SourKit was born to his[her] mother and father, SnowSnap of Thunderclan and FallStep of Shadowclan. His mother died after birth and his father died a moon or two later. He had 4 littermates, each given to a different family member in a different clan. SourKit was given to her aunt and grandmother in Thunderclan. SourKit made it very clear early on that she was not a he and therefore asked to be called by she/her pronouns. When SourKit was about to become an apprentice her grandmother disappeared, driving her aunt into a depressive state.

SourPaw was now an apprentice and received SparrowFur as her mentor. SourPaw enjoyed being around SparrowFur and would die for her. SourPaw also made a friend, LichenPaw, at a gathering and meets up with her frequently.
