Bad Experiments

They Said the end of the World would be different. It would be because of a war, or even Zombies. But what they didn’t say is that we would suffer through it. And Honestly, everyone that is alive rather be dead.

It all started when a group of scientist were testing on a Chimpanzee. The found out they could strengthen and extend it's life using some sort of electric current and some kind of red water. It wasn't blood, or anything they would teach you in science class. Believe me. So with that, they found a man willing to test it out. He was 70 years old, and with this he lived a lot longer.
But soon, a plague came to earth, killing almost everyone. After a week, the Government collected children and everyone younger than 25. Kids were taken away, families broken apart.
Now, many people live in a large lab. At night, the are hooked up to the machine, and left floating for the night. The meals are horrible, but are healthy in order to keep people from getting sick.
So Far, it has been 6 months since the project to keep humans alive has started, but what comes next?

Ray sat in his cell, lost in his thoughts. His eyes were dull as he stared at a blank sheet of paper. He rarely had ideas for drawings or writings but he always tried. They usually end up more like sketches or short stories rather then completed pieces, his hair looked unaturally black while sitting on the cell, although if he were ever to step into the sun it would look like a mix of black and brown. He sighed as he leaned his head againdt the cell wall, he was so bored.

Sam was on her bed snoring sleeping soundly while Jackson sat on the ground with a notebook writing down maths problems and solving them when he was bored he always did this since he had nothing else to do since his sister was asleep finally he let out a long sigh and leaned against the wall closing his eyes.

He crawled towards the door of the cell and attempted to looked out, "Who is scratching against the wall?" He asked. His tone was mostly curious, there was no aggression or irradiation in his voice. He couldn't really see anything outside the cell, except for what was in front of him. He thought the noise was coming from one of the cells beside his but he couldn't tell. His eyes flashed with warmth as the thought of talking to someone else swept across his mind.
