Echofrost felt a warmth spreading through her as she watched relief spread across the canvas of the cat before her. She was happy to be able to help him with his situation, even happier that she was the first to know about it and that he trusted her greatly. When he purred his thanks and leaned forward and licked her cheek her nerves tingled in delight. His touch left a lingering warmth on her face and she found herself purring at the feeling. If he could see her blush, it was on his ears, which she could feel flaring with heat. She felt embarrassed, giddy at the feeling he gave her. It hadn't been an immediate thing, they had known each other since they were freshly made apprentice, started their close bond then. it had been an affection that had slowly developed over time and now that she was a warrior, she knew she wanted it to be more. Everything about the tom was perfection in her eyes, he was her best friend, the only thing she held more important than herself. She didn't want to express her feelings, she didn't know how to express them. Though she didn't want him to think that she believed they were destined to be only friends and see him run off with another shecat. Her paws shuffled and she turned her sea spray eyes towards them, her tail flicking nervously. She felt her chest flutter with a nervousness that she had never experienced in her life. She'd always been so confident, it was what made her personality and feisty attitude so real. But here in the situation she felt impossibly uncomfortable and small. Everything she hoped for in her future depended on this moment, how he would react to what she had to say. Her stomach turned uncomfortably, making her feel sick. A deep breath and she was decided, she had to get this out. She lifted her head, puffed out her chest and tried to exude confidence as she told him her thoughts. "Ratsting, I want to be more than friends." Her voice wasn't as strong as her body position, it was soft and filled with emotion. Her eyes reflected the endless affection she had for the tom as they wavered between his two eyes, trying to decipher what he was thinking. "You're my best friend, the most important thing in my life. I really would like it to be something more though, I- I- I am beginning to like you as something different from a friend." She tried to explain. She didn't want to drop the love bomb yet, she knew it was there but she wanted to see what he thought before she let it out, save her from humiliation if he didn't feel the same way.

Lightningpaw trotted through the thunderclan territory, headed back to the camp after a long day of training. It had been a few more months since any major incedents had happened, and he was now almost 14 moons! He wasnt sure when he would become a warrior, however, since his powers alotted him to practice on his own, he didnt have an actual mentor to watch him, so no one could tell the leader when it was time for him to become a warrior.

Eaglepaw smiled at her softly. He then grinned as he leaned his paw toward the little stream. Jabbing his paw into the cool, clear liquid, he pulled his paw back and flicked it at Quailpaw playfully. The russet tom watched as the water droplets dotted her face and chest with a rumbling purr. "Gotcha." He mewed playfully.

Autumnpaw padded out into the dense forest territory from the camp’s entrance, her paws brushing across the cold, soft blades of grass underneath them. She could feel her claws sheathing and unsheathing as she walked, her emotions and train of thought getting to her in not the healthiest way. Everything seemed different and quiet, with only the sound of her weakened breath now and then Neither sound nor scent disturbed her, not even Lightningpaw’s. The young american bobtail shook her head and broke out into a run, flying through the undergrowth, leaping over rocks and the occasional tree log. The pounding of a headache echoed in her skull and it made her screech to a halt, her paws sinking slightly in the cold, smooth pebbles along side a calming riverbank. Autumnpaw placed herself at the edge of the water, her short tail flicking behind her as her stared at the reflection staring back at her in the water’s surface, a light breeze ruffled through her light brown pelt.

Lightningpaw sensed that Autumnpaw was somewhere nearby, but he didnt react to it. She might just be passing through to do something, and even if she did need him, she would be coming to him. He continued on his way to the camp, when a squirrel caught his eye. He still sucked at hunting, but he might as well try. Crouching down,he approached the squirrel, soon after getting within leaping distance. He pounced, but wasnt quick enough as the squirrel heard him and ran off, making him fall flat on his stomache. "Mouse dung..." he muttered to himself as he continued back to the camp.

Quailpaw smiled back, watching as Eaglepaw dipped his paw into the water. The grey and white she-cat was confused at first, then her eyes went wide as he splashed the water at her. For a moment she just laid there in shock, whiskers quivering as water dripped from them. Then she let out a soft laugh. "Oh yeah?" That said, she leaned her own paw into the water, flicking some back at the Tom. "Ha!" She purred, grinning.

Poppyleaf walked beside her patrol. the forest was full of the sounds of prey, birds in the trees and mice in the leaflitter. poppyleaf smelt mouse. "wait, i hear something, i think it's a mouse!" she whispered to the patrol. creeping forward she hered her prey scuffeling among the dry leaves. poppyleaf crouched aiming for the moving leaves and sprang! killing her prey with one bite to the neck. "weldone!" stoneclaw her mate said to her. the warm creature in her jaws smelled so good, she wanted to eat it there and then." feed the clan first though." said her mate, breaking her thoughts. almost as though he could sence what she was thinking.

"I'm fine, just a tad bit dazed but i'll be alright" Stormpaw said. He was used to getting hurt and crashing into things. He was always distracted which made him clumsy so I guess you could say thats the price he pays for being such a daydreamer.

Ratsting pulled back, and looked curiously at Echofrost. She seemed nervous and uncomfortable, quite unlike her usual confidant demeanor.
His green eyes opened wider with every word she spoke. He stood silent for a few moments in mild shock once she finished. Echo really did like him more then a friend. Well, that made it much easier for him, as he was about to tell her the same thing. His mind flew back to their first meeting. They were newly made apprentices, hunting together in the Territory. They didn't really know what to think of each other at the time. But over the many moons they grew closer, learning more about each other, and becoming closer friends. However, the past couple moons Ratsting had started to realize that he had more feelings then just friendship for the feisty shecat. He had gotten the feeling that lately she might feel the same way about him, but that was different from actually hearing her say it herself.
The warrior realized he had been silent for a rather long stretch of time, and cleared his throat, though still not exactly sure what to say. His stomach had butterflies, and he hoped his voice wouldn't squeak. "Echo..." He swallowed, and continued. "I- I feel the same way." He mewed softly. "Over the past couple moons I've noticed that my feelings of friendship have evolved into...more-then-just-friend feelings." His green eyes flickered to the ground, then back up at the cat in front of him, not sure how much he should say. "You are also the most importent cat in my life, and I could never say how much I care about you." He hesitated there, waiting for her response.

Autumnpaw shook her head, her ears flattening against her head as she looked up towards the clouds, seeming to ask Starclan for answers to her questions that lurked within her train of thought. The small she-cat looked down at the reflection in the clear, glass-like water and she attempted to give a smile, but all she could see was his smile with his handsome features and brawny figure. He was in her mind yet again, like an annoying flea on the back on her head. She jumped to her paws, turning swiftly and dashing back into the forest, her trail focused mainly on his scent. She needed to see him. It seemed like moons since you’ve talked with him.
The young, gawky apprentice seemed to fly through the undergrowth, her paws brushing across the cold blades of green grass. Once she could see his familiar outline in the distance, she crouched and crawled through some bushes towards him, tackling him abruptly into the smooth forest floor, uttering an amused purr. “Hello there, Lightningpaw! Miss me?” She said, her tone happy, but unusually quiet.

Lightningpaw wasnt very aware of Autumnpaw approaching him as he got angry at himself yet again for missing an easy catch. It wasnt until Autumnpaw was only a few tail lengths from him that he heard her and turned just in time to get tackled to the ground. "WOAH!" he said in surprise, hitting his shoulder on a sharp rock, giving him a nasty cut that was obscured under him. "Argh... I did miss you, but id prefer it if i didnt get knocked to the ground every time we met" he said, shaking Autumnpaw off of him and trying to stand up, but wincing as soon as he put his weight on the leg that got cut, which now was very visible and leaking blood down his leg which got soaked into his already ginger fur.

Autumnpaw eyes widened in slight terror when she caused him to get hurt and the small apprentice’s ears flattened, backing away from him. She whimpered, seeing the blood-soaked wound on his leg. I caused him to become injured. The apprentice thought, holding back from tears welling up in the corners of her eyes. I did this. Autumnpaw didn’t say anything, not really finding the right words. Saying an apology won’t mean anything at this point, words didn’t heal wounds. She was tempted to run off again in shame, but instead she walked closer to him, sniffing the bleeding wound gently. The skinny american bobtail looked up at him with a saddened gaze, her short tail drooping. The long-furred she-cat drew her sharp tongue across the wound, cleaning the salty, dark red blood out of his silky ginger fur. She said the she was sorry over and over and over again mentally as she nursed his cut, saying nothing out loud.

"You are also the most importent cat in my life, and I could never say how much I care about you." He hesitated there, waiting for her response.

As the silence stretched on, her nerves became more and more intense. For a quick moment she panicked. Did he not like her back that way? She could already feel herself crumpling at the though of that. Her eyes bore into his, wide with worry and anticipation. Finally his maw parted and her name came out, soft and wavering. His words were nervous and assuring all at the same time. He was in the same boat as her, unsure of how to express this unexplored and unknown sentiment. Neither of the two cats would ever be described as overly affectionate, they much preferred to be hard on each other and harder on others. Though a whole new side of them came out when they were around each other lately, her affectionate voice and his softer less teasing ways. They brought out the best in each other. Echofrost pushed Ratsting beyond his limits, she had ever since the day they met when she teased him into climbing the highest tree in the territory. Ratsing did the same for her, and he gave her something to channel all of her excess attitude into, into being almost overprotective of him. She didn't know what to say back when he had finished speaking, she couldn't even remember how to breathe as she stared deep into his muddy green eyes. It seemed so surreal that he shared her feelings, that things were suddenly drastically different now that the words had been spoken. Her eyes sparkled with an affection stronger than she had ever felt, glossy with tears from the overwhelming emotion. The bengal mix couldn't think of anything except wanting to be near him, closer to him in that moment, for no words could express her joy. So instead she shuffled forward, slipping her head under his chin and resting it against his shoulder. Her purr was strong and loud as she leaned up against his strong body. It was so different from the skinny frame of his apprenticeship many moons ago. How much they had changed since then. Only one though rang through her mind however as she leaned against him and wished for the moment to never break: I love you.

Autumnpaw shook her head vigorously, knowing that he was not alright. She walked up to him and lifted herself up on her back paws to touch noses with the tall, muscular tom-cat that stood before her. It was an act of apology, but more of affection. She wished that she could say so many things, but the clan wouldn’t allow such until they were warriors. Her claws dug into the soft ground underneath her as she scolded her harshly for everything that she had done to put more stress on his life. The american bobtail proceeded to push him lightly onto the forest floor, wanting him not to walk on his injured leg. She pressed up against him, burying her muzzle into his warm, soft neck fur, a few tiny tears slipping down her face, though they weren’t that noticeable. Autumnpaw loved him, but he would never understand what went through her mind every day. All the emotion and cruelty that she put on herself. She couldn’t bring herself to say anything still, not knowing the right thing to say.

This made her feel incredible, just being here with him, alone and with nobody to bother them whatsoever. The american bobtail stood up, pressing her forehead to his for a second or two before dashing off into the forest, going down the path that she had gone earlier, the scent of the stream locked in her senses. The small she-cat sniffed around the area beside the water, catching sight of a log halfway laying on the bank of the river. Autumnpaw smiled in triumph once she spotted a thick patch of fresh spider webs at the base of the crumpled log. She pawed apart the spider webs, balling them up into a pile and picking them up in her mouth. The taste was weird and sticky, but she proceeded to head back to her beloved friend. Come to think if it, what was she to Lightningpaw? What should she call them now? We’re they still best friends of something more now? Autumnpaw’s whiskers twitched as she dismissed the confusing thought. She trotted up to him, her muzzle warm with embarrassment by how shy and giddy she was around him. “”Here, hold still now. This might sting.” She said, her voice muffled by the patch of webs on her muzzle. Autumnpaw purred with delight as the soft, green grass brushed under her delicate paw-pads. She looked up at the strands of sunlight peeking through the leaves in the trees above them, making the forest look more beautiful than ever. The small, energetic apprentice giggled and tumbled through a small patch of dandelions, watching as their soft, strand-like seeds fly off into the air, some landing in her fur. The american bobtail gave a tiny, adorable sneeze once one landed on her nose. She emitted a large yawn, feeling slightly tired, but she shook her head, keeping herself awake for sake of alone time with none other than Lightningpaw himself. The scrawny female couldn’t keep back a smile, looking at him and marveling in his muscular built after moons of training. It wouldn’t be surprised if she wasn’t the only one in the clan that had her eyes out for him. He was quite handsome.

Following behind Autumnpaw, Lightningpaw gave a quiet laugh when Autumnpaw sneezed from the dandelion seed getting in her nose. "Its things like these that i miss. Just being able to spend time with you" Lightningpaw said as he laid down in the soft grass and rolled around in it, eventually resting on his back and looking up at the sky through the canopy of leaves.

The small american bobtail sat up in the pile of dandelions, brushing them off of her with one paw. She couldn’t help but look at him for a few moments, taking in the fact that he wanted to spend time with her, even though there were so many other choices. He chose her over everyone else. Autumnpaw thanked Starclan silently for that. Autumnpaw stood up and padded over to him, laying down on her back beside him, snuggling up against him and wrapping her paws around him, snugging her beloved friend. His warm and soft fur made her emit deep, relaxing purrs, making her forget all her troubles for at least a moment or two. She buried her muzzle into his neck for a few seconds, taking in his wonderful scent before directing her gaze to the sky that shown slightly through the tree leaves, echoes of cardinals and blue jays being heard in the branches around them. “I missed this.” She murmured, slight sadness in her tone, “I missed you..so much.” It was true and she hoped that this would last.

Lightningpaw was so relaxed in this state. No training to improve his powers. No worries about any hunting or any other troubles. It was just him and the cat he loved on a beautiful day. Although he also thought rainy days were beautiful too, considering his powers, but he knew Autumnpaw probably thought a little different. Cuddling up with her, his own purrs were almost loud enough to drown hers out. He was so lucky to have such a dedicated friend. She had never left him once, and had helped him every step of the way.

It was the closest thing to saying ‘I love you’ to him before they were warriors. It would be soon, but never soon enough. The small she-cat fell asleep with him there, his rumbling purrs as comforting as a lullaby for a kit. She wished that she could stay here forever, with him and nobody else.

The forest was still. Not even the wind dared to breathe, for the large bengal stood stock-still as he eyed his prey; a plump mouse, nibbling on something at the base of a tree, completely unaware of the cat stalking it. Shredfern, so light on his paws he seemed to be hovering above the ground, took a few steps forward, before lifting his tail a bit more, opening his watery jaws, and leaping forward, taking the rodent's life swiftly and taking it in his jaws. Alone, he hunted. He'd once taken a lovely gray she-cat on his hunts with him, but she'd long since passed due to a horrid illness that took most clan cats. He sighed and shook the thoughts out of his head. Ashstream was watching him from StarClan, and she'd scold him for being such a downer before cheering him up. Once his head was clear, he dropped the mouse and scraped some dirt the best he could, tasting the air to see if he could grab another catch before heading back to the clearing..

Echo fur fell low to the ground in a hunters crouch, tracking the mouse as if scuffled through the undergrowth. Anticipation crept through Echofur's every muscle as she tracked the smaller creature expertly. Finally, with one swift motion she leaded, trapping the mouse between her paws and finishing it with one bite. Satisfide with her catch she held it in her jaw, retreating towards camp

She pressed against him, rubbing the side of her face against his neck. His scent washed over her, making her whiskers twitch happily. This was perfect.

Ratsting stared into Echofrost's eyes as the silence stretched on. His heart seemed to swell with every passing moment. A loud purr burst from his chest as she leaned up against him. He was so overcome with emotion, that was all he could do. He bent his head over hers, giving her ear a lick. His heart was beating so loud and fast he was sure it would beat right out of his chest. This was so different from their earlier apprenticeship, he didn't know what to do. So instead of speaking, he simply stood there, his chin on her head, her head on his chest. His purring grew louder and louder, wishing the moment would last forever.

A fluffy tortoiseshell kit snuck out of camp, leading Timberkit out as well, leaving through the nursery. The tom was surpried when she had told him her age, and the molly was right when she said that she looked younger than she actually was. Orchidkit was glad that he actually looked a few moons older since he was treated with slight more respect from the other kits than everyone else in the nursery. He stopped when they were a bit away from the camp, and turned towards Timberkit. "I've been out here loads of time," he bragged. All that seemed to exist in the moment was the two of them, and it was a sensation Echofrost wanted to experience again and again, this solitude and peace. Though a brisk wind picked up and swept through the forest, piercing through her thin coat and sending a chill down her spine. It sang promises of leaf-bare and cold, cruel times. She pulled back with a shiver. "It's getting cold Ratsting." She mewed softly, looking up into her eyes with round ones filled with affection. She couldn't seem to wipe the awestruck look of love off her face. "We should head back before it gets too dark and chilly." She suggested, though she didn't want to go back to the clan. There were too many cats in the clan that she didn't enjoy the presence of for her to be happy there. Perhaps once Ratsting was in charge she could get some influence on who got to stay in the clan and what to do with the weaklings that she despised. "You need rest as you've got big plans coming up too."

He chuckled, and splashed her some more. "Because, this is where we go. To have fun and, well, I guess swim." he joked, and jumped onto the bank, splashing her one last time, laughing.

As soon as the other molly began in the direction that she had been appointed to, Jayflower headed her own way. She loved the feeling of the tall grasses rubbing against her pelt as she stalked through them, and she rubbed against them as she made her way towards where she imagined Silvercloud to be. As the mottled molly began to prowl forward she could hear the small rodents scuttling away, the smarter ones off to the sides and the victims towards her hunting partner. Those would be ended soon, and the ones that Silvercloud pushed towards her would also be ended in a confusing chase when all the prey met together in the center. She ran her tongue over her teeth, practically able to taste the flesh already as she breathed in their alluring scent. She picked up her prowl ever so slightly so that she would meet the other molly more quickly and receive her reward of prey. Empress Of Evil

As the tabby she cat was reaching her destination she started to sink lower to the ground till she was in a crouch. The grass made it hard for Silvercloud to spot her hunting companion, her amber hues unable to see past the many strands of grass. The she cat debated with herself about whether or not she should start going. Realising they hadn't really planned on a signal or anything. Silvercloud's thoughts soon wafted away into the air as she smelt a subtle smell of rodents. Forgeting about any signal she could try or anything of that sort, she let herself be distracted and opened her jaws lightly. Tasting the air. Grass and rodents. Though the second one was what she really wanted. She felt her mouth starting to water, just imagining the crunching of small bones. She started to prowl forward slowly, forgetting to wait or whatever she was meant to do. Her belly rumbling softly.

BlueFeather , This is for yu.

Dustrage stalked through the territory, holding her tail up. She was here for prey, although you couldn't tell from the way she walked. Leaves and twigs rustled underfoot, but she paid no mind. Many elders would call her method of hunting irresponsible and pointless, but she paid no mind to what anyone thought.

Seemingly randomly, she dropping into a crouch and prowled silently toward a certain spot in the midst of the forest floor. When she was only a few feet away from it, she pounced. Nothing. The mouse had heard her and scurried away. Hissing in anger, she straightened up, then crouched down again. When she really needed to, she could hunt well, but usually she just messed around.

Now, however, it was time to get some freshkill.

After only about ten minutes, she had easily caught three mice. She held them by the tail in her mouth and started walking back to camp when she heard something.....

It sounded of a wounded kit.. in the distance a little kit had hurt herself from a fall onto a rock.. the kit just limped into a box that was slightly rotting and breaking apart.. the kit goes into the box and lays into a leaf pile made with moss and grass for a comfy bed.. the kit then tends for her wound...

Timberpaw padded into the territory, the young tom looking around almost uneasily. He wasn't quite sure why he had ventured out at this moment- until he remembered, he was trying to escape from the more crowded clearing. Unfortunately for him, silence was something that he rarely got, and he appreciated it when he could have it. Timberpaw's senses were all on high alert, and he felt as though he could hear any noise. Despite being a well built cat, Timberpaw was a good hunter and was pretty good at moving quietly. He could smell several different scents, including the ones of other cats...a few he recognized and could name, and others he wasn't sure where they came from. Timberpaw's tail twitched slightly, almost unconsciously, and he looked back in a startled manner, having heard the sound of a twig snapping as he did so. He crouched low to the ground, his green orbs fixated on the spot where he had heard the noise, and he crept forwards over-eagerly, accidentally finding his tail caught between two branches. He gave a frustrated mew, eventually managing to pull it out without causing any damage to it, but by the time he turned back the noise had stopped and he had lost the scent and position of whatever it was. The young tom could feel a slight stinging sensation in his tail still, and knew it was most likely sore from being pulled out from between the branches. It hadn't exactly been an easy fix- and it only reminded him more of how clumsy and insecure he could be. Why can't I be more confident of what I'm doing and pay more attention to my surroundings? Timberpaw thought to himself, as the tip of his tail began to twitch in an irritated manner once more. He was almost hoping that another cat would show up- perhaps he would be able to make a new friend. Besides his sister, Timberpaw had had very few friends and at the moment, none at all.

Apurva crept through the undergrowth, setting down each paw carefully, as if stalking a mouse. She wasn't really sure where she was. She'd never been here before, and it made her rather on edge. Around her, trees swayed in a warm breeze, making the leaves rub together, creating a loud rustling that put her off. She accidentally stepped on a twig and it broke with a loud crack. She looked around, not sure what to do. Suddenly, the strong, fresh scent of cat washed over the molly, and her green eyes widened with panic. The red black and white molly quickly darted through the trees, stopping a good distance away. From where she'd scented the cat came a new, sounding a little frustrated to her. Curious, Apurva made a wide circle around, keeping away, but moving in an almost crescent shape so she could come around behind whoever it was. Suddenly, the forest didn't seem quite as inviting. It seemed darker, more foreboding. She pressed up against an oak, peering around it carefully. Now she was downwind, and she hoped the winds wouldn't shift. She saw a young tom. Maybe just a little younger than herself. She didn't move, then, after a moment, she took several steps away, careful not to disturb the leaves that covered the ground in a thick layer. I thought I'd be alone. But nope. There seems to be cats everywhere.... the young loner was mildly disappointed, though she was also curious as to who that was. She sighed, then went forward again, her green gaze watching carefully as she waited, wondering what he was doing. Where she was, beside the oak, was quite shady, and she hoped it would help hide her. Besides, I doubt he'll see me anyway. She added, hoping she was right. Apurva knew she was taking a big risk by staying in one place so long, but she didn't bother to move.

She opened her mouth to scent the air, vole hitting her instantly. Vole doesn't sound too bad either... She licked her lips, already imagining the sweet scent. Crouching, the calico she-cat padded softly towards the source of the smell. Seeing some blazes of grass twitch, she paused again. She swiveled her ears forward, listening. That's it! Crouching lower, she carefully stalked forward. The movement from the prey halted, and the vole dashed out of it's hiding spot. Mouse-dung, it spotted me! She quickly dashed to her side and slammed her paw down, just barely managing to trap the creature and giving it a kill bite. She looked sheepishly for Amberstorm, wondering if he saw her sloppy catch.

His claws effortlessly snatched onto the bird a clean kill! He had the urge to bounce around happily but covered the feeling incase she was watching.

Maplefur let out a huff. "Yeah you are, but barely. That was a lousy catch," she admitted. She dug a hole for her vole and dropped it in before covering it back up. Looking back up, she saw Amberstorm pounce and catch a bird. "Nice catch!" She trotted over to his side and bumped his shoulder playfully. "Your're still crowfood, though."
(Good night!)

"I don't mind sneaking away into the territory too avoid that duty.", Timberkit laughed and bounded forward. The breeze of the wind felt great on her pelt and she liked it. Then her ear perked up when she heard the word she was thinking. "Is that what it is called?!", Timberkit asked as she stopped. "I wonder how many cats are there anyway...Probably a lot!", Timberkit mewed as she kept walking. "I bet they might be scared of ya When you become a warrior Orchidkit you will be HUGE compared too them!", The lass said as her tail swayed back and forth.

Orchidkit smiled as Timberkit got excited when he named the thing she was looking forward to. He thought about it for a moment, wondering what it was actually like. "Yeah, gotta be so many cats that they can't even all fit!" He didn't know how big the Seastones were, but couldn't imagine a place that could hold cats form all four clans. "It's probably as crowded as the nursery, too," he wrinkled his nose in disgust at the thought, but then threw a joking smile towards the molly. As she stated that they'll probably be afraid of her due to his size, he gave a proud look, puffing out his chest similar to how he did on their first trip. "I'll have them trembling in their pelts! Especially those scrawny Windclanners," he could just imagine the gathering when he's a warrior and even bigger than he currently was. He'd look even bigger compared to the small cat of Windclan. "Do you hear anything about the gathering? From your parents or other apprentices?" Orchidkit questioned, not many people spoke to him about it so he wasn't too aware of what to expect when the time came.

"I probably would fit! all I need to do is squeeze between there bodies with ease, One thing I'm looking forward too is seeing all of the clan leaders!", Timberkit said excitedly then she tilted her head in confusion by the look Orchidkit gave off. "I see what you mean. You are really big for a kit and the other kits just sound like a bunch of crying mouse brains.", Timberkit hissed under her breath as she was starting to get annoyed by everything that went on in the nursery. "But soon after three moon we will be apprentices and we will have a bigger den and go into battles!", The lass said as she went into some weird fighting stance. Then she thought about his question and shrugged her shoulders. "I never really heard them talk about it to me not even my mother. Also I don't talk too any of the apprentices..", Timberkit said as she kept walking.

The tortoiseshell could just imagine the small molly trying to squeeze in between a bunch of other warriors who would be squished while she could have enough room to be comfortable during the Gathering. When she started to describe how she saw the other kits they shared a den with, he furrowed his brows. He knew that the kits were annoying, but hadn't really thought of that as that bad. Though after a moment of thinking about it, the tom gave a small shrug. "I guess you're right about that one," the larger kit laughed. "Yeah, I can't wait 'til we become apprentices! That bigger den is definitely something to look forward to," he had snuck into the apprentices' den before - it was comfortable compared to the nursery, but he knew it would be more roomy for Timberkit due to the difference in their size. Orchidkit smiled as she brought up battles. "I can't wait for battle training and then being an actual part in battle," the fluffy tortoiseshell gave a small bounce in his step with this.

She had no intention to hunt or run around like she used to, for now she was carrying kits of her beloved mate, Lightningclaw. The american bobtail knew that he would be deeply concerned with her causing a fuss while expecting, so she took it easy today. The soft chirps of birds rang in the trees above her as rays of sunlight shimmered on her back, making the small she-cat purr with delight. She sat down in the cold, green grass and watched as orange and red leaves fell from the branches, now drifting off in the wind on an adventure of their own. Everything seemed to happen so quickly, yet time stood still at this moment.

Scenting mouse, she checked which way the air was blowing and moved downwind before stalking forwards slowly. Soon she saw the grey rodent, crawling along some fallen tree branches. Placing her steps delicately, she moved closer before pouncing and landing square on it. She finished it off before it could make a sound, raising her head happily. "See? I'm not that bad." She moved back to where she buried her vole, uncovering it and adding the mouse to her pile.

She turned to Amberstorm, about to suggest they leave. Seeing him crouched and looking like he was about to catch something, she immediately shut her mouth. Looking harder, she noticed a bit of white fur ahead of him. Rabbit! She stayed perfectly still, knowing how difficult it could be to catch one. She remembered vaguely how she had hoped to find a rabbit at the beginning of their hunt, but then again she was always hoping to catch one, as they were her favorite prey. Amberstorm could tell that she was watching him i can't mess up right now... He sneaked away and climbed up a tree. His own technique. He carefully and quietly got closer until he was on a branch closer to the rabbit. He grabbed a small loose twig and threw it into the leaves on the other side of the clearing. Autumnleaf padded through the dense undergrowth that was the hunting grounds of Thunderclan. She shut her eyes and kept her head low as she walked along, feeling soft green grass brush under her paws as a chilling leaf-fall breeze ruffled her long, golden-brown fur that made her shiver. The small american bobtail gave a steady sigh, her head aching slightly from the lack of sleep that she had gotten in the past couple nights. With all the lingering thoughts in her brain, she couldn’t think straight and it made her quiet. She hoped not to worry Lightningclaw with her odd behavior, it was just her usual depression - which she had when she was an apprentice, nothing has really changed in her personality since her warrior ceremony. Autumnleaf stretched out her front paws and quickened her pace through the bushes until she reached a shallow stream, sitting down and watching as orange and red leaves floated down the current. She was completely silent with only a single flick of her ear to signal her attention to her surroundings.

I wouldn’t want to harm the kits with hunting, would I?” Autumnleaf said, patting her belly with one paw. To his other statement, she did not reply right away, instead she just stared at the water for a second or two. “I guess I cannot avoid you anymore.” She said with a light-hearted chuckle, “I’m glad that you are willing to spend more time with me than when we were apprentices.” Her tone was shallow and almost dull as she breathed in the fresh air that was mixed with various scents. “I don’t think that it would be very good for me to be alone without you. Nighty

A small Abyssinian wearily made his way onto the Thunderclan territory. His legs were shaking, but more out of fear than weakness. He didn't know much of the clan cats, all he knew was that he was on land he shouldn't be... but where else could go? He ran away, and if he went back he'd be punished - possibly even killed. Avorton was too small and thin for the Syndicate, he was viewed as weak there, so this was his attempt at an escape. They no longer visited the clans so he believed himself to be safer here than out there, wandering around territories that the Syndicate could easily access - he doubted they'd come looking for him, but if they happened to find, then they would kill him. Suddenly Avorton tripped on a root that stuck out of the ground and fell on his face.

Nightbreeze prowled through the territory. Her black pelt blended in with the myriads of shadows cast by the branches overhead. Her green orbs glowed bright in the forest, they scanned from left to right searching for signs of prey. Her ears remained alert and pricked forwards, occasionally swinging to listen for the small prey. At the sound of dead leaves crunching she immediately assumed a piece of prey, possibly a bird. Instinctively, she dropped into a hunters crouch, a specialty of Thunderclan, and crept forwards, keeping her tail off the ground and her ears pinned back. The molly adjusted her leg's position and sprang forwards claws extended. Unfortunately for her, she didn't remember to check her scent, so when she landed on top of a brown tinted kit, she was rather startled and backed off rather quickly. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" she asked worriedly.

The young tom wasn't paying attention to the sounds of Nightbreeze's approached as she search for prey, nor was he aware of her intents to attack him due to her misjudging him as prey. His green orbs grew wide when the black figure leaped from the bushes and feel upon him. Avorton stared up at the warrior, his shaking increased. Though the Abyssinian watched her quickly get off of him after realizing that he was actually just a kit and not any kind of prey, he was still cautious about the stranger and wasn't sure if she would leap at him again - he still knew nothing about the clans. When Nightbreeze asked if he was okay he tried to force a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine... I'm Avorton!" His fake pleased tone was pretty convincing, something he had been working at for some time now. Despite his fake happiness, he was still scared and uncertain, and he was still a bit shaky.

Nightbreeze was at first relieved, but her suspicion was still lingered. As many kits as she had raised, she was very good at knowing when someone was lying. Although, the she cat decided to play along. "I'm Nightbreeze. Hello Avorton. That is a strange name. Are you a loner?" She asked, curiosity perking her voice tone. He kept padding until a strong scent of vole fluttered across his nostrils. At this he stopped and turned to his newest apprentice. "Alright Lightpaw, what do you believe would be the first step in hunting?" He questioned hoping to get a basis of knowledge about this young perky she cat before he began training.

Jayflower could hear the other molly now, the soft settling of her paws. She grew anxious to get prey and pressed forward more quickly, they were like sharks circling their school of fish. The grasses were thick but her eyes transpersed the layers nearest to her and she caught site of a nice and plump field mouse, fat before the leaf bare. She pounced at it, leaping high and landing atop it. It was easy to do, the rodent couldn't see her approach nope hear her coming down on it until the last minute. The sweet feeling of flesh under her claws was instantaneous before her jaws dropped swiftly upon the creature and broke it's neck. It dangled in her jaw and she popped her head triumphantly above the grasses, standing tall to look for her hunting partner.

Following her mentor, Lightpaw had no time to stop and smell everything. There's so much to see!! She heard Arrowheart's quiet voice, and stumbled to a halt next to him. Sure, she could scent something, but she had no idea what it was. "What is that?" She asked, trying to keep her voice low. "The first step? Uh... get close to it?" Honestly she was clueless, but she didn't want to let her mentor down. Surely if I guess I'll get something right, right?

Timberpaw jumped, feeling a shudder going through his pelt. The young tom had never been exactly the bravest cat...although he was loyal to his friends, and he did try his best to be a good apprentice, despite his flaws. He could scent another cat...although their scent was unfamiliar, and strange to him. Almost as though they weren't from ThunderClan at all, although the thought didn't cross his mind. "Hello? Is there someone there?" He asked, trying to hide his anxiousness. He was a little nervous, mainly because he wasn't quite used to talking to other cats, unless he was in a good mood, or in a confident one. Normally he appeared confident, but at the moment he seemed to be showing more of his true colors than before. Trying desperately to regain his posture, his eyes flitted over towards the oak where Apurva was hiding. He narrowed his green orbs, crouching down to the ground and appearing to be a little more hostile than he usually was...perhaps it was because he was embarrassed, or perhaps it was because he could sense that whoever was there didn't have much business being there. "If there's someone there, come out now!" He mewed, his voice trembling slightly, although it was hard to catch. Timberpaw wondered if he was just talking to a squirrel, or a bird. If he was, he would probably feel more embarrassed than he already did. That would be all he needed, another embarrassing moment to add to his long list. He kept his posture...even if it wasn't another cat, maybe it would be something like a badger or a fox, and then he would have to put his strength to the test. Oh, and I'm not very good at fighting either...He thought, with a depressed sigh. Well, he was just going to have to do his best. His eyes narrowed, claws unsheathed, Timberpaw continued to glare at the oak, as though he expected an enemy to jump out at any moment.

Orchidkit lashed his tail as Timberkit laughed off his attacked. He did feel the heat of embarrassment at this, but he decided to let it slide since he didn't want an actual fight. Instead he let himself relax and laughed with her. "What can I say? I haven't really started my training yet," the tortoiseshell point out. He sat down for a moment and glanced around. "Why does some much of our territory look a like?" He huffed randomly. Orchidkit blinked and turned back towards the molly. "Sorry - that was random!" He laughed.

The little kit chuckled a little before she let out a sigh. "Yeah we both haven't started our training just yet.", Timberkit purred as she smiled. "Maybe when we are some what trained maybe we can fight each other.", The young she-cat said smiling at the tom. Then hearing random words come from his mouth she looked at him confused. "Yeah it was but everyone is weird right?", She laughed with him.

He said answering the question. "If you don't smell or see your prey then it's pointless trying to hunt it." He insturcted. "Now, lift your nose and tell me if you scent anything."

Flamingarrow trotted into the cave, his orange tabby pelt smooth and slick. The young tom turned around ready to begin training his first ever apprentice. He was feeling several different emotions at the time. He was happy to follow in his old mentors foot steps and help train the future of the Clan, but at the same time, he felt nervous wondering if what he had to teach would be good enough to get this young cat's future into the Clan as a full warrior of Thunderclan. Besides, Burstpaw's future rested in Flamingarrow's paws right now, and to him that could be a tad bit intimidating. "Okay Burstpaw." He sighed. "Let's get to it. What do you know about fighting?" He repeated, calling back to memory the first battle training session he had had with Arrowheart.

Apurva remained still and silent, her pale green orbs bright. She saw how the brown tabby tom appeared quite nervous, though she was impressed. Not many knew when she was watching then, and even less spoke out. Most of the time they shrugged, dismissing the idea that they were being watched. As he spoke, the large black and red she-cat shifted from paw to paw, her eyes flashing uncertainly. She scented the air, picking up his fear-scent. Apurva stiffened. Why would he be scared...? then she realized that he hadn't seen her, and had every reason to be scared. Apurva crept slowly forwards so that her eyes were visible from behind the large oak that she was hiding behind. Her eyes clouded for a moment as memories of wandering the woods alone, calling for her kin flooded her. She remembered every feeling she'd felt at the time: fear, grief and loneliness. Apurva raised a large white paw, stepping down forcefully so the leaves crackled, and, as the tom crouched down in a defensive posture, she carefully moved back. When he spoke again, his voice was louder, but trembling. Apurva stepped out from behind the oak tree, moving with an easy grace that she would most likely ruin by tripping due to her huge paws. "Congratulations." She muttered, taking a step closer, her voice was calm, though her fur bristled defensively. She wouldn't fight him, even if he fought her. She wouldn't fight back, that just wasn't her. Maybe it had to do with her time as a kittypet, though she doubted that. "Not many would've noticed." She added, crouching down about three fox lengths away, keeping her eyes clear of emotion. Apurve kept her muscles bunched, ready to spring away at a moment's notice, her ears flat to her head protectively. Apurva sighed, sizing up the the brown tabby, who had lighter areas and very dark stripes. After a closer sniff, she decided that he smelled a bit like wood and freshly churned earth. It was a good smell, while Apurva herself smelled like stale fox scent and musky dirt, which could be chased by living in an old fox den.

Timberpaw's expression changed slowly, and he seemed to be almost considering whether it was
The right thing to approach her or not. He shifted slightly, simply meeting her gaze with a calm, confident one. "Thanks." He answered simply, before the familiar gleam of flirtation entered his eye and they seemed to spark with a new fire like personality. "I find that hard to believe...you're very noticeable," He mewed, his voice a charming purr. It was sleek, and didn't sound exactly genuine- although he was obviously trying to keep it that way. He examined the she cat...she was certainly attractive, although her pelt was just a little messy. Bit of grooming would clean that right up though, he thought with a slight grin spreading across his maw. "What's your name, beautiful?" He asked, the purr still in his voice. If there was one thing he knew about she cats, it was that many liked being complimented...which was why he had taken up the practice of flirting. He believed that maybe, just maybe, if he could gain her approval, they could be friends. It was hard enough to find a friend in his own clan, perhaps she would be someone that he could speak to? But of course, his general plan usually backfired. Timberpaw let out a sigh, curling his tail around his paws as he sat, looking a little more than depressed...although because of his calm expression, it could easily have been mistaken for just part of his natural appearance.

Timberpaw could scent fox on the she cat, which alarmed him slightly, as foxes were dangerous animals and he could hardly believe that she might have been living around them...besides, she didn't exactly look like she was used to having many run ins with other cars. He could only imagine what a fox encounter might do to her. Although she certainly moved with an undeniable grace...perhaps a former kittypet or Clan cat? He thought, unable to believe that a rogue sold be able to move with such agility and grace. No, she certainly couldn't have been born a rogue...although he knew that it was a personal question and one that should not be asked at the moment, Timberpaw couldn't help but wonder just what had happened in the she cats life that had led her to ThunderClan territory? His duty was to chase her off...after all, it was the right thing to do according to the Code, and to the rest of the Clan...but she looked like she probably would have trouble finding another place to stay. The tom was torn between his duty as an apprentice, and his hearts quiet whisper telling him to let her stay. He seemed to be staring right through her, although he was trying to decide what to do.

He furrowed his brows when she stated that his name was weird. No it's not! He silently snapped back. But the young tom wasn't looking for a fight, and rather the opposite. When she asked if he was a loner the kit went silent for a moment. Loner...? He realized that that would be a much better story than the true one. "Mhm, yup," he gave an abrupt nod. Avorton then stopped and looked back up at the night colored molly. "Y-You're not going to chase me out, are you?" The worried look in his gaze was genuine.

She dipped her head slightly, showing that she was no danger. "I'm Apurva." She said quietly. "And your name?" She tilted her head quizzically. "Yeah it was but everyone is weird right?", She laughed with him.

"Yup, to be resumed," the the tom laughed as she stated that they'd fight when they had any sort of training on the matter. "And I'll hold you to it," he laughed. After he stated that everything looked the same and the claimed that it was random, he watched Timberkit to see if she had a judgmental look on her face. At first she showed him confusion and he started to get worried that she thought he was strange and wouldn't want to spend time with him anymore - but then she laughed and said that everyone was weird. Orchidkit relaxed and laughed it off. "True, but you seem to enjoy the territory, do you think that it looks kinda... boring?" With lack for better words.

He just didn't see how a loner could move with such ease, like they were...dancing on air, Timberpaw thought a little nervously. He wasn't used to she cats sticking around for very long after he had flirted with them, generally they ran off or got mad at him. But perhaps she didn't quite understand, which must be a good thing...at least she wasn't running away. His thoughts came back to the present with a snap as Apurva asked him if he was alright. "Yes, yeah, I'm...fine," He mewed, looking at her a little uneasily. Why is she standing so close...why'd she come over here...oh great, I don't know what to do now...this doesn't happen to me very often, um...He thought, his mind racing to think of something, anything to do to distract himself from her presence. He looked up at the sky and around at the surrounding trees, but nothing was coming to him. He glanced back at Apurva with an uneasy chuckle. "Uh, so, tell me something...about...yourself," He mewed, not quite sure if that was the best way to continue the conversation. Generally after he learned another cat's name, he didn't see them again for a while...either they were she cats who ran off, or toms who had elsewhere to be and other things to do. But if she was a loner, that would explain why she wasn't running off...she probably didn't know quite what to do. At least she wasn't touching him, he got increasingly nervous with physical contact...although he had never understood quite why.

She took several steps back before settling down. He had dropped whatever it was he was doing before, for which Apurva was grateful. It'd bothered her slightly, making her fell like there were ants in her pelt. "It's nice to meet you." She meowed. "And, I guess you could call me a loner. I'm not really any of those. I'm halfway between a loner and a rogue." She purposefully left out that she'd once been a kittypet. But the life of a kittypet was boring. There was no fun. No adventure. Nothing to do all day, so of course, she'd left. Now, she travelled, searching for a place she'd fit in, belong. She'd never really felt that she'd belonged anywhere. No one wanted her when she was a kit, and very few didn't attack her on the spot now. She'd even tried searching for her brother, but he'd attacked her, saying she'd only slow him down. She didn't care what happened to him anymore, which was very uncharacteristic of Apurva, since she cared for anyone who needed it. "A Clan?" A look of nervousness crossed her face, and for a moment, sorrow filled her gaze. Her fur bristled nervously and she took a step back. "Is a Clan like that rogue group?" She asked, her gaze flitting around as if she expected evil cats to burst out of nowhere and attack. "Okay." She said, though she wasn't sure she believed him. He seemed very nervous, even more nervous than herself. She wasn't sure how to answer his next question, though it seemed simple enough. It's always the seemingly simple ones that are the most difficult. she thought, flicking her tail, amused by that thought, though she was also very troubled by this, and it was several moments longer before she finally answered Timberpaw's question. "Well...I like adventure." She said, thinking of the many adventures she'd had since leaving TwolegPlace four moons earlier. "Now you tell me a bit about yourself." She tried to sound friendly, but it came out as a unsure murmur, hardly audible. Apurva looked away from Timberpaw, closing her eyes. It felt good to talk to someone who didn't take one look at her and react with either running or fighting. Sure, she was larger than most cats her age, but it was just because of what kind of cat she was. Being bigger didn't automatically make her a threat or a bad cat. Sometimes, cats just needed to learn to trust. It was definitely the hardest thing to learn, but it was possible.

"I'll beat your flee bitten pelt any day.", the kit said as she smiled. SHe was having a lot of fun messing around with Orchidkit. Then when he asked her a question she thought about it for awhile. "Well it would be a lot more fun if we could explore a lot more but I don't think we are allowed anywhere outside of the thunderclan territory...", The kit answered as she looked the tom in the eyes.

Avorton gave an inward sigh of relief when the older cat didn't question him about anything too personal. Nightbreeze... what a strange name, he thought, not knowing what kind of name it was.
Nightbreeze continued to offer her usual kind, mother like c=smile to the kit. If he was here as a loner then ither he had run away from home, gotten lost, or had been left here because the mother couldn't care for him. The latter of the options was the one she had run across the most, but both had been encountered. "Alright then Avorton, I won't chase you out, I promise." She said softly. "You're much too young to stay out here by yourself. But tell me, why are you here?"

Timberpaw gave a small, uneasy smile, and nodded slowly. "Oh...I see. And you like living on your own?" He asked. He couldn't imagine living all by himself, without the help of clanmates...although truth be told, he wouldn't have minded the bullies and more stubborn cats being removed from the Clan. They weren't exactly the most...how did he want to put this...friendly or kind cats, especially to him. He believed that they could have the ability to be more friendly, although they were very good at hiding it if they had it at all. Timberpaw yawned, stretching out as he did so and flexing his claws. He was tired...and he found that he was also very tense and a little worked up. Perhaps that was just because he had believed her to be some kind of dangerous animal. Although now he could see that that obviously wasn't true...she appeared to be a decent enough cat. He was glad he hadn't decided to chase her off...she obviously didn't have any companions, and she looked as though she wasn't exactly planning an attack...on him, or on the Clan. Therefore, he concluded that she must not be a threat, although he knew that probably wasn't how most cats would think. He was a little different than most cats, after all. "No. No, no, we aren't rogues...we're...well, we kind of all help each other. There's the leader, who is in charge of the whole Clan and all the cats in it...the Deputy, who helps the leader...the Medicine Cat who takes care of us when we get sick or hurt, warriors, who are cats who have completed their training and know how to hunt, fight, and all that stuff...apprentices, like me, who are currently learning how to hunt and fight so that we can protect the Clan...Queens, who stay in the Nursery and watch over their kits...and kits, who are cats under six moons waiting to be apprentices, I guess." Timberpaw knew his explanation didn't really even scratch the surface of what the Clans were...and he prepared to go on. "There's four Clans....ThunderClan, where you are now, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan. And they all have a leader, deputy, medicine cat, warriors, apprentices, queens and kits." He finished, with a sigh. He wondered if Apurva would be able to understand all that he had said...he somewhat doubted it.

It was hard for any cat who hadn't been Clan-born and grown up around this kind of stuff to get a hold on, and he was ready to try and explain anything she was confused about as best he could. Who knows, maybe she'll want to join ThunderClan, he thought with a slight shrug. "Oh...me? I like hunting...and training, of course...exploring, I like exploring...talking to other cats..." He mewed, his voice trailing off as he tried to think if there was anything that he had forgotten. Probably not, honestly those were the only things that he really enjoyed doing and could honestly say that he did. Timberpaw's tail twitched as he looked over at his companion. "Adventure? Tell me about your adventures," He purred, with a note of amusement in his voice. This should be interesting, He thought excitedly. He liked hearing stories...and Apurva was bound to have a lot, being a loner...or rogue...or whatever she was, she had said she was somewhere in between.

Lightpaw was slightly disappointed she got the question wrong, but she eagerly stuck up her nose. Comon', Lightpaw! Think! What is that smell? "Uh... I can smell some kind of creature... I-I think it has fur... is-is it small?" Being a new apprentice she had no idea what a vole was; sure, she'd seen it in the fresh-kill pile, but how was she to know it's name? "I know I've smelled this before..." Lightpaw matched her tone with Arrowheart's, and turned her eyes towards him.
"I would hope you have." He said with a slight chuckle. "That scent would be a vole. Here in our territory they are plentiful, they like living in cracks at the roots of our trees." He said matter-of-factly. "Now, try out the hunter's crouch, like this:" He said dropping down, his hind legs, bunched behind him, front paws out in front. He swept his tail low so it hovered over the ground, but didn't disturb the dry leaves.

Apurva tilted her head, listening intently. "Kind of.... It does tend to get lonely, but sometimes, that isn't a bad thing, to be alone." She replied, wondering where she'd be now if she'd stayed with her brother. Dead probably. she thought sarcastically. Clans seemed a far better thing than she'd been told. There was no one who cared for anyone as far as she'd previously thought, but then, she still had much to learn. Some cats weren't bad. "Clans seem far better than I'd been told." She sighed. "They sound interesting." She thought that if all cats . Were anything like Timberpaw, then Clans must be great. "So, everybody takes care of everyone?" She asked curiously, crouching down and wrapping her tail over her paws. She hadn't been able to rest in a long time, and it felt good to settle down, just talking, not having to worry about things, like being killed, starving, or fighting off some thing or other. She wondered how Clans actually worked. What kept them from just falling apart. Apurva sighed, making sure he couldn't hear it. Maybe...maybe one day I could join the Clans, if I see that they are as good as Timberpaw makes them sound. Excitement filled her, maybe at last she might've found a place she belonged. Maybe I don't have to be alone again! she could barely contain her excitement at the very thought. She'd searched so long, but she'd always been rejected. She flicked her ears in surprise. "Well, there was this one time I fell in a bog and my half brother, Blade had to drag me out." She said, remembering that time as clear as yesterday. That'd been before Blade had been mean, and then he'd lost his confidence. She wasn't even sure he was alive anymore. "It took ages. I smelled like bog for half a moon later." She laughed. "Bog water tastes horrible, but it was still water, see, there was a draught, and that was the only water we'd found." She continued, stopping to lick her chest fur, embarrassed. "I fell in it twice after that." She added quietly. "So, have you had any adventures?" She asked, curious to hear any he had. She shifted, flattening her ears as a sharp wind rustled the leaves and made the trees sway as if they might fall over at any moment. She shuddered, even though she knew they wouldn't fall. They'd stood here for more seasons than any cat could count most likely, so why would they fall now of all times.

He looked out in the direction of Windclan, though they weren't actually close to the border. He was tempted to ask her if she wanted to go and and maybe explore a bit of the other clan's territories. Not too far, but around the borders. Though he remembered how little fun they had at the borders the last time and didn't want to ruin this time as well. "Well if their wasn't any boundaries there would be a lot of fights, Many mouths to feed, and not that much room for the cats in the dens.", The lass said as she thought for a while before looking back at the young tom. "And I'm sure the leaders would be HIGHLY against it anyway.", For one thing it probably wont even work out for any clan since each clan is like an enemy.

Following the other orange tabby, Burstpaw marbled at the size of the cave. It's so big! When Flammingarrow spoke, he knit his brows together, thinking hard. "Well... I know you can fight others, but defense is really important, too, cause otherwise you'll get hurt more than your enemy." He remembered the warriors talking to the apprentices about fighting techniques, and recalled them speaking sternly about defense. If they were talking about it, than surely it's important to me, too!

Lightpaw concentrated hard, trying her best to imitate Arrowheart's position. Legs bunched... She crouched, her legs bunching together. Head forward... She moved her head forward, and the vole scent became suddenly stronger. And wheat kind of name is vole? Her tail, though, was pushed all the way to the ground, and it lay dead as a mouse on the leaves. It made no noise, but the white cat's balance was a bit thrown off by it.

Butstpaw noted all of this, from the tail to the back legs. Tail down and back legs securely planted on the ground. Got it. Scared as he was, he was determined to do well; maybe he wasn't as scared of the fight as he was the failure involved... Burstpaw then tried to imitate Flammingarrow, putting his back paws on the ground a good distance apart and pushing his tail against the ground. He found his mentor was right; as he lifted his chest up he found he didn't fall over. It was kind of hard, and he wobbled a bit, but he didn't come crashing down tiki the ground like he'd thought. "Wha-" Leopardflight got up and looked at Frostpaw. "What did you do that for?" He said, seriously but with a little humor.
"S-Sorry..." she said, feeling her fur heat up in embarrassment. "I-I wasn't paying... attention.." she admitted, looking down at her paws, shuffling then nervously, her tail flicking.

As Lightpaw assumed the position, Arrowheart stepped forwards to correct her flaws. "Here, keep your tail off the ground, but don't wave it above you." He said using his brindled paw to lift her tail so that it hovered just above the floor of dead leaves. "This way, when you move, you don't disturb the leaves and make more noise." He stepped back and checked her position and gave a curt nod, that was mostly directed at himself, as his thought sometimes left his brain, but never escaped his mouth. "Now, " He stated as he crouched down beside her. "What you'll need to do, is bunch you hind leg's muscles, and then aim your pounce. Extend your claws mid air and aim your front paws for the midsection of the prey. If you miss don't feel too bad though, this is only your first shot, there will be many more attempts for you to hunt."

Lightpaw hardly understood what Arrowheart had said, but she nodded and tried anyway. Bunching her leg muscles like he told her to, she became even closer to the ground, and lifted up her tail more. She gave one final smell, making sure the vole creature was still there, and went for it! She leaped into the air, unsheathing her claws like she was supposed to, but as the ferns and bracken cleared she realized she knew nothing of where the vole was. She squeaked a bit, startling her prey, and landed head over paws a good couple mouse-lengths from it. Quickly, it scuttled away, and Lightpaw couldn't get up in time to chase it before it disappeared back into it's hole. She murrowed with frustration. "Mouse dung!"

"Oh well, if you've heard of us then you must be wondering which Clan you've set foot in?" She asked, her voice tinted with her usual sweet tone. "But for your information, you are in Thunderclan, the Clan of the fierce and brave." She said a tad bit proudly, her green optics shining bright. "Now, do you have a mother? Because if so you probably should be getting back to her, she must be wondering if you're okay."

He gave a nod as she asked if he was which clan's territory he happened to wander on. His ears perked as she stated that this was Thunderclan, were the warriors were fierce and brave. His pelt prickled slightly, but knew that Nightbreeze wasn't a threat to him - though he wasn't too sure about her clanmates. He wondered if they would be as fierce as the Syndicate, and if they would be harsh towards him like his former residence had been. He then shook his head as she asked about his mother. "No, I don't - I never met her, but I'm sure she wouldn't miss me anyway," he informed the warrior. He never really knew either of his parents, but he didn't let that get to him and he tries to continue on strongly.

Timberkit glared at the tom as he rolled his eyes. "Don't doubt your opponent, even the big can be beaten by the small.", The kit turned her attention somewhere else after that statement.

"I know that," he stated when she started to point out why they could never do that. "I just sometimes wish that our territory wasn't so boring - like go adventuring beyond the borders and that sort of stuff, ya know?" He flicked his tail as he thought about doing so. He'd never leave the clan to go traveling, he loved Thunderclan too much to go and do something like that. "I want to become an apprentice, fight in battles and everything like that - I need more excitement in my life than just sitting around in the nursery and only sometimes sneaking out... don't you ever get that bored?" Orchidkit looked into Timberkit orbs as he said the last part, letting her know that he was actually serious.

Nightbreeze looked at the small Abyssinian. Her eyes swept over the untidy fur that was ruffled, and was slightly aware of her own fur that was sleeked down and glossy. "I sure she would." She said attempting to comfort the kit, but she wasn't entirely sure it would work. "So, no parents?" She said a little bit glad that the kit was alone. Most of her kits were growing up and she was getting ready to move back to the warriors den, but upon finding Avorton, she would get to remain in the nursery, which she was happy to do.

Arrowheart crouched watching her form as she leaped into the air. His maw curved upwards a bit as he noticed she was doing well, until her aim was too long. His mouth curved into a slant. He stood up and smiled at her anyways. "It's alright, the aim is the hardest part to get. With practice you'll get it. Come, see if you can find some more prey, you can try again."

He glanced away as she claimed that his mother would want him. He wasn't so sure himself, but sometimes it was easier for him to think that way - if he didn't think his mother would be nice, then he would really miss, right? But there was no way of knowing if she did ever care for him or not. His forest green orbs looked back towards the night warrior as she asked for confirmation about him having no parents. "Nope," he simply shook his head at this. Like his mother, he had no clue about how his father had felt about him. But it didn't really matter now did it, he doubted he could ever find them - not sure where they were or if they were even alive. He could guess where Nightbreeze was going with this, but he didn't want to assume such a thing until she continued.

She hoped this time she'd find a scent she knew, like a squirrel or something, but at first she could find nothing. "I can't smell anything," she complained to Arrowheart, walking around now. She narrowed her eyes in concentration, yet still nothing appeared. "What kind of of prey is supposed to be around here, anyway?" Lightpaw asked inquisitivly, still focused on searching for any signs of prey.

"Is-Is this right?" Burstpaw asked, most of his attention on the move.It sure feels right, at least!
Flamingarrow rushed forwards and helped steady the apprentice. "Yes! That's great Burstpaw!" He exclaimed with praise. The apprentice had caught on quicker than Flamingarrow had expected and the tom was happy that he learned it fast. "Now, try taking a few swipes and see how you hold up." He challenged.

Burstpaw was concentrating so hard he almost forgot his fear, as he prepared his body to swipe. Ok. My back paws must be planted firmly on the ground more than ever now, and my tail needs to be very secure. He pushed his tail even harder against the ground, and narrowed his amber eyes. The Orange tabby moved his forepaw across his body, staying pretty well balanced, but when he tried to swipe he wobbled. Burstpaw felt his legs starting to give, so he stopped moving his forepaws and stayed still. "Kimda like that?" He timidly asked, looking down at Flammingarrow.

Not even noticing what was going on Timberkit nearly jumped. She still didn't know what was going on until the tom prodded his paw on her face. The tom was clearly relieved when Timberkit decided to give into his game and chase after him. He was still unsure of the territory despite his many explorations - roots and twigs were just something he found hard to remember where they were. Suddenly, one of his large paws got caught on one as he ran, causing him to trip and lay sprawling on the forest floor. He gave a huff at this, getting annoyed with his own clumsiness. I really need to start looking where I'm running, he kept that mental note, hoping to come back to it later.

He carefully trekked down the forest, making sure he stayed silent. He stopped as he picked up Fernpaw's scent. He began following the scent, leading him to a fern bush. 'Aha! She must be there!' Moving forwards she gently laid her tail across the kit's back. "Avorton, would you like to come back to Thunderclan with me?" She asked. "You'll be cared for, I'll see to that. You won't have to worry about not being loved, you can have your share of prey. Ashstar won't mind." She added encouragingly, knowing that even a wise kit like him couldn't stay in the territory by them self and live a perfect life. Leaf bare was coming and she would hate for that to be the young kit's downfall if he remained alone.
