The Light Can't Scorch The Shadows

Many moons ago there was a large group of ferrets that lived in harmony with one another, one half of the group had Albino pelts, and the other half Sable pelts. One night after the feast, that took place once every moon, the Albino pelted ferrets attack the Sables, sending them running for their lives after a brutal fight. The group that stayed in the tunnels named a new leader, Kerabah. Kerabah was a cruel leader who punished for anything and you were lucky if he didn’t kill you for stepping out of line. Kerabah hated the Sables and if any ferret in his group saw one they killed them.

After the Sables left a kind, generous leader made herself known. Belle, she was caring and hated to punish any ferret. She believed they could never do anything wrong. Her fear of the Albinos grew as more and more the others stopped coming back to the tunnels. Belle moved her group even farther away and they took over another set of underground tunnels, hoping their problems would fade away.

Now after moons of living in peace a new leader has made himself known in the group of Albinos, and he’s believed to be worse than Kerabah. As this news came to the group of Sables their new leader, Rosy, hoped to make peace with the Albino leader, Dante. But peace was far from their minds as they met. They ended up falling in love but upon finding out she was pregnant Rosy stopped meeting with Dante and feared for the kits she would birth. Six were Sables but the other two were Albinos and Rosy swiftly gave them to Dante, and there they promised never to meet again. Just days after Dante brought the kits back to live with his group he vanished. Leaving the Albinos without a leader.

This rp will start with Dante and Rosy’s litter being around ten moons old. They don’t know that they’re half-breeds and they most likely will not know until they’re much older.
