Before I post Firetail doing Hunting and border and herb collecting spree, after his hunt do I have to tell the leader what he caught so they can edit the prey pile?

You'd submit your character's hunting session as a patrol --> then add what they found under 'new additions,' which'll update the prey pile. You can follow this guide (https://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71154) to do so and consult its FAQ if you have questions!
