You've read Harry Potter, haven't you? The multi-million-dollar book series that brought fame and money to an author that knows nothing about the true magic of the world. An author that could not ever understand the inner-workings of our dying world, creating a false world to entertain children and the occasional adult without ever stopping to consider the true magic in their hands.

Welcome to the School of the Elements, a school hidden from modern-day technology and people. Only a select few are chosen to attend this school, coming from all over the world. Well versed in the ancient magics from the days of dragons and kingdoms, your education here will be an exciting one. Turning away from modern-day subjects like Math and English, your education will instead be filled with subjects such as Magical Theory, Spell-Casting, and more.

|| Magic Classes ||
As soon as you are accepted into the school, you must choose one magical class to study.

|| Air/Wind ||

One of the weaker classes of magic, students who take on learning the ways of controlling the air and wind around you are often looked down upon and will find themselves the victims of bullying if they aren't careful enough. However, this class of magic is less temperamental and easier to learn then, say, water magic or fire magic. Depending on how much you use your magic will determine if you begin growing feathers. Yes, feathers. The air magic developing in your body will begin concentrating in small amounts on your back and parts of your arms and legs to give you a smoother ride during wind-riding. The feather color will reflect your hair color. Your personality does not change in any way.

+ Aerokinesis - manipulate the air, wind, and gas.
+ Aeroportation - teleport using air/wind currents.
+ Air Mimicry - transform into a cloud of gas, fog, or mist.
+ Deoxygenation - suck up all the oxygen from a place.
+ Lung Adaptation - breathe anywhere.
+ Wind Generation - create blasts of air.
+ Pure Wind Manipulation - create and control pure winds.

|| Earth ||

Earth magic is less of a weaker class, and more of a defensive class. If used in the correct way, however, this type of magic can be used to create a deadly offense. Earth magic is typically calmer than the other types, but isn't easy to practice. Earth magic trainees are typically stronger than the others. Users who have practiced the magic for a while will begin developing gray, rougher patches of skin around their feet and hands, and some may even develop different types of plants growing in the rough patches. Why? With how much your body is manipulating the earth magic by touching the ground in some way, your body will begin becoming "one with the earth" and it will become easier and easier to practice. Don't worry, the gray patches won't consume your entire body. You may become calmer in personality.

+ Geokinesis - control, manipulate, and reshape the earth at will.
+ Crystallokinesis - manipulate minerals and crystals.
+ Ferrokinesis - manipulate metal at will.
+ Fraxikinesis - manipulate burnt matter.
+ Geo-Thermokinesis - manipulate, control, and create lava, magma and volcanoes.
+ Golem Creation - make golems out of inanimate materials like rocks, wood, plants, magma, etc.
+ Granulation - can turn things into sand.
+ Halokinesis - control and manipulate salt.
+ Hyalokinesis - control and manipulate glass.
+ Koniokinesis - manipulate and control dust particles.
+ Psammokinesis - can control and manipulate sand.
+ Terrakinesis - control, manipulate and alter/reshape the surrounding terrain and landscape at will.
+ Terraportation - teleport via the earth and earth-based materials.
Pure Earth Manipulation - Create, manipulate and control pure and good earth minerals.

|| Fire ||

Fire magic is very temperamental element to work with. Students who have chosen fire as their Magic Class shouldn't expect to master it as quickly as the other elements. Fire magic isn't only hard to master, but it changes you. In order to deal with the heat, the magic in your body begins concentrating into scales to help protect your body from deadly burns. The scales mainly concentrate around your hands and wrists, fading away by the time it reaches your shoulders. Your neck also begins to grow the scales, covering your chest and major arteries to keep them safe from flames. The inside of your mouth becomes smoother and a special type of bacteria begins growing that protects your mouth from the searing heat of the fire breath. Users will often become more fiery in personality.

+ Pyrokinesis - create, control and manipulate fire, flame and heat.
+ Fire Breath - breathe out flames.
+ Geo-Thermokinesis - manipulate lava, magma and volcanoes.
+ Heliokinesis - manipulate and control the sun and sunlight.
+ Hell-Fire Manipulation - Generate and control flames of hell.
+ Holy Fire Manipulation - Generate and control flames of Heaven.
+ Inflammation - burn things.
+ Melting - heat molecules to melt things.
+ Plasmakinesis - can control plasma.
+ Pyrotechnics - create fireworks.
+ Self-Detonation - explode self and reform.
+ Thermokinesis - create, control and manipulate heat.
+ Pyroportation - teleport or move though fire.

|| Water ||

Water is an emotional element, and practicing of it, of course, requires a certain emotional state for each individual practicing it. Of course, each emotional state will always be different for each user- one may rely on anger, the next may rely on sadness, and another may rely on happiness. There is no physical changes or personality changes that occur when practicing this element.

+ Hydrokinesis - manipulate and control liquid water and mold it into any desired shape or form.
+ Aquatic Adaptation - adapted to underwater living.
+ Aquatic Respiration - breathe underwater.
+ Dehydration - absorb water.
+ Hydroportation - teleport across short or long distances through liquid water.
+ Water Mimicry - turn into liquid water.
+ Water Generation - generate water.
+ Holy Water Manipulation - create, manipulate and control graceful waters.

|| Darkness ||

Because of this over-powered power, I will only accept five applications with this power.

Darkness is a difficult power to master, but once you've achieved in mastering it, the world is your oyster. Students practicing this are monitored closely in order to make sure that the idea of power won't consume them and turn them into a monster. This type of magic can be deadly, and in some cases something worse than death can happen because of this type of power. Physical changes begin almost as soon as you cast a powerful spell, as runes of dark magic begin appearing on your back in a painful black ink that seems to do the opposite of glowing. The black light seems to dim the area, rather than lighten it up. Eventually, the runes will begin making their way on your neck, to your chest, down your arms and even towards your head. Your eyes will begin changing color as well to a deep red, and your pupils will become cat-like. Fangs may begin growing from your mouth, horns may begin to form, and wings will begin to sprout from your back. Your personality may stay the same if you're careful enough, but if not you may spiral out of control and begin becoming angry, easily frustrated, and full of hate. Those who sign up for this power must go through a grueling test process in order to be deemed worthy enough to attempt taming the powers of the dark.

+ Umbrakinesis - can manipulate and control darkness or shadows.
+ Animated Shadow - Animate one's shadow.
+ Light Absorption - block out light in an area.
+ Night Vision - see in the dark.
+ Sacred Darkness - create holy darkness.
+ Shadow Camouflage - be unseen in shadows.
+ Shadow Mimicry - become a shadow.
+ Umbrageous Teleportation - teleport via the shadows and darkness.
+ Dark Wind Manipulation - create and control corrupted winds.
+ Black Earth Manipulation - Create, manipulate and control corrupted and evil earth minerals.
+ Dark Water Manipulation - create, manipulate and control evil and dangerous waters.
+ Black Lightning Manipulation - create and control the darkest lightning.
+ Dark Light Manipulation - create the darkest light in existence.
+ Nether Manipulation - manipulate the final, unholiest element.

|| Electricity/Lightening ||

Electric magic is almost the opposite of Earth magic. It is wild, almost untamable and full of energy and life. Like Earth Magic, this magical class is hard to control and may take up almost all of your time to be able to master enough spells to pass your first year. However, once you master the magic type, the spells will come easily to you. Physical changes will include lighter hair with darker ends, lightning scars will begin appearing and your personality may become wilder.

+ Quintessence Force - generates whitish-blue lightning that also contains pure life energy.
+ Electrokinesis - control, generate or absorb electric fields and shoot lightning bolts.
+ Activation & Deactivation - turn stuff on and off.
+ Positron Manipulation - control positrons, the antimatter counterpart to electrons.
+ Electrical Absorption - absorb electricity.
+ Electric Mimicry - transform entire body into a lightning-like being of pure electrical energy.
+ Electrical Transportation - teleport with lightning.
+ Divine Lightning Manipulation - create and control the brightest lightning.

|| Energy ||

This is the easiest ability to learn to learn due to it's deep connection to the human mind and body, rather than the wild elements. However, your emotions must remain calm and collected rather than wild in order to be able to complete the spells completely and safely. There is no physical change that occurs from learning this branch of magic, however your personality will change to a calmer and more collected state.

+ Dynamokinesis - manipulate existing energy.
+ Energy Blast - create blasts of energy.
+ Energy Emission - release energy.
+ Quintessence Force - create and manipulate unique form of electrical and life energy.
+ Mana Manipulation - manipulate magical energies.
+ Chi Manipulation - manipulate metaphysical life energies.
+ Electricity Manipulation - manipulate electricity and electrical fields.
+ Energy Manipulation - manipulate and/or generate energy.

|| Ice ||

Frigid and cold, this element of magic isn't as difficult to learn as one might think. While Water trainees will not be able to manipulate ice due to it's solid and unmovable structure compared to the swift moving and liquid state of water, to those who learn Ice Magic first it will be rather simple. However, the process of being able to use it properly is a hard undertaking including scenes that movies would be proud of, such as sitting in the snow with nothing more than your underwear. The physical changes that this element brings is white hair, and ice-blue eyes. Your hands will become extremely cold, and may even become covered in frost if left still for too long.

+ Cryokinesis - control ice, snow and other forms of frozen water.
+ Freeze Breath - freeze things in solid ice.
+ Freezing - lower the temperature in kinetic atoms to freezing temperatures.
+ Frigokinesis - control snow either as precipitation or already on the ground.
+ Ice Mimicry - have a body made up of ice
+ Ice Beam - shoot beams of freezing energy.
+ Ice Generation - generate ice, similar to Water Generation.
+ Ice Absorption - absorb ice.

|| Light ||

Because of this over-powered power, I will only accept five applications with this power.

Light is the easiest to master, yet the hardest to learn. Does that make sense? Well, it all boils down to one simple thing: Learning it harder, but once you learn how to do something, mastering it is the easy part. These students tend to become the ones who stand up for what is right, stand against the bullies, and often are the kindest and gentlest. The physical changes for this magical type are the most beautiful and gentle in appearance as the casters hair becomes flowing and full of light. You become taller, and more willowy. Scars are healed, and wounds are mended. Your eyes will change colors to reflect your mood, and you will be able to conjure up wings of light that look almost like angel wings. Your personality will only change if you want it.

+ White Light Manipulation - create the purest light in existence.
+ Photokinesis - create and manipulate pure light.
+ Force-Field Generation - create protective shields of solid photons.
+ Invisibility - be unseen.
+ Laser Emission - bend light wavelengths to create lasers.
+ Light Absorption -absorb the light around you.
+ Light Generation - emit blinding light or glow in the dark.
+ Light Mimicry - take on the traits of light.
+ Photoportation - teleport by using photons.
+ Projective Invisibility - turn other things invisible.
+ Evil Banish - banish all spirits of evil and black magic.
+ Light Manipulation - manipulates light and photons.

|| Weather ||

Weather is the third strongest power that one could practice, however there is only a small amount of spells that one can master. It is one of the harder elements to master. There is no changes in personality or looks.

+ Atmokinesis - manipulate the various aspects of the weather by using water, ice, fire, earth, air, and lightning/electricity.
+ Atmokinetic Resistance - immunity to all weather-based abilities and effects.
+ Atmokinetic Sensing - sense the future weather patterns.

|| School Rules ||
** Obviously, as a roleplayer, you do not have to follow these rules. **

- Non-magical pets must stay inside the dorms during school hours to avoid accidents with magic that may cause deadly harm to students as well as the animals.
- First and Second years may only practice magic on the training field or in the classroom.
- Bullying is not tolerated.
- Same-sex couples are prohibited.
- Students are prohibited from visiting the dorms of the other sex.
- Skipping class will result in a ten-day detention.
- Skipping detention will result in being expelled.
- Students are not allowed to leave school grounds during the school-year, unless there is a field-trip or holiday.
- Using magic on another student without consent is prohibited.

But eventually it stopped when Naruto found out and they escaped that town and eventually found a family to care for them. They are now strong happy teens interested in magic and helping the world but he can't help but feel that the nice man is still looking for his prized killer.

Personality: Somewhat rash and anxious, Ray keeps to himself. He doesn't like confrontation and avoids fights to the best of his abilities. He never really turns in any works or makes an effort in class, because he fears how poorly he can mess up. Outside of his social life and school life, no one really knows what he does on his free time. It is also unknown what may happen how Ray will react to the dark magic he studies.

Weaknesses: lack of confidence, never really tries, always too quiet, pushover
Strengths: can take a lot before he gets upset, believes everyone else has a great potential and tries to reassure people when they doubt themselves, albeit he is usually pretty shy about it

So, yes, Madame Raven may have mastered two Magical Classes, but she can only have mastered Light, or Dark, and another, less powerful element. Does that make sense?

The roleplay is now beginning!

Ms. Alabaster Ingrid was a woman of many talents. Mastering two elements was a feat for anyone, and it earned her a seat on the grand council of Magi. Yes, that was spelled right. Magi, pronounced Mag-I, was the complete council of Magic and the Elements, which also happened to be much like the Board of Education. Certainly, Ms. Ingrid was fortunate. Snapping her thoughts back to the matter at hand, Alabaster Ingrid took one look at the accumulated students before her, each one a first year. First-Years, unlike the usual standard system for schooling, could begin at any age. It was only until they mastered a certain amount of spells in their Elemental Class that they could graduate into Second-Years, and continue their education.

These First-Years looked to be disappointments. Not a single one looked like they would impress the stoic Head-Teacher, and it was likely that none of them would. She could even spot a few... homosexual children in the crowd, just by how they looked. She shivered slightly in disgust at the thought. Tapping on the mic set into the podium, she smiled thinly at the students organized in front of her. "Welcome to the Elemental School of Magic." The woman spoke, her gaze roaming over the crowd until her eyes focused on Peter. Her lip curling with disdain at the boy's obvious shy nature. "I trust you all have signed up for your Class of Magic you will be practicing. With enough focus, I am sure you will be able to move onto being a Second-Year by the end of the year. If not, you will have next year to continue your training as a First-Year. Furthermore, there are a few... rules that need to be addressed."

"Starting at this very moment, non-magical pets must stay inside the dorms during school hours to avoid accidents with magic that may cause deadly harm to students as well as the animals. First and Second years may only practice magic on the training field or in the classroom. Bullying is not tolerated. Same-sex couples are prohibited. Students are prohibited from visiting the dorms of the other sex. Skipping class will result in a ten-day detention. Skipping detention will result in being expelled. Students are not allowed to leave school grounds during the school-year, unless there is a field-trip or holiday. Using magic on another student without consent is prohibited. The violation of these rules will result in detention, which takes away from your training and will delay your advancement onto your Second-Year of study." Ms. Alabaster Ingrid snapped her fingers, and the wind drifted over the students to provide each of them with a scroll. "This is your class schedule, as well as the information such as where your classes are and where your dorm-room is located. School begins at six-thirty sharp Monday morning, giving you two days to get used to your new life at the school. Food can either be bought at the restaurants around the school, or served for free in the cafeteria from six to ten in the morning for breakfast, twelve to two for lunch, and four to six for dinner. You are dismissed." With that, Alabaster dissolved into a gaseous cloud and disappeared.

(Okay, so the Head-Teacher hates homosexuals. She isn't afraid of them, but she is disgusted with them. She's a traditional woman. THIS DOES NOT REFLECT HOW I REALLY THINK.)

Sasuke looks at the scroll reading it a bit before Naruto jumped onto Sasukes back but he stood like a stone. Naruto laughs softly " come on Sasuke at least look at me" he says stubbornly as Sasuke just read on " too busy " he says calmly as Naruto huffs " so cold! "

Harry was in the very heart of the crowd during the speech. He took note of Ms. Alabaster's body language, narrowing his eyes and unintentionally let them twitch vigorously. The new student couldn't stand the rules, although he was also aware he couldn't be out of line if he wanted to remain enrolled. Once the crowd dispersed, Harry weaved through the masses of students, unsure where to go. He searched for someone to talk to.

Ray rose from his seat, his head down and avoiding eye contact. He didn't want to be one of those cliche shy kids, but he couldn't help but feel as if he was drowning within all of the commotion.

Peter flinched, feeling Ms. Ingrid's eyes on him. He chewed on his bottom lip, tearing at the soft, light pink skin and making it bleed. He played his his hands in his lap, looking down and listening to her rules. Only one really caught his attention. Same-sex couples are prohibited. He grimaced at the law. That was insane. Rolling his eyes, Peter knew he didn't have to follow that law. Going by his own principles and interests, Peter was going to love who he wanted to love, and nobody was going to stop him.

Fixing his dark brown hair, Peter focused his pale green eyes on other students. Ross, for example, looked quite bored. Peter sighed quietly to himself, Ms. Ingrid's voice drifting off and becoming muted. Scanning the room, Peter's gaze landed on Sasuke and Naruto. Sasuke looked dead-serious, no source of joy or laughter in his eyes. With slightly narrowed eyes, black hair, and crimson red eyes, Peter couldn't help but feel highly intimidated by him. Looking at Naruto now, Peter immediately received a happy go-lucky vibe from the cheerful man. Cracking the smallest of smiles, Peter focused his undesired attention back on Ms. Ingrid, sighing again under his breath.

Remembering the times, Peter pulled out a small notepad and pen from his right pocket, scribbling down the schedule. As a cool gust of wind rushed past Peter, he quickly looked up, watching a scroll land in front of him on his desk. Tenderly picking it up, Peter untied the ribbon that bound the letter and opened it up, scanning the sheet. As Ms. Ingrid disappeared, Peter relaxed his body in relief.

Ross narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest as he stared down Ms. Ingrid, almost as if challenging her. He was incredibly bored, but he didn't want to shift his appearance or mood in any means whatsoever. Glancing around at a few more students, Ross began studying them and their movements. Peter, for example, was clearly the shy-type. Sasuke was the cold-hearted jock. Naruto, perhaps, was a bookworm who loved to play. Ross couldn't quite categorize him, but that was the best he could come up with.

Seeing the Head Teacher suddenly disappear into a cloud of smoke stunned Ross for a moment, growing stiff. He wanted to know how to do that. However, little did Ross know, his attitude and fiery personality was far from being able to master that ability. But, it was nice to admire from afar, and to have big dreams. Intently reading his scroll, Ross narrowed his eyes some more, grimacing at some of the classes he had and where he would be staying. He hoped that at least the dorms would look nice.

Already, Kai knew that he did not like her, and as he gazed at the odd assortment of other kids, he was having his doubts about this. For he wasn't used to large groups if people, and really had a preference for being by himself, steering clear if trouble and keeping his mouth shut and head down.

Pets? We can have pets? He wondered, realizing that he had not known this. If he had, it wouldn't have been much use anyways, because Kai didn't even own a pet, but still, it was good to know. The short silvery haired sixteen year old sighed, shaking his head and eyeing the crowd, the scroll unread in his small long fingered hands. He hadn't even so much as glanced at it yet, but he would read it later.

Sasuke begins to nod as he finished reading " im done what do you-" Naruto smiles happily as he grabs Sasukes hand " they have a pet shop!!" He says happily and almost immediately Sasuke had his full attention on the sunny boy " lead the way" he says in his dark husky voice. Naruto laughs softly " you always did love animals well ... I don't know where it is but maybe .." he sees peter and immediately walks up to him with Sasuke following like a dog and he taps peters shoulder " hello~ do you know where the pet shop is?" He asks kindly while Sasuke looks at peter but that's his eyes and face he almost looked like he was coldly glaring at peter which he was not and was just excited to head to the shop but only Naruto could tell since he's been around Sasuke for a long while.

He asks kindly while Sasuke looks at peter but that's his eyes and face he almost looked like he was coldly glaring at peter which he was not and was just excited to head to the shop but only Naruto could tell since he's been around Sasuke for a long while.

Peter flinched at the sudden tap, lifting his head to look up at Naruto. His eyes widened a bit and he hesitated answering, not that adept to conversations at the moment. Nodding slightly, he stood up, gently pushing his scroll inside his backpack. He nodded and his lips curled into a small smile. Peter actually was interested in visiting the pet shop as well, intent on getting a kitten. Glancing at Sasuke, Peter flinched again, becoming even more intimidated by Sasuke's cold glare and grim expression. Walking ahead of the boys, Peter led them to the pet store, glancing at his watch.

Ross watched Peter, Sasuke, and Naruto leave, overhearing their conversation about a 'Pet-shop'. Well, Naruto did the talking. Peter simply nodded, and Sasuke was just scaring the poor boy. Watching them leave, Ross sighed, then he decided to trail behind them. He wanted to visit the shop as well. Just to look at the animals.

Amelia bit her lip as she listened to Alabaster Ingrid, holding onto her scroll as it was given to her. No same-sex couples? But that's just... wrong... She wasn't sure, but that was a trait of practicing a certain type of Magic, but she wasn't sure what it was... She would have some studying to do later. Standing up along with everyone else, a shiver ran down Amelia's spine as she thought of Ms. Ingrid, clutching the scroll close to her as she made her way over to the pet store. She had wanted a pet for so long, but her parents never allowed it. They were allergic to dogs, cats, feathers, and didn't think snakes and rodents counted as pets. Frowning slightly at the thought of her parents, Amelia made her way timidly into the store, the meowing and barking lifting her spirits slightly. She was thinking of getting a male kitten, but she'd take anything as long as she could have a genuine friendship with them. Strolling down the small aisle, Amelia stopped suddenly as her eyes met with deep blue ones. The kitten was pure white with blue eyes, and he was male. His tail faded to black, and his paws were also black. Beautiful... She reached through the bars with her fingers, and the kitten gently purred, rubbing his head against Amelia's hand.

'Awwing' gently, Amelia studied the sign on the cage. Her heart nearly broke when she saw that the kitten was meant to be put down in a few hours, due to nobody claiming it. The kitten wasn't named, and the kitten's breed was a Maine Coon, a cat that lives for a rather long time, and can grow to rather large sizes. "Oh my..." She whispered, stroking the kitten's fur gently. "I'll adopt you little one." She murmured, before looking over at where the shopkeeper sat. "Um, I'd like to adopt this little kitten over here." She said softly, still stroking the kitten. His soft fur and gentle purr relaxed her.
The man glanced up. "Thirty dollars." He said simply, holding out his hand.
"That little?" Amelia muttered to herself, before taking out the money and handing it to the man. "Thank you sir. Um, how much does it cost to buy the products needed to care for the kitten-"
"Fifty dollars." Was his flat response as he turned another page in the magazine. "Everything here is cheap so that the students can focus on their learning, rather than earning money to buy what they want."
"Oh." Amelia forked over the fifty dollars, struggling to pick up the large box that contained everything she needed. As the man unlocked the door, Amelia fell over with a 'oof', staring up at the man with disbelief as he walked right past her without helping her up, only tossing the kitten at her. She caught the little tom, giving the man a small glare before sitting up.

Peter felt as if someone was staring at him. Glancing over his shoulder, Peter saw Sasuke's hard gaze trained right on him, and he bit his lip again, quickly looking away and staring straight ahead. Feeling slightly scared, Peter quickened his pace, rounding a corner and pushing open the door to the pet store. Looking around, he saw a small girl crouched to the ground, petting a small kitten through the cage. Smiling to himself, Peter looked at Naruto, as if to say, Here's the Pet Shop. He nodded curtly before turning and walking past the girl, scanning the kittens and feeling his heart swell with adoration.

Falling to his knees in front of one of the kennel's, Peter smiled gently at a Ragdoll kitten. With beautiful blue eyes and a soft coat, Peter immediately knew he wanted this one. The tiny kitten was currently curled up on it's mat, watching Peter curiously with a slightly tilted head.

Turning towards the shopkeeper, Peter sighed quietly. Time to socialize. "Umm.. Excuse me, Sir.." Peter's voice was soft and smooth, like warm milk chocolate. He pulled out his wallet, taking out eighty dollars. "I'd.. I'd like to buy this kitten as well, please.." He set his money down on the counter, looking at the man with his pale green eyes.

Ross nodded and smiled. "Yes, Indeed I am. Might I ask what your name is? I'm Ross." He walked in with Naruto, Sasuke and Peter, but his attention was quickly directed towards Amelia. "Well." A young man huffed as he walked in. Sage Barrows was much taller than Naruto, and barely taller than Sasuke, standing at six feet and eleven inches. "That was unpleasant to watch. Honestly, who tosses a kitten?" He took a moment to pet the cat before turning to glare at the man. "And this poor woman had to wait for someone else to help her up, instead of being offered a hand by the shopkeeper, who was right there when she fell! Now, I would like to buy a purebred husky. I believe three hundred dollars should cover everything? Good." He spoke before the man could even open his mouth, snatching the keys away from the rude man and unlocking the kennel doors for Sasuke and himself. "Now I hope your superiors will be able to knock some sense in that dense head of yours." He clipped a collar around the husky, nodding at Sasuke, Naruto and Peter as he walked by, holding the box with ease and walked right out.
Amelia took Ross' hand shyly. "Th-Thank you." She said softly, holding the kitten close with a blush. "I-I'm Amelia."

Shaking off his nervousness and fear, Peter approached the large Dorm, walking in and heading towards his room.

The small kitten purred against Peter, nuzzling him gently and attempting to ease his stress.

Peter had set up everything, putting the food and water dishes at the foot of his bed, as well as constructing the small climbing tower and scratching post. He didn't purchase a bed, knowing that cats normally sleep wherever they deem comfortable. Setting his kitten on his bed, he smiled, gently stroking his head before deciding on a name. "Tigger.." He said softly, scratching the his kitten behind the ear. Flinching at the sudden knocking, Peter looked up and headed towards the door. This must be my roommate. He thought with a gentle smile, opening the door and coming face to face with Sasuke covered in creatures.

With wide eyes, Peter eyed the snake and the dog, his heart immediately quickening. Though it was just a puppy, Peter had very bad history with dogs, and as for snakes, they just creeped him out. "I.. Sure." He hesitated before standing up and kissing the top of Tigger's head. "Stay here, Tigger. I'll be back later, I promise. I'm just going swimming." He smiled, petting his head with a gentle smile. He then slid his shirt off, revealing many, many large and small claw mark scars on his back. He walked towards his dresser, pulling out some swim trunks before heading into the bathroom to put them on.

Peter went stiff, looking down at Tigger in his lap before biting his lip. "I... Um, well.." He hesitated, before nodding slightly. "My ex-boyfriend let his dogs out on me.." He whispered. "They attacked me, and all he did was laugh.. He left me there, on the street, covered in my own blood, until someone came around and took me to the hospital.." Peter whimpered, biting his lip harder to hold back tears. Taking a shuddering breath, Peter let one tear slip down his cheek as he quickly wiped it away. "It's okay, though.. He's gone, and all the dogs are dead.."

Other than being covered in scars on his back, Peter had a nice, lean build with some slight muscle definition. He wasn't completely skin and bones, but he was pretty slim.

When the hawk eyes of Ms. Ingrid had landed on him, he scoffed, even giving a small smirk. Really? Bexley wasn't into anyone, really. Sure, he could have a relationship, but nothing serious. He folded his arms and rolled his eyes, that smirk never leaving his lips. The rules sounded ridiculous, but he could follow them. Anything to stay out of that God-forsaken orphanage. Don't get him wrong, he loved New York, but the kids there were treated like adults, and garbage at best. He was glad to be out of there. He had one year left until he was thrown into the dangerous city with just his pocket money from whoever would hire him for odd-jobs. He had scars from those jobs. Some kids had it better off than him in that orphanage, some had it worse. He only wished he could have brought some along with him, but he could only support himself.

Sighing, he took the scroll that was thrown out in front of him, unrolling it carefully. Old school. He read over it, almost grimacing at the amount of classes he had. "Guess that means no free-time.." Bexley mumbled to himself, rolling the scroll uptight and shoving it in his jacket pocket. It didn't say when classes started, but he might as well figure out where the Earth wing was. And where his dorm was. And who he'd be rooming with. He didn't sign whether he cared or not on the application, but chances were, he'd have a roomie. He wasn't completely opposed to the idea, as long as they kept out of his way and left him alone.

Vince had met the woman's eyes with a fire that matched the poison on her tongue when she talked about homosexuals. Really? Same-sex couples would be prohibited? If she really thought anyone, not just Vincent, would follow that rule, maybe she shouldn't be the head. He chewed thoughtfully, almost aggressively on a toothpick in his mouth. He suspecting smoking wouldn't be tolerated either, but that wouldn't be stopping him to pop one out back. Same concept.

He sighed, almost ripping the scroll out of Ingrid's hand as she passed it to him, and he didn't care enough to see if she gave him a stern look or not. Vince was careful not to rip it while opening it though. Energy magic? Really? He hadn't filled out his own form, his parents had. Energy magic sounded boring, really. But he sighed, he'd deal. Vincent Coles was a stubborn one, no matter what it came of. Vincent mumbled to himself, "That head is such a load of--"

"Hey Vinny!" Bennet said almost too loud, quieting himself once he realised his brother hated that nickname. But he slid over, having sat on the other side of the room to Vince's wishes, "Sorry, but that head is a real piece of work, huh?" He grinned, eyes alight. Obviously, he hadn't read his scroll yet.

Vincent rolled his eyes, "Yeah, read your scroll yet?"

"Not yet, I wanted to see you before I did!" And with that, Ben opened the scroll, eyes positively glowing as he read, "They got me for weather magic! That sounds awesome!" But as he kept reading, his face dimmed.

"What's wrong, Benny?" The boy was speechless, only sliding the scroll over to his brother, "They're putting you in the friggin' girl's dorm?! Seriously?" His voice was raising.

"Vincent, please--" But Vincent was already shouting, loud enough for whoever was left in the room to hear him.

Peter set his towel on a pool chair before walking into the shallow end. He leaned against the wall, nervously glancing at the deep end. Being unable to swim highly embarrassed him, to the point of tears, even. Some people really bullied and teased him about it and it always upset him.

Ross smiled. "Me neither. Well, a girlfriend, I mean." He laughed. Pushing open the door with his foot, Ross walked in and set the box down on her bed. "Need help with anything else?" He asked with a crooked smile.

Amelia placed Oreo down, smiling as he scampered across the floor. "Um..." She didn't want Ross to go. Biting her lip, she suddenly leaned forward and pecked Ross on the cheek before blushing furiously. "M-Maybe w-we co-could go to the p-pool?"

Ross blushed, his eyes widening a bit at the kiss. "I wouldn't mind." He smiled crookedly. "I'll go change in my dorm. Meet me at the pool?" He asked Amelia, crossing his arms and blushing a little bit more.

She was dropped to the floor, and one of the guys came up to her, picking her up and pinning her against the wall while the girl began to kick her. New cuts and bruises were forming against her pale, already scarred skin. The girl smiled, holding Amelia's face.
"You know, it's been awhile since I've killed someone." She crooned, wiping Amelia's tears away. "Being in a gang, I've grown up around killers and thieves. And really, I don't want to be here. So! I'm going to kill you, are you alright with that?" Amelia shook her head wildly, but the girl only laughed. "Boys, knock her out."

Struggling wildly, her eyes began to glow and the water parted away from her head, creating a bubble of air for her to breath in. Standing up, her cuts stinging, she began walking along the bottom of the pool and emerged from the shallow end, crying bitterly and holding her legs to her chest as she sat down on the edge of the pool.

Ross slid his shirt off in his dorm room, pulling on some white swim shorts. Taking his towel, Ross sprayed on some sunscreen before walking to the pool. Everything, absolutely everything that had happened to Amelia was missed by Ross. Once he arrived at the pool, he pushed open the gate and was confronted by a sobbing Amelia. "Amelia..?" He said softly, setting his stuff down onto a pool chair and rushing over to her. "Amelia..!" He sat down next to her, comfortingly wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her closer to him. "Amelia, what happened..?" He asked quietly, concern written all over his face.

Ross's eyes widened and he held her close, now wrapping both arms around her as he pulled her onto his lap for a hug. "It's okay, Amelia.. I'll protect you.. Do you know the names of the people who did this...?" He asked her gently.

"Wow, dark magic," Harry commented, somewhat awed by how different electrical and dark magic was, "You don't really strike me as the type to go for that kind of study." He immediately regretted saying that, in fear of offending Kai. "I mean... for some, it can be pretty extreme, you know? You should be careful during your studies, some aren't and it often goes awry."
Kai ducked his head, embarrassed. He thought it fit him better than anything else, although he could be wrong, he just hoped he wasn't. “Yeah..” he sighed, worry darting across his gaze for a moment before disappearing as fast as it had come. “I know what you mean, and I might be wrong . . . but it's worth a shot, right?” he said, looking down. He seemed to be the shortest person in the entire school, and he hadn't grown in like three years, so his hopes of getting taller were pretty much nonexistent. “Well, I just gotta hope it doesn't.” he said, looking up. Harry didn't notice in the slightest. He wasn't the most perceptive person in the school. "Of course!" he replied, eyes lighting up once more, "We just met, after all." The crowd seemed to be thinning and Harry felt as if the two would be the last people in the room if they didn't leave, although he didn't want to end the conversation just yet. "I don't even want to go to my dorm right now... I'd rather just get to class. It would be nice seeing who my roommate is, anyway."

As soon as you are accepted into the school, you must choose one magical class to study.

|| Air/Wind ||

One of the weaker classes of magic, students who take on learning the ways of controlling the air and wind around you are often looked down upon and will find themselves the victims of bullying if they aren't careful enough. However, this class of magic is less temperamental and easier to learn then, say, water magic or fire magic. Depending on how much you use your magic will determine if you begin growing feathers. Yes, feathers. The air magic developing in your body will begin concentrating in small amounts on your back and parts of your arms and legs to give you a smoother ride during wind-riding. The feather color will reflect your hair color. Your personality does not change in any way.

+ Aerokinesis - manipulate the air, wind, and gas.
+ Aeroportation - teleport using air/wind currents.
+ Air Mimicry - transform into a cloud of gas, fog, or mist.
+ Deoxygenation - suck up all the oxygen from a place.
+ Lung Adaptation - breathe anywhere.
+ Wind Generation - create blasts of air.
+ Pure Wind Manipulation - create and control pure winds.

|| Earth ||

Earth magic is less of a weaker class, and more of a defensive class. If used in the correct way, however, this type of magic can be used to create a deadly offense. Earth magic is typically calmer than the other types, but isn't easy to practice. Earth magic trainees are typically stronger than the others. Users who have practiced the magic for a while will begin developing gray, rougher patches of skin around their feet and hands, and some may even develop different types of plants growing in the rough patches. Why? With how much your body is manipulating the earth magic by touching the ground in some way, your body will begin becoming "one with the earth" and it will become easier and easier to practice. Don't worry, the gray patches won't consume your entire body. You may become calmer in personality.

+ Geokinesis - control, manipulate, and reshape the earth at will.
+ Crystallokinesis - manipulate minerals and crystals.
+ Ferrokinesis - manipulate metal at will.
+ Fraxikinesis - manipulate burnt matter.
+ Geo-Thermokinesis - manipulate, control, and create lava, magma and volcanoes.
+ Golem Creation - make golems out of inanimate materials like rocks, wood, plants, magma, etc.
+ Granulation - can turn things into sand.
+ Halokinesis - control and manipulate salt.
+ Hyalokinesis - control and manipulate glass.
+ Koniokinesis - manipulate and control dust particles.
+ Psammokinesis - can control and manipulate sand.
+ Terrakinesis - control, manipulate and alter/reshape the surrounding terrain and landscape at will.
+ Terraportation - teleport via the earth and earth-based materials.
Pure Earth Manipulation - Create, manipulate and control pure and good earth minerals.

|| Fire ||

Fire magic is very temperamental element to work with. Students who have chosen fire as their Magic Class shouldn't expect to master it as quickly as the other elements. Fire magic isn't only hard to master, but it changes you. In order to deal with the heat, the magic in your body begins concentrating into scales to help protect your body from deadly burns. The scales mainly concentrate around your hands and wrists, fading away by the time it reaches your shoulders. Your neck also begins to grow the scales, covering your chest and major arteries to keep them safe from flames. The inside of your mouth becomes smoother and a special type of bacteria begins growing that protects your mouth from the searing heat of the fire breath. Users will often become more fiery in personality.

+ Pyrokinesis - create, control and manipulate fire, flame and heat.
+ Fire Breath - breathe out flames.
+ Geo-Thermokinesis - manipulate lava, magma and volcanoes.
+ Heliokinesis - manipulate and control the sun and sunlight.
+ Hell-Fire Manipulation - Generate and control flames of hell.
+ Holy Fire Manipulation - Generate and control flames of Heaven.
+ Inflammation - burn things.
+ Melting - heat molecules to melt things.
+ Plasmakinesis - can control plasma.
+ Pyrotechnics - create fireworks.
+ Self-Detonation - explode self and reform.
+ Thermokinesis - create, control and manipulate heat.
+ Pyroportation - teleport or move though fire.

Water is an emotional element, and practicing of it, of course, requires a certain emotional state for each individual practicing it. Of course, each emotional state will always be different for each user- one may rely on anger, the next may rely on sadness, and another may rely on happiness. There is no physical changes or personality changes that occur when practicing this element.

+ Hydrokinesis - manipulate and control liquid water and mold it into any desired shape or form.
+ Aquatic Adaptation - adapted to underwater living.
+ Aquatic Respiration - breathe underwater.
+ Dehydration - absorb water.
+ Hydroportation - teleport across short or long distances through liquid water.
+ Water Mimicry - turn into liquid water.
+ Water Generation - generate water.
+ Holy Water Manipulation - create, manipulate and control graceful waters.

|| Darkness ||

Because of this over-powered power, I will only accept five applications with this power.

Darkness is a difficult power to master, but once you've achieved in mastering it, the world is your oyster. Students practicing this are monitored closely in order to make sure that the idea of power won't consume them and turn them into a monster. This type of magic can be deadly, and in some cases something worse than death can happen because of this type of power. Physical changes begin almost as soon as you cast a powerful spell, as runes of dark magic begin appearing on your back in a painful black ink that seems to do the opposite of glowing. The black light seems to dim the area, rather than lighten it up. Eventually, the runes will begin making their way on your neck, to your chest, down your arms and even towards your head. Your eyes will begin changing color as well to a deep red, and your pupils will become cat-like. Fangs may begin growing from your mouth, horns may begin to form, and wings will begin to sprout from your back. Your personality may stay the same if you're careful enough, but if not you may spiral out of control and begin becoming angry, easily frustrated, and full of hate. Those who sign up for this power must go through a grueling test process in order to be deemed worthy enough to attempt taming the powers of the dark.

+ Umbrakinesis - can manipulate and control darkness or shadows.
+ Animated Shadow - Animate one's shadow.
+ Light Absorption - block out light in an area.
+ Night Vision - see in the dark.
+ Sacred Darkness - create holy darkness.
+ Shadow Camouflage - be unseen in shadows.
+ Shadow Mimicry - become a shadow.
+ Umbrageous Teleportation - teleport via the shadows and darkness.
+ Dark Wind Manipulation - create and control corrupted winds.
+ Black Earth Manipulation - Create, manipulate and control corrupted and evil earth minerals.
+ Dark Water Manipulation - create, manipulate and control evil and dangerous waters.
+ Black Lightning Manipulation - create and control the darkest lightning.
+ Dark Light Manipulation - create the darkest light in existence.
+ Nether Manipulation - manipulate the final, unholiest element.

|| Electricity/Lightening ||

Electric magic is almost the opposite of Earth magic. It is wild, almost untamable and full of energy and life. Like Earth Magic, this magical class is hard to control and may take up almost all of your time to be able to master enough spells to pass your first year. However, once you master the magic type, the spells will come easily to you. Physical changes will include lighter hair with darker ends, lightning scars will begin appearing and your personality may become wilder.

+ Quintessence Force - generates whitish-blue lightning that also contains pure life energy.
+ Electrokinesis - control, generate or absorb electric fields and shoot lightning bolts.
+ Activation & Deactivation - turn stuff on and off.
+ Positron Manipulation - control positrons, the antimatter counterpart to electrons.
+ Electrical Absorption - absorb electricity.
+ Electric Mimicry - transform entire body into a lightning-like being of pure electrical energy.
+ Electrical Transportation - teleport with lightning.
+ Divine Lightning Manipulation - create and control the brightest lightning.

|| Energy ||

This is the easiest ability to learn to learn due to it's deep connection to the human mind and body, rather than the wild elements. However, your emotions must remain calm and collected rather than wild in order to be able to complete the spells completely and safely. There is no physical change that occurs from learning this branch of magic, however your personality will change to a calmer and more collected state.

+ Dynamokinesis - manipulate existing energy.
+ Energy Blast - create blasts of energy.
+ Energy Emission - release energy.
+ Quintessence Force - create and manipulate unique form of electrical and life energy.
+ Mana Manipulation - manipulate magical energies.
+ Chi Manipulation - manipulate metaphysical life energies.
+ Electricity Manipulation - manipulate electricity and electrical fields.
+ Energy Manipulation - manipulate and/or generate energy.

|| Ice ||

Frigid and cold, this element of magic isn't as difficult to learn as one might think. While Water trainees will not be able to manipulate ice due to it's solid and unmovable structure compared to the swift moving and liquid state of water, to those who learn Ice Magic first it will be rather simple. However, the process of being able to use it properly is a hard undertaking including scenes that movies would be proud of, such as sitting in the snow with nothing more than your underwear. The physical changes that this element brings is white hair, and ice-blue eyes. Your hands will become extremely cold, and may even become covered in frost if left still for too long.

+ Cryokinesis - control ice, snow and other forms of frozen water.
+ Freeze Breath - freeze things in solid ice.
+ Freezing - lower the temperature in kinetic atoms to freezing temperatures.
+ Frigokinesis - control snow either as precipitation or already on the ground.
+ Ice Mimicry - have a body made up of ice
+ Ice Beam - shoot beams of freezing energy.
+ Ice Generation - generate ice, similar to Water Generation.
+ Ice Absorption - absorb ice.

|| Light ||

Light is the easiest to master, yet the hardest to learn. Does that make sense? Well, it all boils down to one simple thing: Learning it harder, but once you learn how to do something, mastering it is the easy part. These students tend to become the ones who stand up for what is right, stand against the bullies, and often are the kindest and gentlest. The physical changes for this magical type are the most beautiful and gentle in appearance as the casters hair becomes flowing and full of light. You become taller, and more willowy. Scars are healed, and wounds are mended. Your eyes will change colors to reflect your mood, and you will be able to conjure up wings of light that look almost like angel wings. Your personality will only change if you want it.

+ White Light Manipulation - create the purest light in existence.
+ Photokinesis - create and manipulate pure light.
+ Force-Field Generation - create protective shields of solid photons.
+ Invisibility - be unseen.
+ Laser Emission - bend light wavelengths to create lasers.
+ Light Absorption -absorb the light around you.
+ Light Generation - emit blinding light or glow in the dark.
+ Light Mimicry - take on the traits of light.
+ Photoportation - teleport by using photons.
+ Projective Invisibility - turn other things invisible.
+ Evil Banish - banish all spirits of evil and black magic.
+ Light Manipulation - manipulates light and photons.

Weather is the third strongest power that one could practice, however there is only a small amount of spells that one can master. It is one of the harder elements to master. There is no changes in personality or looks.

+ Atmokinesis - manipulate the various aspects of the weather by using water, ice, fire, earth, air, and lightning/electricity.
+ Atmokinetic Resistance - immunity to all weather-based abilities and effects.

Bennet stood up, sizing up to his brother, "It is wrong, Vin, but we can't do anything about it, so let it go!" His fists were clenched, his voice low. He rarely disagreed with his brother, let alone argued with him. To him, this was torture.

Bennet stared at him for a second, eyes reflecting, glassy, with hurt. But then they burned with rage, mouth contorting into a scowl, His fists were clenched so tight the knuckles were white, "Screw you, Vince," He said, voice a whisper, but low and angry. He repeated the words, a little bit louder, but just as hurt. He turned, slinging his bag over his shoulder. He'd live in the girls' dorm, it was better than none. He stormed out, shoving past a few people, not even mumbling a sorry. He'd drop his stuff off at his dorm, then go find his classes.

Bennet had been staring at his door for a good three minutes now, fingers continuously running over the edges of the key to it. He took a deep breath, one of many so far, and looked down at the key in his hands. Was he really willing to accept the school would be exactly like middle school? Well, he'd survived it long enough, maybe this one would be nicer. That was wishful thinking. Running a thumb over the jagged edge of the key for just about the millionth time, he let out the deep breath he'd been holding and unlocked the door, nearly wincing at the sound of the lock turning.

The door creaked open slowly, revealing a plain room, two beds, and some plain furniture. One bed was something of a bunk, with a ladder leading up to the bunk, a black futon underneath it in place of the other bunk. Opposite of it was a desk facing the back of the room, with another carbon copy mirroring it. The other bed was in the corner of the room. There was a small dresser in place of a nightstand next to it, and another exact one at the foot of the bed. Neither of the beds had sheets on them, only a plain mattress and one pillow each. Everything was either off-white, black, or grey. If he was honest, it was rather reminiscent of his and Vince's room at home.

It looked like his roomie had already been here, though they hadn't claimed a bed. Boxes littered the floor, some labelled for Ben himself, albeit his deadname, and some for his roommate. He tossed his bag on the bed in the corner, thinking his roommate probably already called dibs on the bunk. With a defeated sigh, Bennet flopped down on his naked mattress, feet over the side still on the floor. He could live with this. He could live with this. He could live with this...

Vince was less careful about opening his door, not hesitating and just jamming the key in the lock and flinging it open. Luckily, no one was inside. Good, he wasn't in the mood for people at the moment. He took note of the room, and the fact it looked like no one had been in it yet. Great, he could dibs his bunk without argument. A couple boxes scattered the floor, not a whole lot for himself. He'd unpack later.

The room was even plainer than Vince had expected. Beds on either side, big steamer trunks at the ends, desks facing the walls away from each other. So neatly split down the middle, a perfect mirror of one another. There was a window smack in the middle and he gave a sigh of relief.

He tossed his duffle on the bed on the left, immediately opening the window, letting the fresh air in. But that wasn't what he was there for. He reached inside his jacket for a half empty pack of cigarettes and his favourite lighter he managed to smuggle from his house to the school. Vincent lit one fast, quickly shoving the items away, blowing the smoke out the window. Evidence was one of the many things he was good at hiding. He'd burn through a cigarette or three and hopefully be tolerable enough for his roommate not to report him.

Bexley had explored about three of his classrooms, though he'd decided against speaking to the teachers. Perhaps someone else knew when the classes started. His eyes scanned his scroll intently, so soaked in, he almost skipped a step once or twice and landed flat on his face. Almost. He hummed to himself, the only sound being his footsteps down the hall and the distant sound of other kids. He was at peace. For now. He'd have to go to his dorm eventually and deal with any and all of the kids who'd be there.

Bennet had been staring at his door for a good three minutes now, fingers continuously running over the edges of the key to it. He took a deep breath, one of many so far, and looked down at the key in his hands. Was he really willing to accept the school would be exactly like middle school? Well, he'd survived it long enough, maybe this one would be nicer. That was wishful thinking. Running a thumb over the jagged edge of the key for just about the millionth time, he let out the deep breath he'd been holding and unlocked the door, nearly wincing at the sound of the lock turning.

The door creaked open slowly, revealing a plain room, two beds, and some plain furniture. One bed was something of a bunk, with a ladder leading up to the bunk, a black futon underneath it in place of the other bunk. Opposite of it was a desk facing the back of the room, with another carbon copy mirroring it. The other bed was in the corner of the room. There was a small dresser in place of a nightstand next to it, and another exact one at the foot of the bed. Neither of the beds had sheets on them, only a plain mattress and one pillow each. Everything was either off-white, black, or grey. If he was honest, it was rather reminiscent of his and Vince's room at home.

It looked like his roomie had already been here, though they hadn't claimed a bed. Boxes littered the floor, some labelled for Ben himself, albeit his deadname, and some for his roommate. He tossed his bag on the bed in the corner, thinking his roommate probably already called dibs on the bunk. With a defeated sigh, Bennet flopped down on his naked mattress, feet over the side still on the floor. He could live with this. He could live with this. He could live with this...

Vince was less careful about opening his door, not hesitating and just jamming the key in the lock and flinging it open. Luckily, no one was inside. Good, he wasn't in the mood for people at the moment. He took note of the room, and the fact it looked like no one had been in it yet. Great, he could dibs his bunk without argument. A couple boxes scattered the floor, not a whole lot for himself. He'd unpack later.

The room was even plainer than Vince had expected. Beds on either side, big steamer trunks at the ends, desks facing the walls away from each other. So neatly split down the middle, a perfect mirror of one another. There was a window smack in the middle and he gave a sigh of relief.

He tossed his duffle on the bed on the left, immediately opening the window, letting the fresh air in. But that wasn't what he was there for. He reached inside his jacket for a half empty pack of cigarettes and his favourite lighter he managed to smuggle from his house to the school. Vincent lit one fast, quickly shoving the items away, blowing the smoke out the window. Evidence was one of the many things he was good at hiding. He'd burn through a cigarette or three and hopefully be tolerable enough for his roommate not to report him.

Bexley had explored about three of his classrooms, though he'd decided against speaking to the teachers. Perhaps someone else knew when the classes started. His eyes scanned his scroll intently, so soaked in, he almost skipped a step once or twice and landed flat on his face. Almost. He hummed to himself, the only sound being his footsteps down the hall and the distant sound of other kids. He was at peace. For now. He'd have to go to his dorm eventually and deal with any and all of the kids who'd be there.

You can do this Bex, anything to stay out of that orphanage. You can do this... He told himself with a deep breath, taking a glance up to map out his schedule route in his head for later.

What Ben hadn't noticed was the small kitten watching him from the nightstand, his blue eyes wide. This wasn't Amelia, this was a stranger. They were odd too, they smelled a little like a female but they carried themselves like a male. They must be male, the kitten decided, before bounding over to him to sniff them. His paws sank into the mattress slightly, his tiny claws tucked safely away in his paws. His blue collar revealed the blue eyed Maine Coon kitten's name- Oreo. Letting out a small meow, he jumped clumsily onto Ben's chest, staring at him.

While it was a little frightening, Amelia learned to, at the very least, tread water. Now, after bidding Ross a tired goodbye with a kiss on the cheek and a promise to meet him in the cafeteria in the evening, she made her way back to the dorms quietly. Avoiding the girl who had made an attempt on her life earlier, Amelia climbed up the steps to her room. The door was surprisingly unlocked, meaning her roommate was now inside. A little embarrassed that she was still soaking wet from swimming, she pushed open the door to find that her roommate was "pinned" down by Oreo.

Harry nodded and headed toward the corridor Kai directed him to, waiting for him to follow. He was always a fast walker, so he tried to slow down his pace a little. The new student was used to walking in large crowds that moved along like a current, but he didn't mind just talking to one person. "After you," he called.
Kai blinked, then turned and walked forwards, having to move quickly to make up for being shorter, although he still had long legs, so it wasn't hard. The boy choked down a yelp as the feline bounded onto his chest, nearly yanking the thing off before realising it was just a cat. "Right.. pet shop..." He muttered to himself, sitting up gently, pulling the cat gently from his chest and into his lap. It was a beautiful cat, really. Maine Coon markings, blue eyes. Ben was sort of jealous he hadn't gotten it first.

He ran his fingers through the soft fur, "Hey buddy, you belong to my roommate?" Bennet murmured gently, more to himself than to the cat, not really expecting it to answer. Chances are the cat belonged to his roommate, or the cat had wandered in at some point and he just hadn't noticed. He didn't close the door after he came in.

"Um," Amelia said quietly. "Are you my roommate?" She looked a little nervous, unsure if she should refer to Ben as he/him or she/her.

Oreo meowed, purring as Ben ran his fingers through his fur.

She had finished unpacking her clothes and now moved onto her many, many books. She filled up the given shelf and realized that she still had more books. "uh," she said. Or was she like that stupid headmaster? Should he stay under the radar? The thought made him feel sick to his stomach. He knew what Vince would say if he reverted back to what he had done back home in the beginnings of his transition. Plus, it wasn't fair. He was a boy whether Ingrid liked it or believed it or not. He'd grown up in a very small town hundreds of miles from any city, and was used to smaller, run down looking places without much inside them. “Hmm? I'm not sure, but it's huge!” Kai breathed, staring in awe at it. After a moment he stopped and turned around. “So what do you think this is for? Like, what part of the school is it?” he questioned, although he was doubting that Harry knew, though it was worth a try anyways.

Sliding his jacket off, he tossed it on the black wooden frame of his new bed, running a hand through his stark white hair. He tossed a gentle smile to Amelia before sliding his bag over to the dresser at the end of his bed, then bending down to the nearest box labelled 'BRYNN' in scrawled lettering that didn't match his brother's or his parents'. Must have been that stupid equivalent to the school board. Ben pulled it up onto the bed, making a noticeable effort to face the name away from Amelia.

Pulling out a small pocket knife, the blade no longer than the first two sections of his pinkie finger, he cut the packaging tape away with ease, pulling the things inside out. It was just linen and sheets for his bed, a couple extra pillows with cases, and whatever clothes his parents could shove in there.

Having successfully mapped the Earth wing out for his own purposes,
Bexley was satisfied. Now, he was only wandering the halls to avoid having to visit his dorm room and have the possibility of running into his roommate.
He hummed softly, a song his friend, Mick, at the orphanage used to sing when it was a particularly bad night. As much as he hated the place,
he missed Mick. Mick was a year younger than him, and Bexley had insisted on going with him to the boarding school. It was so much better than that dreaded place and its bad wallpaper.

Bexley sighed, shoving his hands in his jean pockets. He wished the brat were here to annoy him, he was one of the very, very few people who he actually spoke with. Like, really talked,
laughed even. Even when Bexley lived with Vincent and their dad, yes,
before he dropped him in an orphanage because Vincent's mum couldn't stand the sight of him, he rarely laughed with Vince. More or less, they fought, as siblings should, but it was real fighting. The boy gave a soft smile at the action. Amelia was a kind girl, almost like a sister. Ben muttered a soft 'thanks' before continuing unpacking. Maybe, with Amelia as his roomie, things wouldn't be so bad. Still, he'd get weird looks in the hallways and a few unnecessary reprimands by Ms Ingrid, but things wouldn't be so bad. It would be just like living with Vince if a little nicer.

"Personally, I think she's an everything-phobe," He muttered sourly, giving a scowl at the thought of her. Maybe Vince was right, he should put up a fight about being put in the wrong place. But still, maybe Vince was right about a lot of things, but that didn't mean Ben couldn't take the simple route.

Lazily shoving his clothes into the small drawers of the small dresser, he did his best to hide his... hygiene products in the bottom drawer. Yes, he knew Amelia was accepting and she probably wouldn't care as she went through the same thing every month, but it was what, maybe a year? A year and a half? Since Bennet had come out with the fact, and yes, he passed supremely well, but still, there were those days when people would notice, or they just knew. Whether it be a sympathetic smile or a disgusted grimace, sometimes people just knew. He was just self-conscious about it and, hopefully, Amelia would be considerate enough not to say anything about it if she had noticed.

He didn't want to say until he knew Harry was safe, and that was something Kai was good at quickly figuring out, although even if he deemed someone safe, it did not mean he had to become friends with them.

Amelia had noticed, but she didn't say a thing. In fact, she only gave Bennet a little wink, before beginning to unpack her own supplies. Reading a note her mother had written her that was packed in with her stuff, Amelia suddenly crumbled up the note and let out an almost annoyed sigh through her nose. Of course she couldn't leave her daughter alone with her mother, could she? Her mother was "unable" to cope with the little girl who was only six, and had her put in foster care while Amelia was in the school. Huffing slightly with barely repressed anger, Amelia stormed over to a trash bin and shoved it inside, forcing it underneath the amount of trash. She was eighteen, and she trusted her mother with her daughter. Of course it would blow up in her face. Shooting Bennet a nervous smile, she returned back to unpacking her supplies. Setting up her stuff neatly on the desk, she finally clambered up to her bunk and spread out the sheets. "We may have another roommate." Amelia said suddenly, glancing at Bennet. "Her name is Lumina." She pointed to a rather large box by the futon that was untouched by the both of them. "Apparently Lumina is a bit of a bother to the other students, and we're the last room they have to put her in before they finally give her their own room." Amelia wrinkled her nose up slightly. "She sounds like an interesting character."
As if on cue, the door burst open and a spray of glitter shot through the door and right in Amelia's face. Oreo blinked, his white fur coat now shimmering with pink glitter.
"Hello~!" The girl called out, cartwheeling inside and stopping right by Amelia, still standing on her hands. Offering her a hand to shake, she balanced on one hand. "I'm Lumina, your roommate! I'm so excited to make some new friends!" She chirped happily. "I haven't decided what I'm going to study for my element, what are you guys studying?" She asked, holding out a massive scroll much bigger than the others. "They gave me an extra big scroll with ALL the classes, so I can figure out what I want to do! And don't you think the rules are silly? I mean, of course nobody would bring their pet into class! It's just common sense! As for the same-sex couples, I- Ooh! Kitty! Glitter kitty!" Lumina had spotted Oreo, the cat's eyes widening as they locked eyes.
Amelia spat out some glitter, shaking her hand before attempting to wipe the pink glitter off of her face. "I'm Amelia." She introduced herself, studying Lumina. The girl had her hair dyed a pleasant pink color that wasn't too overwhelming. Her eyes were an almost electric blue, and her clothing was mainly black, blue, and pink. Being so absorbed in his unpacking, Ben barely took notice of what Amelia was saying, up until she said her name. He gave a confused look, turning to look at her just as he threw his extra pillows on his bed, "We have a what--" But the question was interrupted, and answered, by the entrance of another girl. The entrance itself made Ben cringe inwardly, glad to be in the furthermost corner of the room, away from the explosion of shimmering glitter and another girl who looked far too young to be in a school like this.

Ben didn't say anything, instead sort of edging further into his corner in hopes that the little girl wouldn't see him. Little kids usually asked a lot of questions about him, and he hated talking to them anyways. The boy sort of stared at the pair of them, feeling sorry for Amelia who'd been the second worst victim of the glitter blast, the first being Oreo. He stared for a while, mouth half open, brows furrowed before he turned back to his bed, which he just neatly covered in his checkered bedspread and folded the matching comforter at the end opposite the pillows.

"Hey, aren't boys supposed to not be in the girl's dorms?" Lumina asked, studying Bennet closely before her eyes filled with understanding. "Oooooooohhhhhhh, I see now. Hi!" Lumina grinned, before flopping onto the futon.
Amelia rubbed her eyes slightly. "Maybe you should go into electricity." She suggested, looking at the options. "It would certainly fit your bubbly behavior." She blinked at Lumina.

He had seen many uncomfortable faces during the rule, as he was also shifting in his seat when the head teacher's gaze was drifting across the room. Harry was fairly passionate about his opinions on the rules, although he didn't want to spout too much of his ideals on the first day. "I'm sure there'll be a student uproar about it sooner or later. For sure." The new student avoided giving his stance, just to see what Kai's side was. For now you're neutral. Act like a spy!
Kai stared at Harry a moment, taking very careful note of the other boy's flat tone, which made him shift uncomfortably, wondering how Harry had guessed, and if he was mad or something. “Yeah, that and some other ones.” he really didn't have much of a problem with the other rules, but if Harry was against it, Kai was going to do his best to hide the fact the he himself was gay, because he didn't want to make an enemy with the first person he met on the first day. So, he was going to give Harry no real opinion on the matter. “Probably, although I'm sure some will probably just hide it the whole time. This is a school after all, not a dating site.”

Amelia rubbed her eyes slightly. "Maybe you should go into electricity." She suggested, looking at the options. "It would certainly fit your bubbly behavior." She blinked at Lumina.

The boy winced at the girl's mentioning of his position. He didn't take any offence to it, she was just a kid, albeit one of the ones that spoke whatever came to mind. He muttered a half-hearted 'hey' and continued to sort out his clothes into the correct drawers. Once he finished with one box, he'd cut the tape from the bottom and unfold it flat, shoving it under the dresser for the end of the school year. He kept his head down, trying not to speak to Lumina or grab her attention. He didn't mind her, really, she was nice, and apparently understood why a boy was in the girl's dorm, so Ben could live with that. He would keep telling himself that until he believed it.

There was a door to what Ben had guessed was the bathroom next to his dresser, and a window over his bed, which he'd shut the blinds over. He finished unpacking all his boxes, all of the shoved flat underneath the dresser. He grabbed his bag from the floor and opened it. It was filled with the necessities of school, pencils, pens, several blank notebooks, a few leather bound journals for personal use, and a couple of choice books from his shelf at home.

And there was his tape recorder. The old fashioned kind that recorded on a cassette tape. It was sort of his diary, a voice diary is what Vince had called it. It had been Vince's before he gave it to Bennet for his latest birthday, his brother had never used it, and Ben was, quote, "...into that sort of crap..." So here it was. He looked at Amelia and Lumina. They seemed busy enough talking to each other. Ben put his bag down and opened the door to the bathroom, shutting it softly.

The bathroom was small, a toilet in the far corner, a bathtub taking up most of the left wall, a sink and counter taking up the right, an oval mirror hanging above it. Ben flicked the lights on and sat on the closed lid of the toilet. He looked at the tape recorder, turning it over in his hands. He'd used it more than a hand full of times, sort of a vent thing, being too embarrassed to talk to Vincent or any of his friends. He held it close to his mouth and hit the recording button, taking a breath before he spoke, "Diary Entry 103.."

I guess he was right, the kids at my school aren't exactly inviting." Ben took a breath, leaning back against the water tank as he let his thoughts pour, "But this place isn't much better. I'm in the girls' dorm, thanks to some xenophobic headmaster. The girls are nice, so far. Amelia Barrows, she's around Vince's age, maybe younger, and a little girl, Lumina. They're pretty accepting I guess. I won't see Vince around much, he's in the boys' dorm, and he got put on for Energy magic. I wish I signed with him, maybe I'd see him more often." Ben sighed, picking at the ripped strings of his jeans. He took a long pause, trying to think of more to say.

"About the headmaster, she made it clear she's not exactly a fan of LGBT people, which is a bummer. I mean, it's a school, not exactly the ideal place for a date, but still. He picked him up gently, "Come on, little guy," He whispered gently, carrying the cat against his chest with one hand and opening the door with the other, silently slipping back into his room.

"Yeah..." Harry agreed distractedly, having already forgotten all of the other rules. Something about both of their portrayed indifference was enough to make him uncomfortable. A desire to go on a rant about that rule rose like steam in the teenager and he fought to contain it. "It'll probably sort itself out," he added. His eye twitched due to his internal fight to remain seemingly solemn. Embarrassed, Harry casually looked away at nothing.

Ben let out a short laugh, quiet, as the cat pawed at him. He set him down on his bed and looked around his part of the room. It was pretty well kept, as it had been back home, and it started to feel like he could actually do this whole magic thing. He quickly transferred his recorder from his person to his bag, into a secret pocket that almost completely blended into the inside of the bag, and anyone could easily miss if they weren't trying to find it.

"Hey, uh, Amelia?" Ben said, digging around in his bag for his wallet, "You mind giving me directions to that pet store you talked about? I'm thinking of grabbing something there for myself," He asked, standing up straight as he shoved the leather bound wallet into his back pocket, turning to look at the girl he was talking to.

"Hm? Oh, here, I'll show you on the map." Amelia seemed to be glad she could get away from Lumina's constant chatter as she approached Ben, unrolling her scroll and placing it flat on the table. "So, here's our dorms." She said, placing the tip of a pencil on the spot. She gently circled it. "And here is the petshop." She placed the pencil right on top of a building nearby that was rather small compared to the others. "They've got all sorts of pets there, and everything is cheap. Apparently it's so that students can focus on their schooling instead of getting a job to pay for a pet." She explained, tapping her eraser on it. "The man running the shop is a really lazy and rude fellow, so I wouldn't expect them to be much help." Oreo meowed in agreement, curling up on Amelia's shoulder.

Ben nodded as he watched her draw on the given map, tossing her a smile as he turned and grabbed his room key from the top of his dresser, putting it in his jacket pocket as he pulled it on. "Thanks, Amelia, sorry to leave you with.." He nodded his head toward Lumina. He wasn't usually one to be judgemental or rude, but he thought they could both agree Lumina was a bit... much in character, to put it politely. Giving a curt goodbye to both of his roommates, Ben left the room, leaving the room with a click and a sigh. He leant against the door a minute before glancing over to the small chalkboard by their door. Each room had one, most had the residents' names written in neat print, some having been vandalised, others being changed to the peoples' likings.

On Ben's, it had his birth name and Amelia's name printed in big white letters. He frowned, then proceeded to smear the chalk away, taking the used piece from the box of four next to the board, and write in his best print the three correct names of the residents.

Almost as soon as the air his face, Ben was basically jumped by his brother, letting out a yelp, whipping around and using all his force to shove him against the door, not realising who it was. But brown eyes met blue, and brown eyes narrowed, "Don't jump me, Vincent!" He scolded him, backing off the other and turning swiftly and heading down the sidewalk, "This is a new school, I have no idea who might be actually trying to jump me!" Bennet sighed.

Vincent brushed himself off, then hurried after his little brother, grabbing his shoulder, "Hey, easy tiger, where are you going?" He demanded, trying to sound playful and light-hearted. His brother might still be mad.

Ben shrugged him off and straightened his jacket, "Pet shop." He said, curt and plain.

"Oh, well I'll go with you! If you're gonna get a pet--"

"You wanna make sure it's badass, I know Vince, I know! But this is something for me, not the both of us."

Vincent didn't back down, "I was gonna say I wanted to get one too, I miss Bruno, it'd be cool to get another pet without Mum or Dad breathing down my neck," He said it all fast, trying to make any excuse to get a chance to talk to Bennet. He wanted to apologise.

The boy sighed, "Fine! But don't bother me about what I'm getting and I won't bother you." Bennet walked faster, taking a swift turn and nearly knocking his brother over, following the narrow path to the pet shop. Unlucky for him, Vince wasn't scared to walk on the grass.

Would it be okay if Peter could sneak out at night to practice swimming, only because he wants to impress Sasuke and show him how quickly he learned how to swim, but when he dives in, he hits his head on the bottom of the pool and blacks out, which leaves him under the water for a long time. So, Sasuke wakes up and notices that Peter, his roommate, is missing. So he goes to find him and he finds him at the pool. So then Sasuke rescues him out of the water and Peter's lungs are pretty much filled with water, so Sasuke has to use mouth-to-mouth CPR and all that good stuff :3 So when Peter wakes up, he cries and thanks Sasuke for saving him, and he hugs him and cries some more X3 So then, perhaps Miss Ingrid could come by and seperate them for her 'No same-sex couples' rule and to make sure they aren't doing anything lovey-dovey, and then she sends them back to their rooms, where Peter continues to thank Sasuke and all that stuff. Just an idea XD)

The pet store was relatively quiet. Of course, Ben was usually late to the party, most of the rush had been when they had been dismissed and released to wander the school or find their classrooms. The most noise there was was the soft music the store owner played and occasionally a mewl from a cat, whimper from a dog, or any other sound from the animals. Even Ben's footsteps seemed muted as he wandered around the store, scanning the many glass cases and metal cages. His brother eyed the dogs, while he seemed more interested in the less common animals. Lizards, fish, even some birds that were relatively quiet, probably not to be a disruption in the dorms.

He paid more attention to the birds. Some cocked their heads at him, some cooed in his direction. Most ignored him. He put his fingers through the bars more than once, only to be scolded by the worker that Amelia had warned him about. He didn't care, and the worker didn't seem to care either. He stopped in front of a soft, off-white cockatiel. Most of its face was a pale yellow, with a dot of red-orange on the sides that made it look almost like it was blushing. Ben read the sign on the cage.

Ben scoffed and rolled his eyes, looking at the bird, who looked right back at him, cocking her head in almost a challenge. He smirked, raising a finger to the bars, "Come on, Lucille. You can't be so bad.." He murmured, sticking his finger through the bar, bracing himself to be bitten. But he wasn't. He merely felt soft feathers being rubbed against him. He stared, and Lucille stared back. I'm a friggin' Disney princess.. He thought to himself, taking his hand back and taking out his wallet as he headed towards the counter.

Vince, however, was distracted. He was a dog person and saying he liked them was putting it lightly. He loved dogs. When he was younger, he had an old St. Bernard named Chuck that he loved, and when he passed, he got an old Beagle named Dollar. He had a Rottweiler back home named Bucky. But he wouldn't be seeing her for a while. So, just for the semester, he'd get a dog. Or two. He wanted to take them all.

He stopped dead when he saw a red sticker in the corner of a small glass case. The animal inside was hard to see, shoved itself behind its bed. It definitely wasn't a dog, but Vincent was an animal person. The sign said soon it would have to be taken away. He tapped on the glass, gently, squinting at the animal inside as it shuffled and squirmed. Vincent's eyes grew and he let out a short breath. He looked at the sign. It had less than a week. He looked at it again, then groaned inwardly, following his brother to the counter. He honestly couldn't believe he was going to buy it, but it was one of the few animals with red signs, and he wanted to at least save one.

"Yeah..." Harry agreed distractedly, having already forgotten all of the other rules. Something about both of their portrayed indifference was enough to make him uncomfortable. A desire to go on a rant about that rule rose like steam in the teenager and he fought to contain it. "It'll probably sort itself out," he added. His eye twitched due to his internal fight to remain seemingly solemn. Embarrassed, Harry casually looked away at nothing.

Kai nodded and looked away, feeling rather uncomfortable now. He would've loved to express his feelings on the subject, as he was very passionate about it, but he didn't know if Harry was with it or against it or what, and so he would keep his opinion to himself for now, until he knew what Harry thought. “Probably.” Kai said, fighting the urge to say that he hoped so, and just going with a neutral perspective, even though it was not actually his, and felt wrong. He watched as Harry looked away, and he slowly walked over to one of the doors, but couldn't see inside.

"This hall is getting repetetive, do you want to go check out the courtyard?" he queried, noticing an exit further down the hall. Light trickled out of the ajar portion of the door, illuminating the already dim corridor.

The place was great, yes, but nothing could beat a good old fashioned forest that seemed to go on and on, and that was what Kai loved, this had few trees, but it was at least outside, and he breathed in the fresh air, smiling.

Kai walked quickly over to the door and pulled it open all the way and gazed outside at the courtyard, his gray eyes wide with awe, and he looked at Harry, waiting to see what the other boy's reaction was. He looked over to Kai, grinning with newfound awe. At least we're definitely on the same page with this one. "Look at the view!" Harry enthused, stepping outside onto the cobblestone pathway, "I've never seen anything like it!"

He took his fork and put some in his mouth. He was quiet for a moment, and the his eyes lit up. "You're right it is good," he said, then glanced at her. "You know, I've never talked to someone this much before."

"Really?" Conversation had always been normal to her- she found it more awkward not to talk. "I mean, I talk a lot... eh, everyone's different, right?"

"I don't know what I expected, but everything is so much more grand than I would have imagined," Harry added, capturing the immense beauty like a camera, the images stowed in his brain. Magic schools are... definitely really weird. It's nice to see a change from the both of our homes, as it seems. "The plants are definitely rather unique. Some of them remind me of alien plants like in the movies."
