Briarberry made a mistake.

Her fling with an outsider was supposed to be insignificant, but she's since found out she's pregnant and she can't stand the thought of anyone thinking she's unworthy of being a ThunderClan cat... so she has decided to lie. Since the father was a white cat, and Spiderthroat is mostly white... well, clearly he's the father!

This is the story she's given to her fellow queens, and what her kits will grow up believing - though her time with them will be short. Giving birth to 13 kits is no easy task, and she's simply not equipped to handle it. She dies from complications shortly afterwards but not before she gets to name them.

Meet Spiderlingkit (hopefully) !! Now trust me, do not speak to him. What happens if you do, you may ask? You will be forced into torture of him talking your ear off for the rest of eternity until he finds someone else to bug, or risk him having the biggest meltdown in history. Fun, right?

Anyway, Spiderlingkit is a very very very loud and boastful kitten (Boastful? did I use that right?) and phew he is a pawful. Or two. Or four. Or six-thousand. So uhh, spider-dad u better run.

So spiderling will be very much a pest to his spider-dad, wanting to be stuck on him 24/7 and tell him about everything Spiderlingkit has to talk about and if spider-dad runs away he will have a meltdown and go report to bumblestar. Spiderling shows no mercy. He also brags to the other kits about being the deputy’s son and therefore he’s ‘better then the others’ (despite having the shortest attention span, adhd and not liking training). To her friends and family, she's deeply caring. To others? It depends on how cool you are. A little bit like Gretchen Wieners as a cat (a coincidence I swear!!! c': she's not based off her), but a bit more of a mean girl. As a kit, she'll be very playful and chatty with her littermates and anyone in the nursery. At first, she doesn't really understand Briarberry's passing - infact, she won't really understand the concept of biological mother, she thinks kits just appear. Once another litter's born, it'll finally click: her mother died.

As an apprentice, she's going to struggle with taking things seriously. Bee always wants to chat and gossip with her friends, and training is a bit of a hurdle to this. Bee will often find herself not paying enough attention and trying to have a chat with her mentor, or anyone around.

She's gonna want to chat and play aaaaaaallll the time, cus that's her dad!! That'll be the same up till warriorhood at least - as long as he responds positively, she'll get very attached and be super friendly with him as a warrior =)
Her reaction to her biological father being revealed could depend on her development - since she'll be so attached to Spider, I can imagine she won't actually care much. The idea of "biological" father seems silly to her, who cares about biology when Spider's acted as her dad her whole life?

Basic Info

Butterflykit is a loosely built character. She's open-minded but free willed. She is sometimes controlled by others beliefs or opinions, but always has the option to go back to her own. Her whole premise is feeling as free as flying, until she's caught in someone's web.

Her traits are compromised of...

POSITIVE, to me this is anything I think could come off in a positive way. I will explain. NEUTRAL, traits that are not really too positive or too negative. NEGATIVE, traits are traits that are not neutral at all. For example, manipulative or neglectful.


Traits

Open-minded, she's adaptable to change but also flexible to a small change in schedule. She also takes bad news a lot better than some cats.

Extroverted, she's constantly asking cats questions! She can't even think of the word "draining" to explain any interaction she has. How could she? She loves talking to others!

Free-willed, this is both a positive and a negative trait. Her free will can get her into trouble sometimes when she's careless.

Annoying, the reason why I'm not putting this in negative is because it's more of a positive nagging. Though any characters she interacts with and she does this are free to act as annoyed as they want Lol

Childish, though she might be flexible, she has childish tendencies. Sometimes when she does something she didn't mean to and gets, reasonably, scolded, she'll burst into tears!

Not a Think-twice kind of gal. She often doesn't think about what comes out of her mouth, adding a bit to her childishness, and can offend cats.

Name Meaning's


Butterfly/Monarch;

I chose this name reflecting on what kinds of bugs got caught in spider's webs. I thought it could be used as a metaphor in two ways, one, well to illude to Spider being her "father" and two, to build her character from there on out. She isn't going to be manipulated into anything, just deceived by somethings.

Fly;

Fly would mean the same as above, still following the bug-theme but making a different option. If this one were to be approved I would probably make her more annoying towards her "father." Meaning she would be a like a fly buzzing by your ear, 'cept you can't really get rid of it.

Web;

Again, same kind of traits as in "Butterfly" but this is one is a more obvious nod to Spider. She would essentially just be removed from the whole "more annoying" thing, not that she won't be. She would be more based on the idea of accidentally weaving people into her web. Like getting them into things that she caused kind of thing.

Description

Butterflykit is a mostly orange colored cat, with slight hints of a brown/black among the patches. She has an awful alot of white, making her spots smaller. She has amber eyes with a yellowish undertone.

Her plans consist of, daily pestering and being like a little annoyance to Spider. It's all in a perfectly consistent schedule in her mind of course! Wake up, talk to "dad", go back to bed, play, annoy "dad", go talk to mom, play some more, socialize, then, of course, go annoy "dad" again!!

Brief appearance: She is a poofy white she-cat with light orange-golden spots accommodating her pelt and gleaming yellow eyes. She has a lot of poof on her neck, practically surrounding her own head.

Tell me about them: She has that ‘I’m too good for you all’ attitude a lot of the time, despite being very friendly she seems unapproachable to some cats around her age. She is very invested in her so called ‘father’ and how awesome and cool he is! She would also clung to him a lot, along with bothering BumbleStar whenever she can and interrogate them both. She is a very spirited kit and when she ages into her apprentice moons she’ll get a bit wiser, then acting older than her age. She will feel a bit bad about not having many friends among other apprentices due to her unapproachable attitude, causing her to try and squeeze her way into hanging out with warriors and elders, along with offering to help out her ‘father’ with whatever she can.

Plans to harass Spiderthroat: As slightly stated above, she will actually, physically climb to SpiderThroat, whether on his leg, side, back, or tail. Any way to be attached to him she will go for it. She will also be a bit of a nibbly kit which may get quite annoying (for SpiderThroat and SpiderThroat only). She will also go and try to get BumbleStar to like her just so the leader will bother SpiderThroat about being more interactive with the kits.

Anything else you want me to know: I will turn this kit into my main and get overwhelmed because of the amount of roleplay I have with her, most of which are pestering Spider.
