RiverClan Lionheart Applications

Hi everyone! The Lionheart team is growing! To help facilitate better behavior for RiverClan upon our return to our normal territory, we're looking for three new Lionhearts! I decided to open applications this time, to do something different and see what sort of creative things y'all can come up with!

So, without further ado...

Great communication. In order for the Lionheart team to function effectively and efficiently, we need you to be not just a good communicator, but a great one. Discord is strongly preferred but not required; if you have a Discord, you will be required to join the Lionheart server and remain active in it. Pings, DMs, and VMs relevant to your position should be answered promptly as a general rule!

High activity. Lionhearts need to be more active, both OOC and IC, than regular warriors. I'll go into IC activity expectations below, but in terms of OOC activity you should be checking the site at least a few times a week and we shouldn't need to constantly bump you for time-sensitive roleplays. You should also be assisting the rest of the LH team and the high rank team with monitoring private threads and border threads for problems, and communicating/handling those issues quickly when they're noticed. There's definitely an allowance for hiatuses and periods of reduced activity, but these need to be communicated and within reason. Lionhearts may not take hiatuses or reduced activity periods that last for longer than a month.

Cooperation and patience. Being a Lionheart can be stressful, frustrating, and time-consuming. It isn't as significant of a commitment as being a high rank, but given the state of RiverClan right now I do place an expectation on my Lionhearts that they'll be willing to exercise patience when dealing with RC's overall situation and the activities of its members. When you're given instructions by the HL or a high rank, we need your cooperation!

Maturity. Being a Lionheart means that you hold a special position in RiverClan, both OOC and IC. You are part of what forms the wider community's perception of RiverClan, and you may be the first point of contact for members who have questions or concerns. I expect my Lionhearts to refrain from engaging in arguments, toxic behavior, or any other type of behavior that doesn't foster a welcoming and open environment for others.

High activity. Fadingstar expects his Lionhearts to be more active than the average warrior. They shouldn't be failing patrols or other related duties. Lionhearts are expected to make at least three posts per week; at least one of these posts needs to be in a public thread. Patrol, meeting, and Gathering posts do not count unless otherwise stated. Lionhearts are evaluated frequently by the Head Lionheart to ensure they are active enough.

Good behavior. Lionhearts should be examples for the cats around them. Fadingstar expects them to act mature, level-headed, and well-mannered. They should not be starting unnecessary arguments, disobeying orders, disrespecting the high ranks/Head Lionheart, or otherwise acting in ways that damage their reputation or endanger the Clan. Occasional issues are permissible provided they aren't extreme, but please be mindful to not let it become a frequent thing.

Attendance at events. Lionhearts are expected to attend all meetings and participate in all Clanwide events. Lionhearts are required to make at least two posts at every meeting and at least three posts in Clanwide events. During Clanwide events, they should be actively helping the Clan in whatever way they can; if Fadingstar sees them doing little to help when the Clan is in crisis, they will likely be demoted. Lionhearts must attend at least one Gathering each calendar quarter, and assist any other Lionhearts and high ranks present with monitoring and controlling the Clan.

Responsiveness. If something is going on, Fadingstar expects the Lionhearts to be responsive. You do not need to have your Lionheart get involved in everything, but they should be participating in what they can. All Lionhearts are expected to attend monthly Lionheart meetings; during these meetings, you should be responding within a reasonable timeframe and having your cat actively contribute. If Fadingstar calls your Lionheart to do something, he expects a response unless, of course, you have an OOC reason that you can't.

Cooperation and teamwork. The Lionhearts are a team; if your cat proves unable to work together with their fellow Lionhearts, they will be removed from the team. Critical discussion is encouraged and welcome, but cats who can't handle it when things don't go their way or who can't respect the authority of the HL/high ranks will not last on the team.

If you're interested in applying, give it your all! Putting a lot of effort into your application is a great way to show that you're genuinely interested in this role.

I'm NOT looking for:


Generic forms
Interview-style applications. These have been done to death; come up with something more unique!
Applications that use hard-to-read font colors or styles. If I can't read your application, it will be discarded.
Joke applications. The usual "lol you should totally choose [insert other clan's cat or kit here]" is fine, but please don't make entire applications just as a joke.
Evil cats or cats who intend to betray RiverClan. RiverClan has experienced a lot of strife with its higher ranks over the past six months, so for the time being I'd like to avoid any "evil/traitorous Lionheart" plots.
Apprentices. Fadingstar does not allow apprentice Lionhearts; if you have an apprentice character you'd like to be a Lionheart, keeping them highly active as an apprentice and focusing on getting them to warriorhood is a great place to start!


I AM looking for:


Genuine interest in the role. Please don't apply if you know you're going to have a lengthy period of low activity coming up, or you aren't sure if you want to dedicate time to this role!
Cats who have been an active part of RiverClan for at least one month. New warriors must have at least two IRL months of warrior experience.
Cats who have not been disciplined for something major (i.e. missing a patrol) in the past 30 days.
Cats who don't have a history of problematic behavior in the Clan.
Both OOC and IC reasons why you/your cat is a good fit for this role in your application!

These applications will close on July 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern. Please keep the time zone in mind, as applications posted after this deadline will not be considered! The new Lionhearts will be announced at the August Clan meeting. Any questions can be directed my way!

Russet is currently a 20 moon old RiverClan warrior. He was formerly ThunderClan, but saved Fadingstar and Dovekit from a fox, joining RiverClan in return. Since then, he promised to work three times as hard and do everything he can in order to prove himself loyal [even offering to be demoted to an apprentice and redo his training]

I. The Silent Predator
__________

Golden eyes reflected the dim moonlight, a hidden figure in the leaves' only sign of existence. A heartbeat. But not hers. No, The silhoutte's heartbeat was Silent to the outside world. To her, however, it was like the rhythmic tribal drumbeat of the forest. Nature sounds, of which combine into one singular noise. The sound of home. But home was so far away. All the shadowy figure can do is keep pushing, keep moving forward. One paw in front of the other as she creeps toward the small heartbeat. And the target was spotted. The silhoutte's jaws parted, tastes and smells of the Alpines flooding her focused senses.

Touch. The stones beneath her paws.

Taste. The air is cool and tart around her.

Smell. The small creatures body heat radiates toward her.

Hearing. It's shuffling Fills her ears, which swivel toward her prey.

Sight. The near darkness of the night.

Her breath stirs the leaves blotching her view of the rodent. But a squeal of violence of which cuts off suddenly directs her attention toward a new animal-- the silent Predator that stole her kill. Her meal. Her prey. A rumbling growl built up in her throat as the dappled feline creeps from the brush and her eyes lock on those of a serpent. A jet-black animal with a pale underbelly. In its mouth is the mouse, bloodied tail hanging out of its mouth as the creature swallows the dusky rodent whole. A primitive snarl escapes her now, as she flings herself at the animal. If she kills it before it swallows the mouse, then her clan can eat both the reptilian and the mammal. The silhoutte reveals itself as a felidae as it wrestled Ruthlessly with the scaly hunter, but eventually is able to bite its skull, killing it. Panting now, the Molly takes the mouse from where the snake dropped it in her maw, then the snake. With a satisfied huff, she stalks back to camp, a temporary, forlorn home that seemed helpless in comparison to the Riverside Clan's true home. But for now, this would would the direction homeward, the direction to the most homesickening place in their whole temporary territory.

II. The Ace of Spades
__________

The Ace of Spades Symbolizes luck. To some, this sign means war. To others, it means prosperity. Either way, this sign is the most powerful in many card games. Often seen as inspirational and spiritual, the Ace of Spades may have attributes such as intelligence and leadership. An excellent omen to receive, the Ace of Spades suggests a breakthrough and a new beginning. It is likely that the seeker has been struck with major changes that have brought on deeper wisdom as to why things didn't work out in the past. It Represents transformation, spiritual growth, and self-discovery. Symbolizes the need for inner reflection and introspection. Encourages you to let go of old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve your highest good. In card games, the ace showcases its superiority as the highest-ranking card and can often determine who emerges victorious. The Ace of Spades is a traditional death card, but it is also a card of transformation and rebirth. Ace of Spade personalities are charismatic. They enjoy being physically active In an ideal world, the Ace of Spade dives selflessly into work, without the need for accolades. They balance their work-related ambitions with the emotional needs of those who love them and understand the real journey of life is love.

III. A Throne of Cards

Upon the beach, waves shove upward, then pull back. The sand is wet with saltwater where the water receded, where it will be below the waves (https://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1557871&postcount=1) again and again, slowly wearing away at the sand that always gets covered up and replaced. But slowly, the waves unbury glory, lost to time not so long ago. But this Throne of Cards must be cleaned and studied, to see its true personality and true self. As it's slowly uncovered, be careful with the glass bottle atop the Throne. As it fills with sand, it may wear itself down until it cracks, salty tears desperately trying to escape as an invisible force holds it back. The Throne of Cards is solely made of Ace of Spades, with 52 cards steadily forming a Throne for a queen. The symbol of the Ace of Spades is hand-sketched, made to last until the end of time. (https://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/album.php?albumid=7053) You can try to sit atop the Throne, but a ferocious gust of ocean air defensively guards the glass bottle and the Throne, keeping outsiders away. However, with enough tries, the wind will begin to pull you in, so you may rest against the Throne, calming your exhaustion after your travels. A place to rest safely. The wind will be longer shove you away, but tug at you, longing for your return into The Owner of the thrones heart. The only way to leave is to force the winds back, ignore them heartlessly. But for a little time after that, the wind will still have hope, tugging at you gently before giving up and growing spiteful, shoving you back if you ever try to return. And the heart's winds surrounding the Throne will guard itself once again, unwilling to give you another chance at heartbreak.

IV. An Heir to Trial and Turmoil

As we progress through The Deck of Cards, let us take a moment to closely inspect the forgotten history of the Ace of Spades. Here, let us take the black light and shine it close to the card to reveal its secrets...

Moons 1 through 6

Goldfish was born as Goldkit alongside her sisters, Spottedkit [@/Bean] and Silverkit [NPC... for now] to Cormorantcrash [@/Blaaze] and and unknown rogue. As the youngest, most curious of the bunch, she often got into trouble. Most Most the time however she could count on the middle child Spottedkit (nicknamed Spotty) to bail her out. Silverkit, The eldest, was the most adventurous, fearless kit, as well as the favorite child. At the age of 2 to 3 moons, there was a snowstorm. The kits had been playing hide and seek in the snowdrifts before the storm got too bad to be outside. Silverkit unfortunately froze to death In one of the snowdrifts. Angry and depressed, Cormorantcrash shunned and abused her remaining kits, blaming them for Silvers death. Confused and alarmed, Goldkit turned to Spottedkit for comfort and protection, overall causing Spotty to grow protective and close to Goldkit in her younger years. Goldkit and Spottedkit were adopted by Sunrise and Moonfall [@/Bean, NPCs], but Cormorantcrash murdered both of them directly in front of her kits, ultimately leading to her taking her own life.

Moons 7 through 12

Goldpaw was apprenticed to Duckhunt (NPC) at the age of 7 moons. She grew close to Shellpaw [@/isla] during this time, and even closer to Spottedpaw. Her apprenticeship lacked much trauma, luckily. She became a warrior and was named Goldfish alongside Shellwhisker, Spottedstream, and Pepperbounce [@/Fritter].

Moons 13 through Seventeen

As a young warrior, Goldfish grew distant from most other cats as her mentality developed. She went into an introvert phase, preferring to be alone than socialize. However this didn’t last long after she grew suddenly closer to Shellwhisker after a warriors den interaction. She liked the warriors personality, and enjoyed her company. She temporarily grew apart from her sister.

Moons 18 through present (28)

Goldfish’s life turned wild quickly on the next few moons of her life. She nearly drowned after falling into frozen water, saved by Pepperbounce, and eventually became his mate. She constantly tried to boost his moral, feeling certain he was braver than he thought. During Riverclans leader issues she grew especially close to Minkpaw and Cobwebpaw, enjoying their company and bringing them prey often. Soon she was pregnant with Pepperbounces kits, and had a negative reaction, terrified she wouldn’t be a good mother. She then grew closer to Jayfrost and rebonded with Spottedstream, finding relief in her older sister. When Mistyshard was announced medicine cat and Minkpaw ran away however, she grew panicked and stopped taking care of herself. Minkpaw was like a sister, or daughter, to her, and it broke her heart to see her leave. After One unsuccessful search with Dusklion she became depressed and uncertain. She then went on one more search with Spottedstream and Did find Minkpaw, who rejected coming home. Goldfish then began kitting, and experienced heavy blood loss before having one stillborn and two living kits- Shellkit and Silverkit. Soon she was told Pepperbounce was dead, murdered. It contributed to her depression. Silverkit disappeared. Extra depression. Slowly, however, she began to adapt with heavy help from Jayfrost after Spotty disappeared. Soon however in the mountains Spotty and Silverkit would return, and she has been cured of depression.

V. The Final Hand

Hey hey hey! It’s Blaze here, the one n only! Well, first I’d like to say thank you for reading through this application of my beloved Ace of Spades. This means you’re considering her! Yay! I really appreciate that. I worked long n hard on this application and am very proud that you have read it! Alrighty, into the thick of it. I’m very active on wco and you can expect 1-5 posts per day from me! I do my best to prioritize and encourage people to bump me on Roleplay they think I’ve forgotten. Goldfish is a very dear character to me and has been my main since I joined wco. She gets between two and four posts a week but sometimes more depending on how many Roleplay she she’s in. Goldfish as a whole I think would make a good lionheart due to her loyalty which she has done her best to prove and her neutral attitude toward arguments and issues. She’s not afraid to speak her mind if she thinks there’s a true problem going on either. I love Roleplaying with her and doubt I will (if ever) lose motivation for her. Goldfish overall is a pretty active warrior in Riverclan and I have high hopes for her in the future! You can expect her to be very active and supportive of the clan, trying her best to keep things steady and cooled off. In clan meetings, you,lol see between 2 and 3 if not more posts. Poor baby has been through it. Betrayal, death, and stinging grief. Yet, Goldfish still manages to be such a dedicated Riverclan warrior. She's come a long way from the meeting where Mistyshard was named the medicine cat. Goldfish has shoved her feelings to the side for the goodness and wellbeing of her clan. Despite having a litter, she wouldn't let that bring her down! She's constantly around camp, chatting or trying to make a difference and works tirelessly to assert her loyalty after being in kahoots with Minkpaw Rookpaw Rookfire. Change is a startling thing, and patience even more so. But for the good of all but herself she stands firm in the sights of danger. Love ya gal!

Possibly one of the most reassuring cats I've ever met. Well, besides Jayfrost. Maybe I have the wrong definition of 'reassuring'.... Uhm... Well she's very nice, that's enough for me. Good friends are hard to come by, especially when the cat who's trying to make friends (aka me) looks like a thin ghost of a cat. Considering that, I'm so grateful for her. THE BALLAD OF THE STONE SENTINEL

Beastflame is by no means the most personable or friendly cat. From a young age he has been reclusive and solemn, preferring to dedicate his efforts to achieving skill as a warrior and hunter rather than a popular individual in his clan. Growing up estranged from most of his family, he also failed to make strong connections with his clanmates. He is known of but not known, always a body in the masses watching in silence. Despite this, Beastflame has a deep loyalty to his clan. He has no attachment to any specific leadership, but rather to the wellbeing of the group as a whole, viewing himself as a sort of guardian angel. That is, until he met Snowleap.

ten moons in the past
a mate lost to the wild, a love that couldn’t last

When Beastflame began interacting with Snowleap, he began to open up for the first time in his life. He was slowly consumed by devotion, throwing his values of detatchment and solitude out the window in favor of what he believed to be love. For several moons he found himself as a bodyguard rather than a soldier, and when Snowleap abandoned the clan Beastflame took it personally. At first he couldn't believe that his mate would leave him, refusing to accept the betrayal. This led him to the greatest mistake of his life - following in pursuit.

As the days turned into weeks, he began to realize his search was hopeless. He began to accept that just because he had felt so deeply did not ensure others would do the same. He vowed never to make the same mistake again. Just as he was readying himself to return, a terrible rainstorm drove him to seek shelter. Overwhelmed by the downpour, Beastflame stumbled across a monster path and was struck by one of the strange beasts, left to die on the side of the road. He woke up with no memories of his own past and a nasty wound near his right eye.

memory shattered, a life full of weight

Beastflame spent the next eight moons living as an outsider with a rogue named Flynn, who nursed him back to health. The two were friendly, but both were truly independent characters at heart. Beastflame learned how to hunt in a open field, adjusted to life on his own, and searched his empty memories for what was missing from his heart. One day while hunting near the forest, a Riverclanner's scent found it's way to him. Perhaps it was a wayward warrior or an exiled cat, but the encounter brought all of his memories rushing back at once. As soon as he could, he said his goodbyes to Flynn and began the journey home.

The return to Riverclan was long and hard, both emotionally and physically. He spent the first half in his own head, planning what he would say, pondering about how much he'd missed, and wondering if he would even be accepted back after leaving the clan so blatantly, even if it had been accidental. A couple days into his journey, he was attacked by a badger after accidentally stumbling across it's territory. He survived, successfully chasing off the predator, but not without injury. The beast had landed a blow atop his existing facial wound, reopening the scar and taking his eye. It wasn't long before the opening became infected, and he spent the rest of the trip fighting for his life, until he finally reached the territory and was discovered by his old friend Pebblesplash.

For the first couple weeks upon returning to Riverclan, Beastflame felt as though every move he made was being judged, and rightfully so. He saw the recovery of his memory as a gift from Starclan, renewing his faith in the beliefs he'd always been skeptical of. Pushing all thoughts of lost love and sentimentality out of his head, he dedicated himself to serving the clan, desiring more than anything else to prove his loyalty. His ambition grew and his health returned. He fought his hardest in the battle of Riverclans exile, and although he won his own fight, he viewed their loss as an insult to his family and identity. Now, as the clan ventures into unfamiliar terrain, he is more resolved than ever to protect them at all costs.

you may be asking, "uhhhhh ophie, why did you make me read all that?" and "what the frick does this have to do with being a lionheart??" although i have to admit that part of the reason i wrote all that was because i had fun with his backstory, i do believe that it demonstrates what a great lionheart beastflame would be. he's always been a self-proclaimed guardian angel of the clan, observing from the shadows and loving them in his own unique way. and although he isn't interested in being a leader, he in interested in serving the group to the utmost of his capabilities. he has been a lionheart/shield in the past, right before his disappearance, and although he would never expect that stint to qualify him for the position, it does give him some experience in the role. in addition, the trials he faced while living as an outsider served only to expand his experiences and make him into a more well-rounded warrior with solidified virtues and morals that surround the well-being of Riverclan.

with regards to my own qualifications - i am active, communicative, and involved! beastie is my main character, and i am extremely invested in his continued activity. this gives me plenty of motivtion to ensure that he will be around IC all the time. you're gonna be sick of him! i'm on site every day, and i try to reply to mentions/quotes/messages as soon as i see them. i also have discord and my notifications are always on. :heartbounce:

Rowan'Mane's journey has been one of transformation and unwavering dedication. Once an outsider, marked by scars that told tales of his tumultuous past, he has emerged as a pillar of strength and loyalty within RiverClan. The rough exterior that once signified his solitary life now conceals a heart forged in the fires of adversity and commitment.

Since joining RiverClan, Rowan'Mane has strived to prove himself, even as he grappled with the injuries and emotional scars from his time outside the clan. The downfall that temporarily besieged his new home did not deter him; instead, it fueled his resolve. His efforts during the clan's darkest days, when they faced invasions from other clans, were marked by a fierce determination. Each battle left its mark, some of which will remain with him for life, but these injuries did not break his spirit. Silentstrike is a loyal member of Riverclan, bravely facing all who dare harm his clan and showing his loyalty in many ways. He is extremely determined and resilient, using his wits and confidence to ensure he is able to help his clan. He particularly cares about the wellbeing of the apprentices due to knowing they are the next generation.
He's 47 moons old and has been hard at work helping the clan. He is interested in ensuring his clan is safe and happy, willing to listen to others(how he got his name) and won't rest if people are in danger. He will not give up until he is sure he has done all he can, and allow the others to take over from there.
He will be in a plot where he becomes more open and talkative to his clan.

AN INTRODUCTION
You’ve probably seen it all. Crazy cats, disturbed cats, even hyper ones. But have you seen a cat so emotionally scarred, so backwards yet diagonal yet sideways that you get dizzy reading her dialogue? No? Then you haven’t seen in all. Ready?

you were there.
I remember.
You were there.
Where’d you go?
Blood found deep in the earth.
You were there.

THE BEGINNING
Redwater’s fur is the color of blood. Her eyes are the color of softly scented evergreen trees. She is slender and well-formed, yes major flaws… Redwater is heavily scarred. Her face, shoulders, and back have been torn into by a WindClan warrior.

Redwater is 21 moons old. She was born on the 7th of October, with a brother, Finkit/paw. She grew up with one other litters, consisting of Willowkit/heart, and Fadedkit/shade, and Fadedkit and Willowkit became her best friends, along with her brother. Red’s mother died whenRed was very young, and their father was killed by a fox moons later, slightly after the kits became apprentices.

Apprentice Years (moons 6–10):
Red was mentored by Hazelmuzzle (later dead; @/Blaze!) and was brilliant, skillful, but a little pessimistic, gloomy on some days. She had her mood swings, but was a good apprentice. Her huge dream was becoming a Lionheart. She adored how they seemed so… comfortable in themselves!

Eventually, after many moons of hard training, came the day of Red and Fin’s apprentice ceremony. Red hunted and fought well in her assessment the day before, making her mentor proud. Her brother though? Well… I’ll spare the details and jump right to the point. He was found murdered next to the WindClan border. (Later theories expected he committed suicide).

This destroyed little Redpaw. She had no family left. Ever had that incurable grief where happy memories turn into the worst memories ever?

A KIND OF GRIEF
The horrible sadness that plagued Redpaw crippled her. Destroyed her, really. Her family was gone, her brother was dead… the had to blame someone! How about WindClan? A hatred brewed in her chest. The rabbit-chasers had taken her family away from her, broken her heart, and left her alone inside a community she could depend on. Why would she do that?

Redpaw, having missed her apprentice ceremony and grieved, asked for a second assessment. Hazelmuzzle agreed, and they tried again. Redpaw did well, and received her Warrior name. Redwater. Red found a way to escape her grief, by building a thick, steely shell around herself and her consciousness, making her old lively self trapped deep inside. She became angry, full of herself, and harsh. She wasn’t very popular anymore, I’ll tell you that. No chance of becoming a Lionheart now.

Young Warrior Years (moons 11–17):
Quickly, Red’s friends grew angry with her. This made Red even more angry, and all this succeeded in making everyone uncomfortable. The three argued constantly. It was SO annoying! But this just shows how stubborn Red had become, and is setting up a really sucky part in her life…

Red had a huge fight with her friends. It was horrible. Willowheart stormed off, and her sister chased her down… and the two were never seen again. (Just note that this was around the time when those RC cats were murdered by WindClan.)

Still Young, but Warrior Years (moons 18–21):
The battle came, on Redwater’s 18 birthday. She was excited, and terrified. She had never been in a full scale battle before… the fear overcame her. She had a panic attack, hiding in the warriors’ den, but to no avail did she avoid the battle. She was chased out, mauled, then escaped. Blah, blah, blah, the remaining RiverClan warriors left the area, and Redwater was a hot mess.

She kept freaking out at slight sounds, and sadness poured out of her. It takes a lot to suppress grief. A whole, whole lot. She traveled, but was still a sad shell. She was scarred, scared, and trying to find her place.

CONSTELLATION BREAK!
Okay, okay. Time for some me fun! I’m constellation, but I like Stella as well. I’m an AFAB (She/Her), crazy, a self-taught artist, world’s biggest loser (trust me, mean nicknames you got in school are weak compared to the ones I got), and I take pride in making up terrible stories. Hi!

I’m a perfectionist. I really am. I HATE typos. I swear, if there is a typo on my gravestone I will come back and haunt every funeral director who ever walked the earth.

I used to have a big thing where I did power-play, but I am actually thinking out my posts now (yay) and power play has been reduced! WOOT! (You may also be privileged with the fact that I like that little caps lock button…)

I own a lot of characters throughout the Main + Alt, and trust me it is hard keeping up with all these characters! I have to say, Redwater is the one I spend the most time/work on, and I am really proud of how far she has come. Making her a Lionheart has been my wish ever since I made her (and figured out what a Lionheart was). I am ENTIRELY okay with the fact that she might get declined the role. Totally. totally.

I’ve been told I’m patient, but I also write posts at super speed, once I get started. I’m mostly active, getting on at least once a day, for several hours, trying to spread as many posts as I can before six. (I always get on after 4:00pm EST) I may be young, but I was raised by my parents to be a kind person, trying to make people feel happy. I’ve made mistakes, and I try to fix them, but mistakes are natural! I’m also trying to ignore the horrible start to WCO I had, ha. ha…

Okay. Should we return to the main event here? Best part is comin’ up!

WHY SHOULD SHE BE LIONHEART?!
Very good question.
After the move, Red began assisting with the kits. She was kind, trying to care for them so the tired queens could rest. She was trying to apply herself, and help the clan move on, make a new home.

Then she was gifted an apprentice, Starrypaw! Red tried to welcome the new apprentice, a former outsider, into the Clan and help her become a brilliant young apprentice.

THEN she gained a small crush on Deerspark… or is it big????

Her life was improving… is it true she has something to go on for? To look forward to? And her old dreams are alight again! She started looking at ow Seab and other a Lionhearts do their jobs, and she tries to act that way too. But grief wil always be there. Know that.

Lionheart actions, just watching them made Redwater know that she had to be one. She had to help, and be a leader for everycat.

She wants to help her clan, make them better, stronger so they can go and BEAT UP WindClan. (That’s a rivalry that will never fade…)

Her heart lies with her Clan now. She will go down with this ship. She will never abandon them, never turn away.

When you have had everything torn away from you, aside from the sadness there is a deep hope, a desire that most cannot find. Redwater has found it. Now, this desire is no easy thing to understand. It is something, a wish for something more. Some reason to love again. Some reason to help. To heal others to heal oneself.

I knew it.
they need me, as much as they need every warrior.
I have to become a leader within.
A Lionheart.
I have to help and live for these cats.
Never again
Will I turn away
Now I will fight battles
For my Clan.
No.
Matter.
What.

CONCLUSION

I spent a lot of time on this, and I hope Redwater is considered before you say no. Because that is inevitable. Even I wouldn’t pick her (yes I would yes I would yes I would) and I am really excited to see what happens.
