Duskmourn Marshes

South of Nick's Clearing are the Duskmourn Marshes. While these marshes are usually no place for a cat to be, as autumn has rolled in, they've become a bit safer. It's still advised by Nick to be very careful, though, as many predators still roam. Despite this, it is described by the NPC as being abundant with the very best of ingredients! So, you had better get to looking!

Cherryswirl's eyes widened at the expanse of murky marsh before her. It was said to be safer around this time of the year. Though the musky smell seemed to clog her senses, she was determined to look around for what could only be described as the best ingredients. So, searching she went!

Ghostpaw crept in. Why did she even have to do this? Whatever. She poked around the marsh, unwilling to get in. What if she got sucked under? Eventually some irrational part of her brain got her padding through the marshes looking for ingredients. Stars, I hate this...

Onto the marsh! Why…why? Well, it can’t be that bad, all that the apprentice had to do was look around for some stuff! Plus, they want to help out! There’s probably some bugs and such here as far as Sunsetpaw can guess…why was bugs apart of something you’d eat in the first place? Not sure, really. And it can be dangerous so Sunsetpaw should be careful!

Pumpkin cautiously entered the marshland. This seemed a bit scary, especially to the older kit, but nevermind! They weren't afraid of a little challenge, now were they!? Pumkin poked around for any ingredients Nick had mentioned.

Starryeyes padded into the Duskmourn Marshes, keeping their eyes out. They were wary of any other movement -- they liked to heed Nick the NPC's warnings, and they were sure there was a possibility there was something here that would like to eated him.

They were safe right now, though, and kept those thoughts in the far corner of their mind while they searched for stew ingredients.

I'm in a diff timezone so yes day three for me

How irking! All three of her 10/10 posts had gone unseen. Was she that ghostly? Ghostpaw hoped not. She was certainly alive... Right? Well, if she could collect ingredients, that meant she was still living. The annoying clingy mud from the marshes that stuck to her long fur, turning silver into dirty brownish-gray, was another constant reminder of the fact the apprentice was not one of the stars above, come to haunt the land.

Whiteheart came in, struggling to limp through the marshes as mud sucked on his legs, making it harder than ever to manouver his lame leg. Well, hopefully his closeness to the ground might aid him to find otherwise-hidden ingredients. Crawling bugs, mushrooms growing from the rotting bark and roots on the ground, maybe fallen berries? The shadowy warrior pressed on, determined not to be cursed by neither Percival nor Nick.

Back again and a sort of silent urgency filled Nathaniel as he looked. He'd been caught up in uncertainty, some sort of strange fog over his mind preventing him from being able to tell what he'd gathered from his days spent looking for bugs and the like, and now he didnt know how far behind he really was. It was a disaster so now he searched like a fiend, digging through everything to try and find ingredients and not let nick down.
