Jurassic World Roleplay

Before I get started with the plot of the rp, I’d like to state that I would like all replies to be at least 1 paragraph long, I want the rp to be taken seriously, and for all members to be as active as possible. It may start off a bit slow, but it will quickly pick up after the storm hits. Thank you in advance and happy roleplaying!

It’s been 20 years since Jurassic Park was shut down after the horrible incident that left at least 12 people dead. The world has moved on and scientists continue to investigate our evolutionary history and the past. Hundreds of new dinosaurs have been discovered and replicated, and some say they’ve even discovered how to mix genetic codes to make dangerous but incredibly intriguing hybrids. There have also been security upgrades to ensure the safety of park guests.. Or so they think.

Jurassic World is opening today. The world will finally be able to see what scientist have been working so hard on. They will finally be able to see the awesome creatures of the past. The park features many more dinosaurs than the previous park did, including several aquatic exhibits and an avian house.

Of course.. Things aren’t so great. There is a hurricane headed straight for Isla Nublar where the park is situated. A rumor has spread among the rangers that it may knock the power out of some exhibits, disabling some security.. Providing an opportunity for some of the assets to escape and wreak havoc on the park. But this is just a rumor… Or is it?

pfft, Russet reminds me of that one scene in Jurassic Park with the guy and the dilophosaurus, and how the guy got scared when it puffed out the frill thing.

Grace was walking down the path toward the water pavilion. She often worked there with marine dinosaurs, doing shows and taking care of the cages. It was like every normal day. She trotted down through the staff walkway and intot he cool room with the key card. When she reached the prep room she reached across the shelf grabbing a bucket. Than walking toward the freezer, she reached in and pulled in many fish. Than with a huff carried it off

Russet paced around his enclosure, waiting for the guests to arrive. It hopefully wouldn't be long now... he actually enjoyed getting looked at, though nowadays though... it seemed that they never really had the surprised expressions that they used to. It didn't really seem usual. Huffing, he stopped at the foot of a tree, laying down, with his tail curled near his feet as he waited in boredom with nothing to do.

Strife was laying on a tree branch, watching the area outside. He snorted through his nostrils. It was boring in his enclosure. There wasn't really ever anything to do but watch the people watching him. It did seem a bit weird, for two things to watch each other.

(Also, if you want I could make a form for a water dinosaur, but it also might be a crocodile type of dinosaur.)

The raptor glanced around, her pupils slits. She walked through the forest-y place, making low growling sounds. Her scales shaded by the trees as she made her way through the enclosure, her claws twitched. She found sunlight, making another small noise and lashing her tail. Her amber eyes scanned the area around her and she parted her jaws slightly as she still looked around. Her nostrils flared as she saw the same walls preventing her from being free instead. She'd mostly given up hope of escaping, but it still disappointed her when the walls weren't simply poofed away. 'Oh well' she thought, laying in the warmth.

Grace than walked over towards the entrance where she used the key card and slipped into the cool underground enclosure. She than walked across the rocky earth pressing her hand to the glass. It was an underground enclosure, a tunnel wih two sides to it. Both sides had glass covering it. One side was the water while the other was land with shade for the dinosaur who lived there. She walked throught it to the other side where there was stairs,

She trotted up the steps and removed the chain before slipping into another door. She walked out onto a platform next to the water from below the little tunnel seeing area. She set the bucket down and turned to see rows of seats behind her. There was going to be a show today. The first one in a while.

Strengths: She can actually leap pretty high, and she can swim pretty fast. She's also pretty smart.

Appearance: (I cannot find a good image so...) A jet black pteranodon with leathery skin. Her eyes are a dark blue-green. She has a small, lithe body and very large wings from a mutation. She has small, razor-sharp talons on her nimble feet. She has a long, pointed mouth and a small, yet well pointed, crest upon the back of her skull (because female pteranodons have significantly smaller crests than males).

Strengths: With her mutation, she has enlarged wings, allowing her to fly longer and faster. So basically her strengths are swiftness, endurance, sense of smell, and hearing

Weaknesses: Strength, Loss, camouflage (during the day at least), and durability

Shade hid in the forest shrubbery, practicing her stealth in daylight, since she wasn't so good at that. She walked slowly and carefully to ensure that she wouldn't make noise, but kept a keen eye out for anything that could mess her up with her red eyes. Soon, she ran for a bit to practice her running, and soon fell over after being at her top speed for a bit. She looked back to bind a root stucking up and got up, shaking her head as she got out of the shrubbey and into the open sun. She soon felt the warmth of the rays hit her and soon walked over to her original resting spot, curling up there and closing her eyes to take a quick breather untill it was lunchtime, or until she wanted to train more.

Sasuke was sitting on the rails of one of the enclosures and nightmare was pushing Sasuke trying to get a treat from him making Sasuke sigh " nightmare if you keep doing that you won't get a treat " he says calmly as the rex keeps pushing him with his nose In front of nightmares enclosure was frost who was sleeping as within the small forest she had.

Peter was watching Sasuke playing around with Nightmare, smiling in a cute way. "Sasuke, you've spoiled him." He walked up to Nightmare and gently patted his snout, pulling out a piece of meat and giving it to the friendly giganotosaurus. "It's going to be hard to say no to this guy." He patted Nightmare's muzzle again, then turned to look at Sasuke. "Do you want to help me feed Jack? I mean, he's always been... Quite aggressive. Maybe it's just his genes, but.. We've been told to be extra careful. His type is very powerful, even though he's got such tiny arms. Still though.. He's vicious." Peter pulled out a chart, trailing his finger down the piece of paper on the clipboard before tapping on a certain spot. "It says on here that he gets a cow for today." He took a pen and crossed the spot off. "I'll check it off early. Anyways, are you gonna help me?" Peter asked with a smile.

Dash walked around his enclosure, heading towards the window where all the humans were watching. Nudging the glass with his snout, a few people scattered backwards and took pictures. He snorted, fogging up the windows and making children giggle. Smiling to himself, Dash turned and walked away, heading into the forested area and looking around.

Jack scratched at the walls surrounding him, trying to get out. He snarled to himself, slamming his tail against the wall and making it crack. Taking a step back, he tried ramming his head into the wall, only to grumble and shake his head in pain. However, the wall did crack some more, a few bits crumbling to the floor. A few humans watching him squealed and quickly moved back, and he smirked. Sniffing the air, the carnosaur roared loudly, sending people backwards some more. But.. Most took pictures and/or videos. Growling, he hit the wall again with his tail, knocking out the top chunk. Quickly though, a rover pulled up outside his enclosure, multiple humans dressed in heavy armor and gear hustling out. Jack quickly turned and ran into the forested area, not happy. He didn't want to sedated. Feeling a faint pick in his hide, the carnivore roared in agitation and whirled around, smacking a few trees with his tail. After a few minutes, Jack collapsed to the ground and felt his eyes grow heavy. He passed out, quickly going into a deep sleep. Meanwhile, the engineers and construction workers were fixing the wall and reinforcing it.

Jack was always reviting, and whenever she showed up to the scene she enjoyed how the kids cheered while she drove him away like a hero.

"Hey, Girl." An officer called out, walking up to Grace. "Watch your damn mouth, kid. We know what we're doing. That creature is incredibly dangerous. If it can crack cement walls, it can definitely crush a human in it's jaws. Listen, he's smart. He knows what you're doing now. That thing isn't stupid, kid. Look, if you wanna make friends with it, be my guest! But that's basically a suicide mission. He will kill you in an instant."

He walked up to Nightmare and gently patted his snout, pulling out a piece of meat and giving it to the friendly giganotosaurus. "It's going to be hard to say no to this guy." He patted Nightmare's muzzle again, then turned to look at Sasuke. "Do you want to help me feed Jack? I mean, he's always been... Quite aggressive. Maybe it's just his genes, but.. We've been told to be extra careful. His type is very powerful, even though he's got such tiny arms. Still though.. He's vicious." Peter pulled out a chart, trailing his finger down the piece of paper on the clipboard before tapping on a certain spot. "It says on here that he gets a cow for today." He took a pen and crossed the spot off. "I'll check it off early. Anyways, are you gonna help me?" Peter asked with a smile.

Appearance: (I cannot find a good image so...) A jet black pteranodon with leathery skin. Her eyes are a dark blue-green. She has a small, lithe body and very large wings from a mutation. She has small, razor-sharp talons on her nimble feet. She has a long, pointed mouth and a small, yet well pointed, crest upon the back of her skull (because female pteranodons have significantly smaller crests than males).

Strengths: With her mutation, she has enlarged wings, allowing her to fly longer and faster. So basically her strengths are swiftness, endurance, sense of smell, and hearing

Weaknesses: Strength, Loss, camouflage (during the day at least), and durability

Blinking once, she made her way toward him, letting her jaw hang slightly open in the anticipation of food, although she did really prefer live prey, since she got to actually chase it down, which was pretty satisfying, but at least she got food.

Pteranodons (or pterodactyls, whichever works), I would imagine, live in one large place, like a large enclosed dome perhaps, which can have a tunnel under it in which the humans can walk through to see the majestic, but possibly deadly, creatures.))

"I'm the only Carnosaur in this enclosure, darling. I don't get much conversation." He snorted in amusement before directing his attention towards the cameras. He grumbled under his breath. "There they go again. I get so sick of those little machines they hold. The bright lights hurt my eyes." He shook his head, clearing away the faint fuzz while flicking his tail. Jack was still a bit tired from the dosage, which was why he wasn't acting himself. He was normally quite aggressive all the time, constantly wanting to escape.

Even Stardust was getting the hang of the immense power they held; she was just becoming a young adult. 'Maybe their coming through a different entrance today,' she wondered, her eyes at work scanning the area for the any trace of food or workers in the enclosure.

Shade, after having a long nap, soon woke up, getting up from her rest and having a quick look around with her red eyes for anything to do. She didn't see any others nearby her, so she soon started walking around the place for something to do. She didn't want to practice her stealth again, and was sure that there was someone or some dinosaur to find, so she started walking around.

She let out a quiet chirp when she saw Stardust. The pterosaur dove off the little dish hanging to a tree by a chain, and she landed near the bigger dinosaur. "Hey..." She said, looking up.

Jack snorted. "Hm. Maybe you and I can work together." He lifted his head, staring up at the sky. Dark rain clouds dotted the grey sky, a strong breeze blowing by. Jack narrowed his eyes. "There's a storm coming. Sound the alarm, Grace." He growled. It suddenly began raining, the large droplets quickly dropping through the sky and hitting the ground, flooding the streets and creating large puddles in the grass. Flicking his tail, Jack shook his body and growled some more in disgust. "Hurry."

Dash looked up at the sky, raindrops hitting his scaly skin and sliding down his body. He shook his head and snorted. "Delta! It's storming!" He headed towards the large pool and slid in, flicking his tail and swimming towards her.

The lights in every building began to flicker as the power at the park became weaker, the ocean water lapping at the sides of the large island and flooding the park streets. Alarms sounded and tourists began panicking, all of them running towards the main building for shelter. The children were escorted first, all of them going into the underground bunker with their parents. As the power went out, the storm grew heavier. The rain pounded down onto the roofs of buildings, agitating the carnivores and spooking the herbivores. The sky grew dark with the rain clouds, lightning flashing and sparking a distant fire. Thunder crackled in the air and more carnivores became even more nervous. Peter yelped as the power went out, his eyes widening. "Sasuke!" He said in fear, standing up from his seat and quickly going to his side.

"There's a storm, Breeze!" she exclaimed, stretching her wings to full wingspan when she noticed that the enclosure starting to flood. She flapped, immediately rising into the air, chuckling when she saw some humans massing together towards the main building in fear. 'Sucks for you, cowards! I have a skill that you will never have, and you didn't even feed me!' "We need to get high. The enclosures flooding!" she shouted towards Breeze, hoping the rain didn't cloud her out. Stardust then flew to the highest tree in the dome. Then the lights flickered out. 'The power's out! Will the doors open without it?' She wondered, gazing at the gate that lead into freedom.

As the power went out, the locked doors opened up, allowing all dinosaurs to escape. Slowly swinging open, herbivores bellowed out a roar, storming out through their enclosures and crashing into shopping vendors. Snorting and roaring in anger, they shook their bodies and grumbled in agitation.

Jack roared loudly, running out of his enclosure and smashing into one of the small stores. Debris fell around him, smoke lifting up into the air as he roared again. The humans around him screamed in complete and utter terror, running for their lives and crying. "Yeah, that's right. Run, you cowards! Run! Run for your lives, because the mighty Carnosaur is here to get his revenge!" He snarled, his tail lashing.

Dash quickly climbed out of the pool, looking at Delta. "Delta! We can escape!" He grinned happily, his sharp teeth glinting in the light.

Peter heard the roars and snarls, trembling in fear. "Sasuke, we have to do something!" He whimpered.

Sasuke Immediately nods " let's go now!" He says as he begins to grab peters hand and run out of the restaurant but nightmare was there, roaring loudly with power as frost roars loudly at jack " not in my home!" She says in anger

Jack snorted. "I've been cooped up in that little cage for YEARS now! This is my time to escape!" He snarled, turning around to face Frost. "And NOBODY will stop me!" Anger flared in Jack's eyes as he growled.

Peter held Sasuke's hand tightly, yelping in fear as he saw Nightmare. "Nightmare! I-It's okay! Calm down, boy!" He held his hand up, looking up at him with eyes full of fear and surprise.

Star looked up at the sky as water droplets soaked her to the bone. "There's a storm, Breeze!" she exclaimed, stretching her wings to full wingspan when she noticed that the enclosure starting to flood. She flapped, immediately rising into the air, chuckling when she saw some humans massing together towards the main building in fear. 'Sucks for you, cowards! I have a skill that you will never have, and you didn't even feed me!' "We need to get high. The enclosures flooding!" she shouted towards Breeze, hoping the rain didn't cloud her out. Stardust then flew to the highest tree in the dome. Then the lights flickered out. 'The power's out! Will the doors open without it?' She wondered, gazing at the gate that lead into freedom.

Breeze let a screech escape her, quickly risking, her wings flapping as she looked around. And when the rain grew stronger, she could feel herself getting soaked, making it harder to fly, but she didn't care. She did manage to reach the tree that Stardust was in and she sat there, shivering. Why do I have to be so small? She wondered, shaking her drippin self off.

Delta grinned back at him. "About time." She replied, trotting out of the enclosure. Finally, I'm not surrounded by walls anymore! She thought, seeing shapes through the rain. She flicked her long tail, glancing around. First thing, she was still pretty hungry. The theropod peered at the shapes closer. Eating a human or two wouldn't exactly hurt. She growled, crouching, and letting out a roar.

He nudged the rocks off of her, sniffing her. "Are you alright?" He asked, nudging her gently. He looked back at Frost, narrowing his eyes.

Peter held Sasuke's hand, his eyes wide as he watched Nightmare walk off. However, Dash, on the other hand, was hungry. Sprinting towards Peter, he picked Peter up into his mouth, pulling him away from Sasuke and growling softly. Peter screamed and tried getting out, but Dash's teeth were ripping into his skin, making him cry out in pain. Dash flicked his tail and then turned, running away from Sasuke. He held Peter in his mouth before tilting his head up, trying to swallow him. "Dash, no!" Peter screamed, tears of pain sliding down his cheeks.

Breeze let a screech escape her, quickly risking, her wings flapping as she looked around. And when the rain grew stronger, she could feel herself getting soaked, making it harder to fly, but she didn't care. "The gates are open. The gates are open!" Star roared, diving down toward the gate. "Let's go, Breeze!" She cried, emerging into freedom. The open air felt wonderful as she heard the screams of terror from the hordes of humans. She noticed a crackling fire from a distance and some attacks from nearby dinosaurs. Screeching, she swept up into the air once more to escape from one attacking her. She circled the enclosure slowly, eyeing the ground as to make sure Breeze was okay. 'I don't want my only friend to get hurt,' she thought in worry.

Resting his head back on the wall, Peter heard Sasuke and looked at him, his eyes filling with relief and hope. "Sas.. Sasuke.." Peter whispered, unable to speak clearly. He was losing a lot of blood.

Dash yelped in alarm and pain, crashing down onto the ground. He roared in anger as he lost his prey, snarling and trying to escape from Nightmare. He raked his claws down Nightmare's chest and side, kicking out with his legs but missing. He roared some more in pain, trying to get Nightmare off of him.

Breeze flew after Stardust, her small shape barley visible beneath the thick gray clouds. She looked down, still struggling a bit to fly in the winds. "Jeez, flying in the enclosure is so much different from actually flying." She paused a moment, looking down at the humans, though she would never really think of hurting one. "But it feels great to actually be flying."

Delta turned. She could see Dash, plus another dinosaur pinning him down. She didn't really want the only friend she knew die, so, growling, she charged into the fight, using her powerful jaws to grab ahold of Nightmare's tail and tugging him backwards.

Strife crept out of the enclosure, snorting as he looked around. Seeing nothing easy to prey on, the mammal growled, breaking into a run. He was careful not to slip as he sprinted, and he did manage to climb onto the roof of a small building. He stood there, seeing what there was. He could see some dinosaurs fighting, and more that looked like they were about to fight. Stupid reptiles. The Thylaceo thought.

Grace liked at jack and smiled weakly. "T- thank you" she croaked shoving the small rocks off of herself. Than she limped over toward the cement wall that hadn't been broken. She looked at jack than frost. Fear shone dbright in her eyes. "NO!" she cried at the other dinosaur. She limped toward it hands outstretched. She wouldn't let jack get hurt. He may be a dinosaur but she knew his pain. She would let him escape unharmed

Bella keened as the house collapsed around her, running out into the wind and rain. She called loudly for Sasuke, then suddenly caught a whiff of his scent on the breeze. Terrified, her beautifully fluffy feathers soaked, she ran, following his scent and calling for him at the top of her lungs.

Strife growled, crouching as he saw a raptor sprinting through the rain. This should be easy prey. He thought, leaping off the roof of the small building, easily taking the small impact from jumping off in his thick legs. He landed in front of the dinosaur, growling as he faced her. He lowered his head. "Now what exactly are you sorry about...?" He asked, a growl erupting from his throat as he crouched lower to the ground, ready to pounce and knock her down, and hopefully, he could end the fight easily there.

"Okay, we can land as long as nothing dangerous can gain access to us," She said, her eyes searching for a good place to land. Normally, he would just be able to locate something based on scent, but this rain made hat pretty much impossible. Breeze shook herself off, but she knew it wouldn't really do any good. Rain still dropped down. Oh great, it was getting pretty cold. Isn't this just jolly? She thought, looking up towards Star and slightly scooting towards her. Currently, her head was tucked kind of low, perhaps that would mean that she could somehow stay warmer?

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Breeze moving closer to her. 'At least I'm not the only one,' she thought. "Now would be a great time to have feathers," she chuckled, trying to make her body more compact as she moved ever so close to Breeze that their wings touched. 'Lucky Breeze. She doesn't need as much heat as I do,' she thought, slightly jealous of her size.

"Yeah, true." She replied, laughing slightly. She tucked her wings closer to her body and just generally curled up, hoping that it would help get her warmer. She blinked once, wondering when the storm was going to be over, which would be pretty nice.
