumil's gaze for an answer.

Sar'Ynthia shrugged as they started to walk off. "I honestly don't know. Although, I almost heard a voice whispering to me in that feeling. Perhaps it's a special person I need to meet. Either way, I'm kind of excited to see this world in person. Well, excited and scared."

Yumil glanced down at the brown-striped Klon and smiled. "Well, a Klon's gem has built-in hypnotic abilities that can be activated at will. It seems pretty scary to think that a Klon could hypnotize you just like that, but there's a little-known secret about their gems that I happened to learn when I met Klondike here -- not all Klon gems can fully hypnotize their victims. In fact, their gem's color often has to do with the power behind their hypnotism abilities. A lush, mossy green means the Klon has strong abilities and should be approached with caution. Meanwhile a pale green or blue-green color, like Klondike's teal gem tone, means that the Klon will most likely only have enough power to influence your mind or make you really drowsy. Neat, right?" Klondike gave an affirmative nod and mrrowed, pressing himself against Kendall's arm.
